Chapter 149: The duel between Eren and Ian
The Thunderbird vanished, and Henry Jones, enraged, approached Leonard step by step, easily blocking his spell.
Their struggle intensified, and the spell reverberated through the room, causing a violent explosion that shattered the furnishings, walls, and even the roof.
Professor Flitwick has successfully settled the problem of Viyon. Seeing this, he hurriedly helped Leonard.
Professor Flitwick unleashed a spell that struck the fat and stocky wizard, throwing him high into the air.
A sneering and irritated smirk flashed across Henry's face, and he launched a fierce attack on Leonard, firing incantations like whips, moving more and more fiercely.
Leonard was supposed to be on par with Henry, but he had suffered from the Unforgivable Curse before, and his wand was not easy to handle, so he could only barely parry Henry's attack.
However, just then, a dazzling bright light shot out from the darkness, and a spell struck Henry, causing him to fall on his back and his wand to fly.
It's Allen! Allen's disarming charm succeeded in removing Henry's wand. And because he used all his magic power in a hurry, the power of the spell was amazing.
"Great! The wand is flying!" Leonard managed to get his hands on Henry's wand.
Henry glared at Leonard with deep hatred in his eyes. Professor Flitwick conjured a rope that bound Henry strongly.
Leonard gave him a petrification spell. Henry's eyes widened, and with a face full of unwillingness, he fell to the ground.
"I don't know who sent the disarming charm, it's neat!" Leonard exclaimed.
"I think I probably know who it is, that 'Remove your weapon' is clearly Alan's voice. Professor Flitwick was pleased.
"Alan, is that you?" asked Professor Flitwick.
However, no one in the house answered him.
Alan was already out of the house, and his sensitive ears heard the sound of Jessica and Ian fighting.
When there was a violent explosion inside the house, the bandits who were standing guard on the periphery rushed back. They were caught off guard by the illusion spell and ambushed nearby Jessica and Ian.
Allen's appearance out of thin air strengthens Jessica and Ian. The spells that don't seem to have high attack power, such as "Except Your Weapons" and "All Petrified", are unexpectedly unbeatable when combined with Allen's stealth skills.
The presence of Professor Flitwick and Leonard was the straw for the bandits' defeat.
"Jessica, Ian, good job!" Professor Leonard looked lovingly at the two of them.
"Where's Alan? isn't he with you?" asked Professor Flitwick.
"Professor, I'm here. "Eren showed up.
"Alan," Leonard said mildly, "you helped me most selflessly when I was most desperate and ready to give up! I will not forget it, son, thank you!" Leonard, who was no longer grumpy, figured out what had happened.
"Nothing, Mr. Leonard. Alan smiled, and his polite attitude made Leonard even more appreciative.
"By the way, Alan, did you see the Thunderbird?" asked Mr. Leonard.
"Of course, sir, it's here, and I think it needs the best treatment. Alan summoned the Thunderbird out of space and handed it to Leonard.
"All right, children, what you need now is to go home and rest. I'll notify Congress to take care of the rest. Leonard was tired, but his eyes were full of joy.
"How about you send these children back, Filius?"
"We can go back on our own, uncle. Eren has learned to apparition. Jessica spoke quickly.
"Oh, is it? Philius, this student of yours is so good, far better than a young wizard of his age!" Leonard, who received Alan's affirmative answer, praised again and again.
Professor Flitwick beamed with joy and pride in Alan.
Alan takes Jessica and Ian back to the warm, cozy, and safe cabin.
With the snowstorm outside, in the boundless and dark night, the three tired little wizards quickly fell asleep.
The next day, when Alan woke up, it was already dawn and there was light outside.
When Alan went downstairs, he was surprised to find Professor Flitwick sitting on the couch while Leonard was busy in the kitchen.
"Professor, Mr. Leonard, good morning, don't you have to go out again today?" asked Allen, curious.
"Everything has settled. Henry has been executed the most cruel punishment, and he will spend his life immersed in his own boundless suffering. Leonard said happily when he heard Allen's question.
After Jessica and Ian washed up, they were also surprised to see Leonard busy in the kitchen.
"Uncle, don't you have to go to the Magic Congress today?" Jessica thoughtfully walked into the kitchen to help Leonard make breakfast.
"Ha, it's Christmas, and I can finally stay at home and spend this important holiday with you. Leonard smiled heartily.
"Great!" Jessica and Ian said in unison.
Breakfast was a veal pie, and Jessica and Ian's appetite simply stunned Alan.
Alan couldn't help but pick up a pie again, it wasn't that delicious!
Seeing Alan's appearance, Jessica smiled very sweetly. "Alan, we've loved eating veal pies made by Uncle Leonard since we were kids. It's full of memories of our childhood. β
Well, it turns out that what you eat is not pie, it is memories, it is love.
Alan laughed and ate the whole pie. Saving food is a virtue.
After the meal, this rare leisure time intrigued Leonard.
"Filius, remember your original purpose for coming to the United States?" Leonard looked at Professor Flitwick with a smile.
"Of course, it's for Alan and Ian to duel. "Hearing the strings of the song and knowing the meaning of the elegant, Professor Flitwick was happy to see the duel proposed by Leonard.
Professor Flitwick is convinced that Alan will never lose to Ian.
Several people came to the yard, and the snow in the yard had been cleared.
Alan and Ian both drew their wands and saluted each other.
Ian's posture is gruff, but it is also generous, and there is a sense of heroism.
Allen's perfect manners are not only with mesmerizing elegance, but also with a manly spirit.
"Listen to me, three-two-oneββ, begin!" Jessica announced with gusto, and the duel began.
