Chapter Twenty-Seven: The Quidditch Tournament Begins
As we head into November, the weather in the Scottish Highlands gets very cold.
The mountains around Hogwarts were obscured by heavy gray clouds, the hills were covered in a thick layer of snow, and the surface of the lake was cold and hard like a whole sheet of steel. Every morning, the ground is covered with frost.
In one season like this, the Quidditch season begins.
On the Quidditch pitch, Hagrid, the gamekeeper, wrapped himself in a long moleskin coat, wore rabbit fur gloves, and wore huge beaver fur boots, and worked tirelessly to defrost his broomstick; On the lawn outside the pitch, the captain of the Quidditch team gathered the players together and whispered their tactics.
However, two of the Gryffindor batsmen were a bit unprofessional, not listening to their captain on the lawn and not doing a good job of warming up before the game, but slipped into the Defence Against the Dark Arts professor's office.
At this moment, a pair of red-haired twins were clubbed at Dracula's desk, staring at their Defence Against the Dark Arts professor reclining in his chair.
"Professor, today is our first Quidditch match of the year, you must go and watch it!" The twins exclaimed.
Dracula glanced up at the sunny weather outside the window, pursed his lips secretly, and casually said:
"I'm not interested in Quidditch, go fight yourselves, come on."
"Professor!" Fred slapped the table anxiously, "Today's game is about your forty Galleons, and Harry, the student who admires you the most, will also appear in this game, are you really not impressed?" β
Dracula looked at Fred's slapping of the table, and the red wine on the desk that was shaken to the edge of the table and almost fell, and raised his hand slightly.
Immediately afterward, Fred floated uncontrollably, all the way to the top of the office, where he hung from a chandelier.
"Intent to damage the Professor's office property, this is the punishment you deserve." Dracula casually picked up the goblet that had moved to the edge of his desk, took a sip of the bright red wine, and said nonchalantly.
George glanced at his good brother hanging from the chandelier, secretly withdrew his hand on the table, and took a step back.
"Professor, are you really that ruthless!" George changed his approach and began to act against Dracula.
He half-knelt in front of Dracula with tears in his eyes, snorting and tearing down his eyes.
"Poor Harry has lived in a mean aunt's house since he was a child, and he has never met his parents, until he arrives in the wizarding world and finally has an adoring professor as an emotional sustenance! No Quidditch match is complete for Harry without you watching! β
The corners of Dracula's mouth twitched slightly, looking at George, who was struggling to sell miserably, and felt that everything had been said to this point, and it seemed too indifferent and ruthless to go again......
"Okay, don't cry anymore, I see that you are acting very hard." He interrupted George's fake crying and said, "I'll be there for the game." β
Hearing Dracula's affirmative reply, George immediately withdrew his sad face and showed a look of surprise. Fred, who hung from the chandelier, also gave him a thumbs up.
However, it is not Dracula's style to admit it like this, and he later adds:
"But George Weasley soiled the floor of the professor's office and should be punished as well."
With that, Dracula hung George on the chandelier as well, side by side with Fred. Two red-haired boys, dressed in golden and red Gryffindor Quidditch uniforms, hang side by side from the ceiling like two identical dolls.
Then Dracula ignored the two living treasures, stretched out a pure black parasol, walked out of his office, and stood in the clear sunlight for the first time in a long time.
The two Weasleys waited until the professor left the office, breathed a sigh of relief, and then winked at each other's eyes.
"Wow, that's thrilling!" George exclaimed, "If it weren't for my wit, this time would have been over!" Why are we messing with Professor Dracula? β
"Don't be stupid, George!" Fred retorted loudly, "Have you forgotten? We spent all our Galleons betting on the big Slytherin dogs! If Harry can't catch the Golden Snitch, we'll have to lose everything. β
Speaking of which, the two were trying to fight as usual, when they suddenly realized that something was wrong.
"Wait, we seem to be in trouble!" George abruptly interrupted Fred's movements.
"What's wrong?" Fred asked with hindsight.
"Wake up, Fred! We're still hanging from the chandelier!! β

In today's Quidditch match, the Gryffindor team was full of confidence.
Because they have a secret weapon - Harry Potter!
After weeks of training, Harry was about to compete in his first game of his life. The match was Gryffindor vs. Slytherin. If Gryffindor wins, they will move up to second place in the House Cup Championship.
As Gryffindor's secret weapon, Wood decided to keep Harry's entry a secret. As a result, almost no one had ever seen Harry play Quidditch.
However, the news that Harry was going to be the Seeker leaked out.
Because of this, worshippers of the Savior came running up to him and told him that he would play well, and old Slytherin rivals told him that they should hold the mattress and run after him to prevent him from falling......
Harry didn't know which was worse, and he didn't know that the leak of the news was also a credit to the Weasley twinsβ
In order to make a bet with the Slytherin dogs, the twins secretly name the savior Harry Potter and announce that Harry will catch the Golden Snitch in his first game and end the match!
The Slytherin students were overjoyed to hear this, and they didn't think a first-year student who had only been training for two months was a secret weapon, and they bet that Harry would fall off the broomstick.
As for the culprits, the Weasley twins didn't rush to the court until just before the game.
The two hung on the chandelier in Dracula's office for a long time, until they remembered the Quidditch match, and it finally occurred to them that they could use the Flying Charm to call the broomstick placed at the door of the office, and then fly down from the chandelier on the broomstick.
Fred and George undoubtedly received a lot of harsh criticism from Wood.
Finally, amid the laughter of the Weasley brothers, the solemn warnings and passionate cheers of Wood, and the cheers of the crowd, Harry followed Fred and George out of the locker room and into the jubilant court.
Quidditch matches are finally about to begin!
