Chapter Twenty-Eight: The Runaway Broom

Dracula stands in a high stand on the edge of the Quidditch pitch with an umbrella.

The expression on his face was a stark contrast to the warm atmosphere of the young wizards around him.

Out of awe for the Defence Against the Dark Arts professor, the young wizards consciously left him plenty of space, and they themselves gathered in the four corners of the stands, shivering.

As the referee, Ms. Huo Qi stood in the center of the court, holding her broomstick in her hand, waiting for the players from both sides to enter the field.

Harry glanced up into the stands, first seeing a banner flying high above the crowd with the words "Potter will win"; Later, I saw Professor Dracula, who was standing alone on a high platform with an umbrella, looking extremely conspicuous.

Dracula nodded to Harry, who was standing on the Quidditch pitch in his golden jersey.

Harry clenched the Halo 2000 in his hand.

The support of his Gryffindor friends, as well as the encouragement from his professor, made his heart jump with joy and he felt that he had the courage to defeat Slytherin!

After a brief speech, Ms. Hodge blew her silver whistle vigorously. The next moment, fifteen flying broomsticks rose into the air at the same time, high into the sky.

The race is on.

Dracula then fell into a state of boredom.

He wasn't very interested in the broomstick-riding wizards flying around in the sky, or the winged flying balls of all kinds. These things were far less fast than his own, and during the game, he did not have the same thrilling feeling as the little wizards experienced, but only found it very boring.

What's more, it's still a sunny day, and it's hard for Dracula to stay in a good mood in such weather.

He looked around at the young wizards around him, watching with interest as they cheered and screamed, and felt the loud voices and vibrations in the stands.

Dracula tried to slip away from the stands several times, but always found Harry, a Gryffindor Seeker, looking for the Golden Snitch with his eyes casually looking at his location, as if expecting his approval.

So in order to live up to the expectations of this little fan, Dracula had to stand still and endure this atmosphere that was not very comfortable for vampires.

Just when he was about to lose the boredom and was about to leave despite the little wizard's expectations, Dracula suddenly found a young wizard in a yellow and black uniform sitting in a group of Hufflepuff badgers, watching the game, and taking out a pen and notebook from time to time to take some notes.

This little wizard named Cedric Diggory has the potential of a vampire aristocracy in his face and temperament, and Dracula admires him.

So he snapped his fingers and conjured up a giant bat. As soon as the bat appeared, it flapped its wings and flew to the next stand, grabbing Cedric.

Cedric was suddenly caught by a huge bat with its claws, and his heart was suddenly shocked.

However, Dracula's Defence Against the Dark Arts lesson was not in vain, and he quickly took his wand out of his pocket, ready to cast a spark spell to send a signal to the professors.

However, the bat quickly threw him into the stands next door and disappeared into thin air.

"Good morning, Mr. Diggory." A familiar voice rang in Cedric's ears.

Dracula made the parasol large and poked it into the ground, enveloping the stands in a place where the sun rarely penetrated.

"Just sit down." He lay down on the bench that he had just conjured up with Transfiguration, pointed to another chair, and said to Cedric without words, "I see you just took some notes, what did you write?" ”

Seeing Dracula, "Hogwarts' most terrible professor", close at hand, Cedric secretly threw a pleading look at his Quidditch teammates.

However, the teammates who were about to lend a hand to rescue Cedric from the claws of the big bat turned their heads when they saw Dracula, acting as if I didn't know Cedric.

Even his prefect, Truman, gave him a helpless look and told him to mourn himself.

"Good morning, Professor." Cedric had to face Professor Dracula alone, and said, "Actually, I'm a Seeker on the Hufflepuff Quidditch team, and I'm now observing the methods that Potter used as a Seeker. ”

"What do you think of Potter's technique?" Dracula then asked boredly.

"Very good, at his age." Cedric approvingly.

At this moment, the owner of the topic they were talking about flew over them in a big turn, and the figures of the two Seekers, one in front of the other and one in the back, were blocked by Dracula's big umbrella, which made Cedric, who was looking at it, anxious.

"Professor, it's a sunny day, do you still need an umbrella?" He couldn't help but ask, "Also, isn't it really cold that you're wearing such a thin wizard's robe in this weather?" ”

"It's not cold." Dracula straightened his red and black cloak and said casually, "Besides, I hate the sun, so it should be normal to put a parasol in the sun, right?" ”

As the chat time increased, Cedric gradually let go of his inhibitions and chatted happily with Dracula.

However, the good times did not last long, and suddenly an unexpected situation appeared on the Quidditch pitch -

High in the sky, Harry's broomstick didn't know when it started, and it behaved extremely abnormally. The broom twitched and writhed wildly, slowly, higher and higher to keep him away from the ring.

"What kind of tactic is this?" Sitting next to Dracula, Cedric looked at Harry with a telescope, wondering what he was doing, "Is it a new type of psychological game to deceive opponents?" ”

Dracula's burgundy pupils twitched slightly, and he looked straight at the scene that was unfolding.

Harry's broomstick began to roll and roll incessantly, barely holding on to it. Suddenly, the broomstick writhed wildly again, and Harry was thrown off by it. He now grabs the broomstick handle with only one hand, hanging in the air.

"Wait, this isn't some Quidditch tactic, there's really something wrong with Potter's broomstick!" Dracula said with a frown.

As he spoke, he immediately turned his gaze to Quirrell in the other stand.

However, things seem to have turned out unexpectedly -

Originally, Dracula thought that Quirrell had already taken refuge in Voldemort, and all his temptations were for the Philosopher's Stone that Voldemort needed, and this time he attacked Harry Potter in order to vent Voldemort's anger.

But while Harry was struggling with his broomstick, the Halo 2000, Quirrell didn't make any unusual moves.

Now, he was enjoying the game with gusto, showing no sign of using spells.
