Chapter 3: A New Beginning

Her pace slowed, and her chest began to ache and burn from the sharp wheezing, and by the time she reached the great door of the stone structure, it was already in pain. She leaned forward and placed a hand on it. Obviously, she hadn't recovered from the ten-second sprint she had just had. Do her legs always tremble like that? Her eyes lifted, she took a deep breath, and through the shadows of the gate, she entered the lively square just in the distance.

It's full of life and sound. It is full of adventurers and ordinary people, all dressed in a variety of colorful clothes and armor. They walk around and make the city full of life, color, and commotion. Within her line of sight were men, women, and other strangers who were more difficult to distinguish, dressed in robes and armor, holding swords and staffs, and carrying heavy bags full of things. Some of them walked towards the second gate in the distance, which stood in the distance, towering behind the city. It looks a little spooky. Others returned from that direction, rushing into the strange shops and buildings that sat in the square. The hawkers shouted around, and it sounded as natural as birdsong.

A fantasy world. By the standards of where she came from, this is clearly a place that can only be described as a fantasy. She looked around as if some of them with huge swords and pointed hats weren't enough to prove it. Then, she saw the strongest evidence she was looking for. A woman with two long, pointed ears walked by. The girl clenched her fists excitedly, whispering to herself while she felt a little uneasy inside. It really happened!

The elf stared strangely at the sweaty girl who was staring at her, their eyes met awkwardly for a moment, and then the elf turned and walked on.

"Ahh She might think I'm a monster......" the girl gasped and muttered. All right. Never mind! That's it! New Life! How many years has she been waiting for a chance to start over? This time she decided to forge ahead and get ready for the day, feeling the bright sun shining on her as she stepped over the threshold into the city. As the soles of her soft boots tread lightly on the road below, this new day that has arrived heralds endless possibilities. She looked at the crowd of people passing by and smiled from ear to ear. They look like their close friends.

In the years she had spent before, she seemed very unfamiliar with all this. What kind of fantasy world is this? A game-like world? Or something even more bizarre, "dungeons"? Looking around at the ease and freedom of people's movements, she thinks it's the last one. A so-called "dungeon fantasy world", where it may be a dark world, but it can also be a real paradise for people like her. If she becomes an adventurer, someone who makes money by fighting monsters and looting dungeon resources, she might be able to do anything she dreams of. She can have real ambitions, real goals, real friends. She looked around, her face radiant, and there were many strange colorful things around her, making her senses seem a little overloaded. But she didn't have the money to buy them. She only had a robe on her body, her medium-length hair fluttering in the spring breeze, and some wet blonde hair swaying with her steps.

Blond? Her hair wasn't blonde before.

She gently pulled off one and noticed that her hair was different. She soon understood, as she had also been given a new body. Later she will double-check herself to check herself, but now it is in public. It can be scary for most people to re-own a new body, but to be honest, she never really liked her previous body. Maybe this ...... Very good. She smiled happily. It's going to be a good life. What kind of person does she want to be? She can do anything.

As you walk, you look at the passers-by around you. Swordsmen armed with greatswords, wizards and magicians dressed in dark clothes, and even some who looked like priestesses, judging by their pure white coats and soft, smooth bodies. She prefers this genre, maybe this suits her? Whether it's a fight? Or heal?

A woman with a large shield passed by and nodded to her quietly. Maybe she can get a shield like her to be awe-inspiring? Looking at the figure of La Feng, her eyes brightened.

She decided to look around one more time, she wanted to confirm one thing. A thought burned inside her. Venture. She wanted to take risks. Her heart had been burning for it all her life, and now that she had finally got her wish, her heart burned even more vigorously. How? Is there a "system"? What's ...... about her Menu or something? Or do you want to go through learning? Does she have to choose a type, or does she just grab any weapon that seems right and start practicing? She smiled, humming a little song as she walked, and for the first time she didn't care about the feeling of being surrounded by people. She usually doesn't go out at all during the day, let alone sing while walking, let alone wear this.

She stretched her arms to her sides, and as she stood in the middle of the road, she stretched widely, basking in the bright and warm sunlight, which gently caressed her face, and she sank into it, breathing long.

But it's a new life. A new her. She's going to do well this time. She swore to herself and to any god who might be listening to her heart. Nothing could stop her from achieving that dream. There is no fear. No anxiety. No doubt. No dark force can be summoned into the world through her own mind. No matter what. She will try hard, and the first step to that is to......

The girl blinked, looking down at the group of strangers around her.

"I'm sorry!" She asked a little man dressed in green. A white wooden mask covered his face with a strange smile on his face. He looked up at her. The stranger's height was only up to her belly.

"What?" A high-pitched, nasal voice from behind the mask that she couldn't tell if it was a man or a woman.

"Is this a dungeon?" The girl asked.

The man glanced at her plain robe and pale body, and looked up at her face. "Uh...... Yes," he then pointed to a large eerie door on the other side of the city in the distance. "You really can't miss it, but ......—"

"Thank you!" The girl didn't listen to the words anymore and had already begun to run there, her eyes full of excitement, more dazzling than the spring sun. She ignored the burning in her chest, which was overwhelmed by this new, bright sensation she felt.

"Ahh Wait a minute! The masked little man shouted behind her, but the voice was instantly muffled by the busy crowd. When she looked back again, the people had disappeared into the sea of people.
