Chapter 10: I Came for Salvation

As soon as Sivir and the Space Marines of the Fire Fortress and Bone Hammer warbands under his command appeared, they inflicted a large number of casualties on the demons.

They easily swept away the low-level demons near the harbor, and these evil creatures that seemed invincible to Zack were easily wiped out under the blasters of the Space Marines.

Dressed in power armor and armed with blasters, Space Marines roam the battlefield slaying demons that have slipped through the net, and Zach and his warriors simply can't participate in such a battle. They numbered less than a hundred, even fewer than the Astarte warriors who came to their aid.

Even the Astral Army is usually able to fight alongside the Astartes by virtue of their numerical superiority, and it is even more difficult for Zach and his few remaining planetary defense troops to keep up with the pace of the Space Marines. Any demon that appears could cause Zach and them to suffer heavy casualties.

As Zach and his soldiers stood there watching the Space Marines unleash their might, a warrior in golden armor walked up to them. With only one suit of armor, he was already bigger than the Astarte warriors who wore full power armor.

The golden armor worn on his body was not tacky, but it set off the majesty of it. He is straightforward, not evil but strict, and he is so charming. When they made eye contact with him, Zach was immediately impressed by him and wanted to be loyal to this adult and serve him.

Those eyes were full of majesty, but in the depths of them seemed to contain great love for mankind.

It may sound blasphemous, but at one point, Zach almost took him for the emperor, thinking that the emperor had come back to save his people.

"I am Sivier Disses, son of the Emperor." The golden-armored warrior introduced himself.

When Zack heard that the other party was the emperor's son, he suddenly realized the wonderful feeling he had before.

"Now, tell me if you're still loyal to the Emperor!"

Sivir asked in his deep voice, which was so oppressive that he seemed to hear half a word and strike at the heresy.

"The Emperor is above! We remain loyal!! ”

Zach and his soldiers loudly expressed their loyalty, for fear that they would not die at the hands of the demons, but would be loyal to their own people.

Seeing that Zach was armed with a plasma pistol at his waist, Sivir determined that he was the leader of the men and asked him:

"Since you are still loyal to the Emperor, can anyone explain to me what is going on in the harbor?"

Hearing this, Zach suddenly became nervous, and beads of sweat the size of beans kept appearing on his head.

Due to the lack of manpower in the port, they were unable to maintain order on their own, and because of the lack of food, the support was delayed, and the surviving residents of the city and some of their own soldiers had completely degenerated.

But these are excuses for the Astartes, and they just need to know that someone of your men has thrown into the arms of Chaos is enough to hold you accountable and punish.

Zach whispered the ins and outs of the matter to Sever.

When Sivir heard this, he raised his palm, and Zach thought he was going to punish himself, and he closed his eyes in fright.

But Siwell's palm just patted Zach lightly on the shoulder, and said:

"You're doing a good job, Zack, and the Emperor will be proud of you."

Hearing this, Zach opened his eyes in disbelief, and was praised by the emperor's son, what a glory. Zach suddenly felt that his perseverance in the past ten days was not in vain. I was also glad that I didn't end my life quietly just now, and secretly gave Marcus a grateful look.

"Zack, we've cleaned up all the fallen people inside, and the rest of the Empire's people need you to manage them. I will leave behind thirty Astarte warriors who will be stationed here to protect the harbor and assist you in managing the subjects of the Empire. Now, go and appease the poor people. ”

"Yes, Sivir-sama."

Zach was so excited that he set off as soon as he received the order, eager to complete the task given to him by Lord Sivir.

After watching Zach lead his soldiers away, Laurent, who was standing beside Siwell, spoke his thoughts:

"Lord Sivir, demons usually can't control their desire to kill. In fact, I have fought against demons along with other warbands, and their minds are all about sacrificing and pleasing evil gods, and only some high-ranking demons have such brains. But most of the time, they don't bother to please the evil gods in this way. ”

"Well, go on." Sivir agreed.

"I suspect that someone is deliberately trying to attract the support of some people by relying on the subjects of the Empire in this port, and combined with the evil eyes you mentioned earlier in the subspace, I think it is you who they are trying to attract, and this is a trap for you."

Laurent seriously voiced her guess.

"Laurent, the people of the Empire need to be saved, so I am here. I came into this world to save humanity, and I know it's not easy, but conspiracies, traps, and tricks can't stop me. What about this trap, I will never leave these people persecuted by the devil. ”

Sivir's determination was set, and Laurent no longer thought about persuading him to leave, silently vowing in her heart to protect Lord Sivir no matter what happened.

"Spencer, leave thirty members of the Hammer of Bones to guard this port, and the rest of the members of the Hammer of Bones will be led by you to search for the people of the Empire in the city and send them here for protection."

"Laurent, you and the members of the Fire Barrier Warband rush to the center of the city with me, let's find a way to close that subspace rift, otherwise the demons will keep pouring out of the subspace, and we will not be able to recover this planet at all."

With that, Sivel looked at the colorful black shadow cloud in the center of the city and began to move towards it.

Although only one company of the Fire Barrier warband arrived with Sivir, they are all elite members of the Fire Barrier, and most of them wear Tactical Dreadnought Armor, also known as Terminator Armor.

This armor is only worn by the strongest in the warband, and it can provide the user with protection far beyond power armor. The Astartes could be equipped with heavy weapons single-handedly through their armored auxiliary power units, and most of the warriors at the Fire Barrier were equipped with heavy flamethrowers.

Sivir's formidable strength, coupled with the company of these powerful warriors, quickly cleared the demons in their path and approached the subspace rift in the center of the city.

"Be careful, there are many enemies ahead, and they are approaching."

Sivir spotted the enemy's traces with his psionic powers, and after a warning, he picked up a power hammer on his back, which was Spencer's weapon, which was temporarily borrowed by Siwell.

Sivir leaned against the wall and looked around the corner of the street to see the noise warriors.

The "Sons of the Emperor", once led by the Genogen Fogham, betrayed the Emperor and threw himself into the arms of Slaanesh. I don't know if they still think of themselves as glorious "sons of the emperor" after betraying the emperor. Some of these warriors wield powerful but dangerous psionic sonic weapons, known as Noise Warriors.

Armed with sonic blasters and blowers of destruction, the noise warriors in the arms of Slaanesh are blessed with Slaanesh, each of whom has an incredibly sensitive sense of hearing and can hear slight noises from great distances.

That is, Sivir they should have been discovered a long time ago.

There is an ambush here!

When Sivir realized this, a large group of Chaos Space Marines suddenly appeared around the streets.
