Chapter 10 The Sorrow of the Fish: Translator's Notes
In the preface to "Song Before Dawn", Ero Xianke said that "The Sorrow of the Fish" and "The Heart of the Eagle" were written with the sorrow of the artist. I once wanted to translate the previous one, but finally put aside my pen and only translated "The Heart of the Eagle".
Recently, Mr. Hu Yuzhi wrote to me, saying that the author himself said that "The Sorrow of Fish" was the most pleasant, and taught me to translate it first, so I tried my best to translate it. However, this is the work that most requires an innocent tone, and the article that is the most difficult to use Chinese to make an innocent tone, and this is the reason why I put down my pen before; Now, although the translation has been completed, it has lost a lot of the original goodness and beauty, which is really sorry for the author and the reader.

Translator's Note on The Tragedy of the Chick
This sketch was written by the author at the end of June, so it can be said to be a recent creation. The original manuscript is in Japanese.
The Japanese word for love and carp are both Koi, so the two lines of dialogue in the second paragraph are puns and cannot be translated in China. Although the author once said that it might as well be changed, I thought that the two sounds of the love carp were similar, so I didn't change them anymore.
