Chapter Eighty-Nine: Malfoy's Visit
In the hall, Lucius Malfoy looked at Taylor Selwin and Nolin's back as he walked out.
It was hard for him to comprehend that in Tyler Selwyn's mind, the status of the child of unknown origin was more important than him, and he could leave him in the hall to deliver the child himself.
"Dad, the head of the Selwyn family doesn't take you seriously, does he?"
Draco Malfoy made up for it at the right time, and Lucius's face became even more ugly.
He snorted, but whispered:
"Don't talk nonsense later, this is not home."
"Got it."
Draco looked at Lucius and said absent-mindedly, continuing to look at an oil painting hanging on the wall.
It wasn't long before Taylor Selwyn strode in, and finally with a smile on his face, he said:
"I'm sorry, Lucius, I've kept you waiting."
"No, my friend, it's nothing."
Lucius waved his hand, signaling that he didn't care at all, and asked with a smile, "Which family's child was that just now?" It looks extraordinary. ”
"Oh, you think so, too?"
Taylor Selwyn said in the same way, but he snorted coldly in his heart, how could he let him beat Norin's idea, and said,
"He's a guest of our Selwyn family, you might as well guess which family?"
Old fox.
Lucius chuckled and moved the conversation over, Tyler Selwyn didn't mean to talk more. His gaze turned to Elena on the side, and said with a smile:
"This is Elena's niece, she's grown so big in the past few years."
Elena, who was distracted, was coldly named, showed a polite smile, and said, "Hello uncle." ”
"Draco is about to enroll at Hogwarts, and I ask you, who is my sister, to take care of him a little."
Lucius said with a gentle smile. Draco looked at Elena and only thought that this sister was a little pretty, but he was a little dissatisfied with what his father said.
When will my Draco go to school and need to be babysitted?
"Elena, take Draco out for a walk."
Taylor Selwyn waved his hand and said to Elena.
Elena stood up noncommittally and walked towards the outside of the mansion first.
It wasn't until the two children walked out of the hall that the smile on Taylor Selwyn's face gradually faded, and he asked faintly:
"Say, Malfoy, what are you coming to me for after all these years? I don't have anything to do with you anymore. ”
Lucius's face also became indifferent, and he sneered:
"Why, Selwyn, the Dark Lord has only been gone for a few years, and you are ashamed of your status as a Death Eater?"
"He lied to me!"
Tyler Selwyn was furious, staring into Lucius's eyes and whispering, "The Dark Lord promised me that he would solve the curse on Isadele, and he lied to me!" ”
"Since he died at the hands of that immortal boy, it's over, isn't it?"
The corners of Lucius's mouth curled slightly, he glanced at Tyler Selwyn's left hand, and said softly:
"Anyway, can you still be the Dark Devil Mark on your hand that doesn't exist?"
Taylor Selwyn's eyes narrowed, and he asked sharply:
"What are you going to say when you came to me today?"
Lucius's face froze slightly, and he said meaninglessly:
"I have a hunch that the Dark Lord is not dead...... Someday, he will return. ”
The two looked at each other for a long time, speechless.
In the manor, Elena took Draco and walked around at will. When she walked to the colorful fountain, she remembered the scene from last night, and for a moment her little face was slightly red, but the corners of her mouth showed a hint of a smile.
"Did that boy go to Hogwarts too?"
I don't know why, Draco felt a little uncomfortable when he saw her smile, and asked stiffly.
"Yes."
Elena replied casually.
"What's his name?"
Draco asked again.
"Norlin Davis, you're going to have to remember. Don't mess with him when you're at school. ”
Elena looked at the splashing fountain and smiled. For some reason, a subtle sense of pride appeared in her heart as her name was pronounced.
"Davis? He's a half-blood? It's still mud ......."
Draco subconsciously searched for the surname Davis, and when he found that he had no impression, he immediately pulled the corners of his mouth and said with a sneer.
But before the last word could be spit out, he felt a chill rush from the soles of his feet to his hair.
"There's no next time, Malfoy. If you dare me hear it, I'll throw you into the fountain. ”
Elena reverted to her cold appearance, staring indifferently into Draco's somewhat flustered eyes.
Draco's thin lips opened and closed, and finally he snorted stiffly, but he didn't dare to speak casually.
I don't know where he's now.
Elena didn't pay attention to Draco, but thought to herself.
Norin was still sitting in her family's luxurious carriage, with the silver necklace already around her neck. Out of boredom, he opened the gift box given to him by Taylor Selwyn.
For the gifts from the Selwyn family, Nolin still has some expectations.
Inside the box were two bottles of mana regeneration potion, a quaint ring, and some precious potion materials.
"Hmm...... Unicorn horns, this thing is just going to be delivered? Fire dragon tendons, Thunderbird tail ...... Is the Selwyns still in the business of smuggling magical biological materials? ”
Norin muttered to himself, "This wave is not a loss, a body of magic in exchange for so many materials, these can be counted as thousands of Galleons, right?" ”
The value of the other items Nolin almost knew it, except for the ring, which he was confused about.
He picked up the ring, looked at it carefully, and found that the ring exuded the vicissitudes of life, and there were several obscure runes in the inner ring of the ring.
Runes again.
Norin lamented, no longer bothering about the usefulness of the ring, and put it on the middle finger of his left hand.
He had so much to study that he really didn't have the energy to figure out the mystery of the ring.
Norlin lifted the curtain and looked out the window, and saw that the carriage had gradually descended from the sky, and was once again in the dark and gloomy alley.
"Here we are, Mr. Davis."
The carriage landed smoothly, and the voice of the middle-aged wizard driving the car sounded outside the carriage.
"Good work."
Norin stepped out of the carriage, and the two Thestrals stood quietly in place, and couldn't help but pat one of them on the head.
Thestrals screamed silently, and the middle-aged wizard's eyes froze, staring strangely at Nolin's departing back, and then silently drove back to the Selwyn family.
While in the car, Norlin had changed into a dark black robe, completely enveloping his figure.
Since he was in Tumbledown Alley, Norlin happened to be a little curious about this place, so he planned to visit this place first.
