190 College Study (Happy National Day)
(There will be a few pictures of the academy learning process later, and there will be a lot of training-related content)
After the physical fitness test, Jimmy and his new academy will be grouped, and the quasi-agents and quasi-intelligence analysts will cooperate with each other for the subsequent training, so that the roles of the two sides can better cooperate and communicate in the future work.
FBI agents are not all-round hexagonal warriors, everyone has their own specialty, and for intelligence analysts, there will be more training related to analyzing intelligence, while prospective agents will have more simulated combat content.
At the beginning of the formal training course, Jimmy realized that the number of students in this class was not large, and he had learned that there were about a few hundred to a thousand students in each class of FBI, and about 70-80% of them would successfully graduate and be admitted.
And Jimmy's number of students in this phase is very small, only a few dozen, compared to the usual batch of students, these dozens of people are too few now, and the training instructors feel that they are almost more than the students.
Over the next five months, Jimmy's students will learn skills training such as shooting, fighting, tactical training, QB training, driving training, professional courses, and moral education.
FBI agents have to learn much more than the police academy, just to understand these content is a headache, to complete all the content in just 5 months, for the trainees to memorize and focus put forward higher requirements.
The specialized courses include courses in law, ethics, behavioral science, conversation and report writing, reconnaissance, intelligence, interrogation, evidence collection, etc., as well as practical skills and standard procedures required in witness protection, informant protection, and other processes.
The legal aspects are mainly training on federal law, the U.S. Constitution, and legal process, and if there is a problem with the search process, the evidence obtained may be denied admission by the court, which is a big problem.
Moral education is mainly about learning to protect the public and prevent abuse of power, because FBI agents have too strong enforcement powers, and if there are no moral restrictions, the consequences for the general public are very serious, because they can arrest people and send them to prison at will.
These contents have been popularized by the college supervisor and counselors before learning, so that everyone is mentally prepared enough, and it is destined to not be easy to learn so much content in 5 months.
This is Jimmy's first time to receive professional course training, he is very attentive, and now he is in good spirits, and he found that his memory is very good when he studied at the previous community college, so the law and eucalyptus related content in the professional course is remembered very quickly, and for Jimmy's students who love to learn, the agents who obviously train also like it very much, which is basically equivalent to giving Jimmy a little green light, he just asked some questions when he was fine, and basically never refused.
Skills training Jimmy does not have such a big advantage, first of all, firearms, Jimmy is good at revolvers, and FBI training is semi-automatic pistol Glock 19, semi-automatic rifles, shotguns belong to the ability to use it, generally not used.
The standard FBI gun is the Glock 19, which is really not a good thing for Jimmy, as a quasi-agent, Jimmy must practice his gun well.
In the first firearms class, at the indoor range, Jimmy and a dozen cadets were already lined up, and a special agent stood in front of Jimmy and their cadets.
….
"Good morning, fellow students. I'm Special Agent Buddy, and this is your first firearms lesson, and I'll introduce your main weapons and shooting points in the future, and then the other agents will guide you through shooting posture and dismantling firearms. I know many of you have military or police backgrounds, but to make sure you're all familiar, we're starting from the same line.
Note that when you get a lethal weapon, when you have a gun in your hand, there will be some changes in your mentality, and you will have a lot of psychological pressure, which must be slowly eliminated by a lot of training and practical application scenarios, no one can help you, you can only rely on your own experience.
The first is the Glock 19, which is a special version produced exclusively for the FBI and is the standard gun for the FBI Special Agents, and when you graduate from the academy, each of you will receive one as your sidegun.
Our training begins with basic safety practices:
1. Treat all guns as if they were fully loaded
2. Finger off the trigger until you want to press it
3. Don't point a gun at anyone unless there is a valid reason to do so
For those of you who have served in the military or the police, you should be familiar with the use of firearms, but the actions of our FBI agents are very different from what you have done before.
As FBI agents, we usually have plenty of time to plan our arrest plan, to locate suspects, and most of our operations are done early in the morning, and if you're going to arrest someone, you can pretty much guarantee that they're home around 5 a.m., so a lot of the time it's dark and we use weapons when there's not a lot of light.
In addition to normal firearms practice, everyone must learn to aim and shoot with a flashlight, must learn to aim and shoot in a flashing police light, and must learn to reload and reload a pistol in the dark.
Limited by the use of our firearms, it is very likely that the suspect will appear in front of you at a very close distance, in order to fight back, we have some cases, we have to shoot from the waist, which is also what you need to train, block the suspect with your left hand, and shoot the gun at the waist with your right hand, and then use the normal shooting position.
After that, the other agents will train you how to use Glock 19, so take your place."
The students have been grouped, and there are only a dozen people who take the firearms class with Jimmy, because the previous batch of students were hundreds of people, so for this batch of students with only a few dozen people, the special agents of the academy seem to be very large, and these dozen or so quasi-agents have enjoyed the one-on-one training of the special agents of the academy.
Jimmy has a firearms foundation, and has been using the Buretta 92F before, he has never used the Glock series, and the instructor who trained him explained the key points and firearm operation to him in detail, after which Jimmy began his own 20-meter target training, thanks to his previous experience, Jimmy got started quickly.
The Glock 19 trigger safety and the Buretta 92F's thumb safety are in different positions and operate differently, although Jimmy is using it for the first time, but Glock's trigger safety operation is very smooth, and after practicing a few bullets, he has adapted to Glock's two-stage trigger.
Now the practice is a 20-meter chest target, Jimmy's hit rate is okay, judging from the gunfire of other target tracks around, most of Jimmy's group of students obviously have a relatively good foundation, only three or four seem to be quasi-intelligence officers, they are still familiar with guns.
The FBI Academy has a very conscientious point, they provide 2 boxes of ammunition for each person, not afraid that you will shoot too much, the only problem is that each student only has a gun and a magazine, and they also need to load their own bullets, which greatly limits Jimmy's experience.
[In other words, it is the best to read aloud and listen to books at present, @@,.install the latest version.] 】
The large capacity of 17+1 rounds ensures continuous fire suppression, if there are multiple magazines filled with bullets in advance, the short-term pouring fire is definitely better than the 92F that Jimmy used before, and the trigger safety is also convenient for them to take out the gun from the holster and shoot directly, without the need to operate the insurance, after entering the 21st century, nearly half of the police departments in the United States have begun to replace Glock as a police gun, which is based on these advantages.
