Chapter 40 Expulsion from the Board of Trustees
"Lucius, maybe you'd like to hear what the person thinks?" Dumbledore glanced at the location by the window and said absent-mindedly.
Seeing Dumbledore's performance, Lucius furrowed his eyebrows.
"Headmaster Dumbledore, you don't seem to care too much about the Defence Against the Dark Arts professor?" He asked, confused.
Lucius remembered that before deciding to convene a school council, he wrote a letter to Dumbledore, asking him to personally expel Dracula. However, Dumbledore's reply politely rejected his "suggestion", and this is the scene where the school board convened today.
"He really doesn't care, and he doesn't need to care about it." At this moment, a mellow and bright voice came from the window.
Lucius was startled and jerked to the window of the conference room.
I saw a man with silver hair and burgundy eyes leaning against the window, with a bright red lollipop in his mouth, looking at the school directors at the round table with interest.
"Who are you, how dare you come and eavesdrop on a school board meeting?!" One of the elderly school directors angrily knocked on the table and asked Dracula.
"Eavesdropping? No, I was here before your meeting began, didn't you tell me about it? Dracula laughed playfully, "Or is the school board's eyesight so bad?" Hogwarts is in your hands, and the four of them won't be at ease with Slytherin, right? β
The old school manager who opened his mouth to question was so angry that he said angrily: "Young man, report your name, I must expel you from Hogwarts!" β
Hearing the word "young man", Dracula raised his eyebrows, and his expression became extremely strange.
"You old man is quite good at talking, I am optimistic about you." He said happily.
The elderly school director didn't understand Dracula's strange words and wanted to continue his attacks, but Draco, who was standing behind Lucius, interrupted him.
"Sir, this is our Defence Against the Dark Arts professor, Professor Dracula." Draco whispered to the old school director.
"So you're the current Defence Against the Dark Arts professor!" The old school director was stunned for a moment, then slapped the table heavily and said loudly, "Just such a guy who doesn't respect the old man, I don't think he can teach the students well." I vote for expulsion! β
He was the first to take the school board badge from his bosom and held it above his head.
Lucius smiled to himself when he saw this, and also took out a badge and held it above his head.
Immediately afterwards, after a little hesitation, four more school managers also raised their respective school management badges one by one and voted in favor.
The passage of school board resolutions is determined by voting.
Each school manager has a school board badge, which connects to the magic nodes of Hogwarts Castle, and each time a vote is successful, a pact is made between the badges. If more than half, i.e. seven or more school trustees, vote in favor, the resolution can be passed.
Such a resolution removes the Principal from appointment.
The Headmaster of Hogwarts has always been a powerful wizard with a high reputation, and the appointment and dismissal of the Headmaster will have a great impact on the entire British wizarding community. Therefore, both the appointment of the principal and the removal of the principal require the unanimous vote of the school board members.
But this vote on whether to expel Dracula is clearly not among them. Six members of the Board of Trustees have voted yes, and if one of the other six members votes yes, Dracula will be expelled from Hogwarts.
It can be said that the position of Dracula's Defence Against the Dark Arts professor has become precarious.
Dracula, however, did not have any sense of crisis. He watched the voting process of the school board, and his original excited expression gradually became uninteresting.
"How can such a simple matter as casting a vote have to be so complicated? And not to mention it's boring. He pouted, "Otherwise, don't vote, it's too troublesome, just expel directly." β
Hearing Dracula's words, Lucius subconsciously looked over and his eyes widened in disbelief.
"You're saying that you yourself agreed that we would expel you?" He asked incredulously, not even noticing that the school director's badge in his hand had poked Draco's face.
Dracula took the blood-flavored lollipop out of his mouth, tilted his head to look at Lucius, and sneered.
"I think you may have misunderstood, Mr. Malfoy." "I meanβI'm going to get rid of the school board!" β

The members of the school board looked at Dracula in confusion, and a very funny feeling came to their hearts, not understanding how this Professor Dracula could say such incoherent words......
"You? Expelled from the school board? Hahahaha......" The old school director couldn't help but laugh, "Today's young people, they just don't know the height of the sky, they always think that they are the boss of everyone, and they make all kinds of jokes!" β
With someone taking the lead, the other members of the school board couldn't help but laugh as they watched Dracula.
Dumbledore sat at the head of the round table, watching Dracula and the school trustees perform with relish, and from time to time he showed a look of pity for the members of the school board. Of course, no member of the school board thought that Dumbledore was taking pity on them, they only thought that he was trying to intercede on Dracula's behalf.
Amid the laughter of the school trustees, Dracula pulls out an old piece of parchment from his pocket - the title deed of Hogwarts.
He poured his vampire magic into the title deed, and the mysterious and obscure symbols on the title deed immediately flowed, and every magical node of Hogwarts jumped on the page.
Dracula compared Lucius to the trustee's badge that Lucius had raised above his head, and soon found a connection to the badge at the magic node at Hogwarts.
The slap in the face always came too quickly, and the school board members couldn't laugh anymore before they finished laughing......
They were trying to form a contract to get Dracula out of Hogwarts through the Board of Governor's Badges in their hands, only to find that all of these Board Badges had lost their magic and all functions at the same time.
"The school manager's badge seems to be broken." Lucius patted his badge heavily, and when he saw that it was indeed useless, he asked Dumbledore, "Headmaster Dumbledore, will you repair the board of directors?" They seem to have suddenly failed. β
Dumbledore looked at him happily and didn't reply, then looked back at Dracula, who was watching the play, and his expression became very expectant.
The next moment, Dracula's voice suddenly rang out.
"The magical connection between the Hogwarts Board of Governors and the Castle has been removed, congratulations, you have been expelled!"
