Chapter 194: Dementors Invade Hogwarts

The sky was turbulent, and the sky in the distance was a white and purple, and a few clouds were drifting, and a thin twilight gradually rose.

The majestic castle stands under a purple sky, and at the top of the main tower is a row of small towers that extend from the middle of the spires on the upper floors of the main tower, which is the headmaster's office at Hogwarts.

The window of the principal's office was open, and the breeze blew in, blowing the candles on several candlesticks slightly.

At some point, a figure suddenly appeared by the window, with silver hair fluttering in the breeze like a flame on a candle.

"You seem to know I'm coming, but you even left a window on purpose?" Dracula chuckled as he looked at Dumbledore, who was sitting behind his desk looking through his papers.

This sounds strange, after all, when others want to receive guests, they always leave a door for them, but for Dracula, it is enough to leave a window to receive him.

Of course, Dumbledore was used to this rather bizarre conversation.

"It's not really, it's just that the weather is nice today, and the windows are open to breathe." He put down the papers in his hand, looked up and quipped to Dracula, "Speaking of which, two weeks ago, I really left you a window for the whole day, and I didn't see Professor Dracula come over as a guest until I caught a cold from the cool breeze of the night."

Dumbledore shook his head, "So I didn't bother to leave you a window later. That is, today I happened to see that the sky was good, so I suddenly wanted to open the window for a while, but I didn't expect you to come at the right time."

Dracula then realized that it had been two weeks since he had gone to "visit" Azkaban.

After leaving Azkaban, he wandered along the path from the island of Azkaban to mainland England, hoping to find some traces of Sirius Black, and maybe if he was lucky, he could take him back to Black's house and give him to Regulus, and then watch a brotherly drama along the way.

Unfortunately, Sirius didn't seem to use much magic along the way, as if he had simply swam back to England by swimming in the flesh, and no trace of magic was found.

Frustrated, Dracula went to Azkaban to abuse the Dementors for a while, and did not return to Hogwarts until the day of the opening dinner.

"Professor Dracula, tell me the truth, did you go to Azkaban two weeks ago?" Dumbledore asked, crossing his hands and staring into Dracula's eyes.

"Hey, you know all this?" Dracula raised an eyebrow nonchalantly, "The news came pretty quickly."

As he spoke, he casually opened one of Dumbledore's drawers and pulled out a handful of blood-smelling lollipops and blood pudding.

His movements are extremely skillful, and he is not embarrassed to take other people's things at all, just like returning to his own home.

"It's been two weeks since this happened, Professor Dracula......" Dumbledore's eyes twitched as he watched his treasure of candy being sold to Dracula Hoho, "and besides, you don't seem to be hiding your intentions at all."

"Two weeks ago, there was a mass protest on the seventh floor of Azkaban prison, accusing the Ministry of Magic of lax supervision and allowing strangers to enter cages and torture prisoners. The Death Eaters there seem to be tormented by the Dementors."

….

"Not only that, but they also gave an accurate description of the person who came—long silver hair, a handsome face, and burgundy eyes...... If I can't deduce that it's you based on this information, then don't do it to me, the headmaster."

Dumbledore rubbed his eyebrows and glanced at Dracula helplessly.

"I thought they were all hard bones who would rather die than give in, but I didn't expect that even a few Dementors couldn't carry it, so I wondered if I should find some other tricks for them." Dracula pursed his lips, clearly unhappy with the Death Eaters' behavior.

"That's not 'a few, Dementors, Professor Dracula.'" The corners of Dumbledore's mouth twitched, "At most, three or four Dementors entered at the same time in other floors, but twenty-seven entered at one time on the seventh floor!" Who can stand up to this?"

Dracula shrugged, noncommittal.

fact

He didn't expect that his casual order to let the Dementors take more care of the seventh layer would be so conscientiously complied with, and he also overfulfilled the task!

"What does the Ministry of Magic think?" Dracula casually asked, "Can they guess that I did this?"

In fact, Dracula doesn't care much about the Ministry of Magic right now. Because he had never been seen in the Ministry's field of vision, few officials knew him as a Defence Against the Dark Arts professor.

In addition, the oral testimony of the prisoners of Azkaban was useless, so even if they were really suspected, few people would really come to him for trouble.

"Fudge refuses to admit that Azkaban has been infiltrated." Dumbledore succinctly explained, "He thinks the prisoners are under the influence of the Dementors and are also suffering from mental problems."

"Sure enough," Dracula scoffed, "it's quite in line with the current Minister of Magic."

Dumbledore smiled and said nothing.

After Fudge's "efforts" in the past two years to get rid of Dumbledore's influence, even the old headmaster with wisdom is difficult to find any reason to whitewash the Minister of Magic......

"Let's not mention the boring ones, I'm here mainly to ask you something." Dracula shoved a piece of blood pudding into his mouth and sat down on the soft couch in the principal's office.

"What do you think...... What is Sirius Blake breaking out of prison for?" He asked softly.

"How could I know about such a thing?" Dumbledore shook his head slightly, "The outside world speculates that he was attacking Harry in order to get Voldemort back."

"But there's a big suspicion here," Dracula said, "that he's been in Azkaban for more than a decade, so why did he escape from prison during this time?" He must have a definite motive for escaping from prison this time, right?"

"Maybe Sirius just can't stand the torture of the Dementors over time?" Dumbledore shrugged, a big smile on his face.

"Headmaster Dumbledore!" Dracula's tone accentuated, "I'm seriously discussing things with you, and you're actually messing with me here? Do you think I'm an idiot like Fudge?"

….

The smile on Dumbledore's face fell, and his face gradually became a little dull.

"Professor Dracula, I don't know where you got the information about Sirius Black, or where you got your doubts about his deeds......" he sighed and whispered, "but in all the information I know, he is indeed a sinner who betrayed his friends and took his refuge with the Death Eaters."

"Tell me about it?" Dracula's expression also calmed down and he said softly.

"It starts with a prophecy," Dumbledore took the half-moon glasses off the bridge of his nose and wiped them slowly, "because of that prophecy, Voldemort chose Harry to be his destined enemy, so he came up with the idea of killing Harry's family early......

Dumbledore's voice was soft, mixed with a surging sadness, telling the story.

「…… Eventually, the Potters chose Sirius to be their secret and made their home in Godric's Hollow, hoping to escape Voldemort's tracking."

"You should already know what happened next, the day they established the secret, and even without any preparation, the address of the safe house was revealed, and Voldemort came to the door that night."

"The story ends with James and Lily being killed, Voldemort taking the form of a geist, and Harry surviving...... After that, Sirius killed one of his best friends, Peter Pediró, and twelve Muggles, and then imprisoned Azkaban for twelve years until he escaped from Azkaban more than two weeks ago."

After the story was told, Dumbledore finally wiped his glasses, put them back on the bridge of his nose, and looked at Dracula in front of him with deep blue eyes.

"Sirius ·

Is Blake such a tasteless person? It shouldn't be......" Dracula frowned.

He couldn't help but think of Sirius's own brother, Regulus Blake.

Even though Regulus went astray under the influence of his parents and joined the ranks of the Death Eaters, he was later able to realize his mistake and part ways with Voldemort.

With great perseverance and action, he stole Voldemort's Horcruxes. He risked his life so that Voldemort would be a mortal of flesh and blood when he met his opponent.

Although Dracula didn't say it, he actually admired Regulus's behavior very much in his heart.

If Regulus, as a younger brother, can be so brave and so affectionate to the house-elves, then Sirius Black, who has been unwilling to go along with the rotten family since he was a child, should have been more affectionate, right?

Why would such a man suddenly betray his friends and switch to Voldemort's side?

"Actually, it's not just you who don't believe it, many of us don't believe that Sirius would betray James." Dumbledore sighed softly, a little lonely.

"The precious friendship between James, Sirius, Remus, and Peter at that time was a unique part of Gryffindor. They were inseparable, they went to class together, ate together, had fun together, played tricks on Severus together, broke school rules together, and were locked up together......

….

Is there something strange mixed in here?' The corners of Dracula's mouth twitched.

Dumbledore continued, "None of us want to believe that these four will be separated one day, let alone that one of them will betray their best friend."

"But we can't believe the truth, because under the effect of the Loyalty Charm, the spell can only be invalidated if the secret person voluntarily states the location of the safe house!"

Dracula nodded slightly, curiosity about Sirius Black even stronger.

And this curiosity is not only the freshness of him as the first wizard to escape Azkaban, but also the curiosity to learn the truth of what happened back then.

"Speaking of which, there is always a name that sounds familiar among those four friends." Dracula propped his chin on two fingers and muttered thoughtfully, "Lamus Lupin, how do you feel like you've seen this name somewhere?"

"Rems?" Dumbledore glanced at Dracula curiously, "It should be the same name, right?" Rems is usually too low-key because of his status."

"I was going to give him a position at Hogwarts this year, so that he could take care of Harry a little more after Sirius escaped from prison, but I didn't get in touch with him."

Dracula frowned, and was about to rummage through his memories when he suddenly felt the sky darken.

He turned, frowning and looking into the distance.

The purple sky had disappeared, and it was raining outside.

The sky outside the window took on a dense gray of a sticky lake, and it gradually deepened, and the distant sky at the end of the black lake had almost become a sticky black like ink.

"It's supposed to be dark yet, right?" Dracula asked, "And even if it was completely dark, how could such a thick cloud suddenly form, and there wasn't even a star left?"

Dumbledore also looked into the distance, opened his mouth, and stopped talking.

"Professor Dracula, it's actually ...... over there. Well, there are some employees sent by the Ministry of Magic to check if Sirius has infiltrated the train the students are on." He explained.

"Employee?" Dracula raised a slight hint of interest, "What kind of employee is so powerful that he can cause changes in the heavens?"

As he spoke, he looked at the sky in the distance, and the glow in his burgundy eyes flowed.

The next moment, Dracula's expression of interest became gloomy.

"Headmaster Dumbledore, is this the employee you're talking about?" He asked coldly, "Headmaster" was pronounced by him very much.

"The order from the Ministry of Magic has been issued, and I have no reason to refute it, even as the headmaster." Dumbledore spread his hands helplessly, "Don't worry, Professor Dracula, Fudge promised me that those Dementors wouldn't disturb the students."

"But this is my territory!" Dracula said heavily, "I'm not a good man like you who would be at the mercy of the Ministry of Magic myself, and there's no way I'm going to allow that disgusting species to invade Hogwarts!"

Without waiting for Dumbledore's reaction, Dracula stepped on the window frame of the Headmaster's office, jumped lightly into the air, spread his wings, and flew straight to the end of the dark lake.

There's a train that's struggling to move forward, slower and slower.

Suddenly, the Hogwarts Express stopped, all the lights went out all of a sudden, and everything on the train fell into complete darkness.

Countless monsters in tattered cloaks surrounded them, flying towards the train with an extremely terrifying aura!
