Chapter 057: The Master of the Dragon

Sonny almost stumbled, rolling, and fell into the stone tower cavern.

"Didn't you say that nothing in this world could pass through the illusion? it was a dragon, a dragon! damn it, that thing broke in, it would kill you all, silly old man!" he grumbled, rubbing his sore back. It was the first time he had seen a dragon, the beast was big enough to cover the sun, and although it didn't breathe fire, the wind pressure when it was close to the illusion was enough for the dwarf earth spirit clan to drink a pot.

"Panic panic...... "Old Maud swallowed and stroked his barbed tongue.

"Old Maude, I'm worried about you and your people," Sonny spat to the side, "I'm a wizard, I can take advantage of the chaos to escape, what about you, this is the illusion of your Earth Spirit Clan." ”

"Didn't you see a man riding on the back of a dragon. Old Maud staggered to his feet, "Stinky boy, you can't escape, maybe that person is here to find you, and you lured the evil dragon to the illusion!"

There was a loud "boom", and the whole cave shook violently, and the stone dust fell from the edge like several waterfalls, and the ancient books on the sunken stone frame fell to the ground, and even the stone bed of Old Maud appeared a crack. "Look for me, the master of the dragon?" Sonny leaned his back against the edge of the wall so as not to fall, "you, old Maud, dragons will yield to humans?"

Old Maud shook his head. "How do I know?"

"Then tell me what you know," Sonny looked up at the low rock top, "Is Sula in the dungeon?"

"She didn't bring any alcohol with her, and I drove her away. Old Maud stumbled towards the stone wall. At this time, the shaking had stopped, and the originally neat and spacious stone hall was full of messes, and after the secret door leading to the underground palace appeared, the thick stone door was full of cracks, and even three places exploded, which had become a little distorted. "Kid, come here, help me get it out of the way!"

Sonny stepped over a pile of palm-sized parchment books and walked over to the stone door, reaching out and stroking it against the rough stone door. "Aren't you the elder of the Earth Spirit Clan, do you want to ignore the life and death of your clansmen and prepare to hide in the underground palace and flee alone?"

"Every stone tower has an underground palace, but there is a divine fire in the elder's underground palace!" Old Maude anxiously urged, "Quick, push it away!"

Sonny pressed his palm against the stone door, and with a slam force, the twisted stone door made a dull sound. Behind the door was still a deep, hungry darkness, like a living thing, glaring at him. But then, the lights on the edge of the wall lit up, and along with the clusters of fluttering green flames, floating up the brazier on the stone platform, dancing enchantingly.

The sound of their footsteps echoed through the empty stone walls of the dungeon, bypassing each stone pillar. "Did you just see clearly?" asked Sonny as he followed behind Old Maud, "Is there really someone on the back of a dragon?" Old Maud nodded. "So what now?"

Old Maud stopped, turned to look up at the tall human in front of him. "Child, the Divine Fire will guide you. ”

When Sonny reached out to the Divine Fire, he suddenly remembered Horn who had disappeared from here, and hesitated. "Tell me, what's going to happen next?"

Old Maude jumped on his shoulder. "I don't know, but as long as you have a question, it will give you the answer. ”

Everything around me seems to be starting to fall silent. "Listen with your ears and see with your eyes," he heard old Maude say, "tell it everything you want to know, and it will answer you for the god Namu." The voice began to grow distant. "Child, when you open your eyes again, you are no longer you. ”

"And who am I?" asked Sonny softly.

"Sonny!!" a voice roared.

Sonny opened his eyes suddenly, and in the dim light of the fire, he saw a familiar figure appear at the entrance of the dungeon, but then the surroundings turned pale, as if falling into the clouds, or in the mist, the fog was like a light feather, gradually obscuring everything.

He found himself falling, and with each beat of his heart, he fell lower and lower, and the abyss beneath him was so dark that it seemed to fall forever. So, he closed his eyes.

When I opened it again, the surrounding scenery changed. He lay on the ground, saw the full moon in the sky, and realized that this was no longer the underground palace. After staggering to his feet, what appeared to be a city came into view. The buildings are long, narrow and slender, with strange styles and shapes, and the outer walls are intricately carved in stone, and almost every building has unknown patterns carved into it.

He walked a little further along the wide road, through misshapen trees and meadows, and over a stone arch bridge, under which were moored a number of boats, whose flags fluttered in the night breeze on their masts, lying quietly on the bottomless water, some of them by faint candlelight.

Soon he came to a wide square, lined with strange buildings, and beyond that it seemed to be a castle, for it was grander than any of the buildings here, and with a wide, narrow stone staircase as a medium to connect the square.

He summoned a fireball to light the way, trying to find someone who hadn't slept yet and asked where it was, but suddenly a sharp hiss came from behind him.

He looked back and saw a dark shadow appear in the gray sky, a familiar look that grew larger and larger as time passed...... Until the two eyes rise in front of you.

The two amber eyes, brighter than the polished shield, shimmered with their own heat. Green smoke billed from the dragon's nostrils, casting a layer of mist over the burning eyes.

The glow of the fireball in Sonny's hand swept across the dark dragon scales, the color of the black moss in the depths of the forest at dusk, before the last rays of sunlight faded.

The dragon opened its mouth suddenly, and light and heat came together. Behind a row of sharp black fangs, Sonny caught a glimpse of a furnace, only the dragon flame was a hundred times brighter than the fireball in his hand. The dragon's head was three of his length, and its neck stretched out like a giant black python until its pair of fiery amber eyes looked down at Sonny.

Damn, what am I going to do?chant a spell or wait to die?," Sonny thought, swallowing his saliva.

After only a moment of hesitation, the giant dragon in front of him suddenly spread its wings and flew high, and a powerful wind pressure slapped him to the ground like an invisible giant palm. When he got up again, countless dragon flames turned into tumbling fireballs and flew towards the strange buildings around them.

Then, as countless wails replaced the silence of the night, he felt as if the dead city had come to life, and countless people had crossed the streets in the firelight, fled from the alleys, jumped from the towers, and howled in the burning buildings.

What the hell is this place? What should I do? Old Maude? Damn it.....

A hot wind swept over him, and he heard the shrill flapping of wings, a cloud of ash and gravel around him, and an earth-shattering roar echoed through the sky. In the chaos, countless people rushed to the square where he was, perhaps because there were no combustibles here, and it seemed relatively safe, but then a cloud of dragon flames flew not far away, burning a huge pit in an instant.

"No, no, no!!" a voice shouted.

Sonny turned, and a blinding light grew stronger, revealing a figure in it, his left hand held up to block the infernal, scorching smoky wind that was rushing in his face.

"Brother?" he called softly.
