Zhong Ding, reigned 1519-1511 BC.
Zhong Ding, also known as Zhong Ding, the surname of the child, the name of Zhuang.
Grandfather: Shang Wang Taigeng
Father: Shang Wang Taiwu
Uncle: Shang Wang Xiaojia, Shang Wang Yongji
Younger brothers: Shang Wang Wairen, Shang Wang He Jia
In 1519, Taiwu's son Zhong Ding succeeded to the throne of the Shang Dynasty and was the tenth monarch of the Shang Dynasty.
In the first year of Zhong Ding (1519 BC), Zhong Ding moved the capital from Xi'an (Yanshi City, Luoyang, Henan) to Huan (Gandhi, also known as ι or Ao, Xingyang City, Zhengzhou, Henan).
At that time, the Yi tribe in the southeast of the Shang Dynasty arose.
In the sixth year of Zhongding (BC 1514), the Lanyi of the Yi tribe attacked the Shang Dynasty, and Zhongding sent troops to repel the Lanyi. Dan Chungding's own power was hit hard.
He died in the ninth year of Zhongding (BC 1511) and was buried in Diquan (Luoyang, Henan).
Wairen, reigned 1510-1501 BC.
Wairen, known as Bu Ren in the oracle bone inscription, has a surname and a name.
After Chung Ding's death, a large number of brothers fought for the throne he left behind by virtue of their own power.
In 1510 BC, Taiwu's son and Zhong Ding's younger brother Wairen successfully seized the throne of the Shang Dynasty monarch and was the eleventh monarch of the Shang Dynasty. He also compromised with his younger brothers and promised to succeed him after his death, which caused a chaotic period of more than 100 years in the Shang Dynasty, when the princes did not come to court, and the Shang Dynasty began to decline, known as the "Rebellion of the Ninth Dynasty".
In the middle of the Shang Dynasty, there was turmoil in the royal family. Since Zhongding, the dynasty has declined, there have been successive disputes over the throne, and the capital has been moved repeatedly, and the princes have rebelled. This turbulent period has passed through the nine kings of Zhongding, Wairen, Hejia, Zuyi, Zuxin, Wojia, Zuding, Nangeng and Yangjia, hence the name.
Soon after Wairen ascended the throne, the two princely states of Ji (δΎ, Xin, Minquan County, Shangqiu, Henan) and Pi (Pizhou, Jiangsu) launched a rebellion and no longer listened to the dispatch of Zhongshang.
As mentioned earlier, the country of Ji is the Xin family, a prolific beauty, and a marriage with the princes. Shang Tang's left minister, Yi Yin, was born in the Youxin clan, and Shang Tang's right minister, Zhong Yu, was born in Pi State.
When Shang was strong, the relationship between the Xin clan and the Shang royal family was very close. But with the decline of the Shang royal family, the Xin clan rebelled from time to time.
The ancestors of Ji and Pi were the left and right ministers of the Shang Tang period, and they all rose up to rebel against the foreign people, which shows the decline of the Shang royal family at that time. For the rebellion of Ji and Pi, Wairen had no way at all.
Wairen reigned for 10 years, died of illness, and was buried in Diquan (Luo's hometown, Luoyang, Henan).
Reigned 1500-1492 BC.

In 1500 BC, Taiwu's son, Zhong Ding and Wairen's younger brother, He Jiajia, seized the throne of the Shang Dynasty and was the twelfth monarch of the Shang Dynasty.
In desperation, in order to alleviate the internal contradictions within the royal family, he moved the capital from the hustle and bustle to Xiang (Neihuang County, Anyang, Henan) to alleviate the situation of internal and external difficulties. This relocation of the capital partially alleviated the contradictions within the royal family, so that the Xia Dynasty was able to accumulate a certain amount of strength.
In the third year of Hejiajia (1498 BC), Hejiajia successfully won the full support of the Great Peng State and the Fengwei State surnamed Peng, and then sent troops to conquer the Pi State (Pizhou, Jiangsu), and the Pi State came to surrender.
In the fourth year of Hejiajia (BC 1497), Hejiajia sent troops to conquer the eastern tribe Lanyi.
In the fifth year of Hejia (BC 1496), the country of Ji (Yu, Xin, Minquan County, Shangqiu, Henan) made a handover to the class. He Jiajia then ordered Peng Bo and Weber to lead an army to conquer Banfang, and Banfang surrendered. In this way, the Ji Kingdom was isolated, so it also returned to the Shang Dynasty and paid tribute.
In the ninth year of the reign of Hejia (1492 BC), he died in the war against Lanyi, and was succeeded by his son Zu Yi after his death.
During his reign, he contributed to the stability of the Shang Dynasty and laid the foundation for the revival of Zuyi.

In 1491, Hejia's son Zu Yi inherited the throne of the Shang Dynasty and was the thirteenth monarch of the Shang Dynasty.
In the first year of Zu Yi (BC 1491), the capital of the Shang Dynasty was located in Xiang (Neihuang County, Anyang, Henan), because Xiang was located in the lower reaches of the Yellow River, the river water swelled from time to time, and the river flooded, not only a large number of manors were washed away, the people of Li were rarely settled, and their lives and property were in danger of being submerged from time to time.
Wu Xian (the son of Wu Xian), a virtuous minister beside him, had already estimated Zu Yi's thoughts, so he bluntly said to him: "The monarch's concerns and humble duties have long been perceived, and they are nothing more than the changes in the capital!" After hearing this, King Zu Yi said very happily: "Since the virtuous minister understands, he should make a decision for the lonely one." Wu Xian said calmly: "I heard that there is Geng Land in the west, located in Fenyin, where one is the land of Fu and the people, and the other is not the land divided by the princes and soldiers, why not move Geng to build the capital." β
After hearing this, Zu Yi thought for a long time, and soon issued a general order to move the capital from Xiangxiang to Geng (Longmen, Hejin City, Yuncheng, Shanxi).
In the second year of Zu Yi (BC 1490), due to the river flood, Geng Du was washed away, which shows that Wu Xian offered a bad idea.
In order to lead the merchants to find a better livable city, Zu Yi sent people to the north to the place where their ancestors lived to find a place to live.
In the third year of Zu Yi (1489 BC), although Wu Xian did not perform well in the matter of moving the capital, Zu Yi still appointed Wu Xian as the secretary (prime minister).
