Chapter 346: Roaring
Glinda struggled, trying to turn around. The ugly, corrupted black iron countenance was only inches away from her face. The sharp teeth tried to bite her nose off. "You're - really- a disgusting brute!" She cursed. Her left arm was broken, as if it had become very weak.
The black palatin—it was hard to discern whether the ugly creature was male or female—sizzled, but the sound stopped with a surprised end as the battle-seasoned dwarven warrior slid her hand under the black palatin guard, her hand forming a powerful stance and striking the short throat they had exposed as they crouched. The dragonman tugged backwards to breathe. Glinda pushed the panting demon with her body, trying to push it away and fall off the ridge.
She stood up and searched for her companions, only to find them all alive. Below, the velociraptors and Ronin had been blocking the guards in a corner below the cliff, but at the same time Elidi seemed to have a little trouble with what she was trying. At least, for Glinda, it was as if it wasn't the same as it used to be.
Suddenly, lightning struck the cavern, and the lightning was so powerful that it shook the black palatins off the rock walls and the dwarves off the ridge. Glinda had never imagined such lightning, and was amazed at how deep underground Grimbaatar could be felt.
But then she realized why she had never heard such thunder before—because it wasn't thunder at all.
Rather, it was a roar.
The time has come, Zendari Windranger has just made a decision, and it's no longer worth my efforts......
He knew of course that his partner was crazy in this situation, but apparently before it came and spread anything, madness seemed like a normal thing in this place called Grimbaatar where birds don't.
He thought he must have been crazy to decide to accept her invitation to study a new source of magical energy in exchange for her spells to help him. Their creation was able to enable him to receive enough energy from a thousand blood elves that would not be possible to gather in a lifetime... Magic and power.
But now was the time for him to begin to implement the plans he had made along the way. The thing in the pit was growing like crazy, and it was close to full maturity. All Zendari needs to do is help it at the last minute...... All while leaving their own imprint on it.
He walked into the hole. Despite his efforts, their creations were hard to identify with the naked eye. This creature radiates a unique energy that the Blood Elves have longed for. However, this meal is best enjoyed another day. Now...... He had to feed it a little more.
Because the sky-blue cube was in another small room, where the Void Dragon had been tied to it. However, the connection between them must be deliberately made public, and in general it was done by Zendari and the Dark Lady. Zendari always hinted that the stolen staff didn't do much under such strict scrutiny.
Of course. He lied.
It's fascinating. He had tricked that draenei into unraveling the mystery of what it was used under another guise. He'd found out that it was for him, and only for him to prevent anyone from taking it from him. If she tried, it would have gone back to its creator, known as the Naru guy. If he had killed the Draenei, it would have happened, if it weren't for the fact that he had mastered the secret of the staff's conjure, a secret that even the Dark Lady couldn't even know from his head.
That's probably the biggest reason why she never really confronted him. Except for her hubris. Zendari knows that he is still an essential part when it comes to spell completion.
But while she longs for all the power, he will also be satisfied with having a portion of the dominion and his eternal hunger satisfied. Zendari leaned towards its edge, pointed the crystal on the staff at what he thought was the core of the beast, Dragonax, the name she often called exaggeratedly, and began to focus.
The astonishing energy possessed by the staff flowed into the abyss. When these energies were touched, they depicted for the first time all the glory of Dragonax.
Zendari was so amazed that he almost forgot that he was paying attention to the matter. The energies were far more powerful than he had ever imagined! Of course she hadn't even looked at the thing they had forged in its entirety. This made the Blood Elves even more eager to laugh.
As he poured more power into the beast, he used it to awaken the cube, awaken it and then order it to take all the energy that could come out of the imprisoned dragon, and inject it into Dragonax's body.
As two magical beams of light poured into the creature's essence, it suddenly let out a loud roar. It shook the whole of Grimbaatar.
However, the quest for more powerful magic and the desire for the reward of betrayal made the blood elf laugh. He is now in control of the situation.
He is the master of a qiē......
But as Zendari continued the betrayer's behavior, he didn't notice the back of a figure who quietly left the cave for others. Sinestra stared at the blood elf and waited for him to admit his betrayal.
She smiled with satisfaction as he struggled to get all her belongings to herself, carefully placing them in various positions. When Sinistra was sure that there was no turning back, she retreated into the shadows and vanished.
All of them were as planned by the Deathwing Spouses, and all that was left was the question of Clay Ostraz. But that's an easy problem to solve......
The other guy who heard the roar was terrified of what it meant, especially when the sound no longer echoed in his head. Karek struggled to search for the presence of Dragonax, but not because he wanted the creature to stay with him.
Compared with. Now that he seems to be free, Blue Dragon has his own things to solve. Of course, he didn't go directly to the missing Claostraz, but if Karek and the red dragon passed by, he would definitely not pretend not to see it.
But Karek still had the idea of protecting him. He didn't trust many of the proposals that Claiostraz had proposed. Although he also had to admit that the red dragon would prefer to choose one of those options at the cost of his own life.
It was something he had never believed in before, but that hadn't changed until now. Karek always treats Clyostraz as a behind-the-scenes manipulator, believing that his ruthlessness is even similar to Deathwing's in some way.
No...... He's not Deathwing, Blue Dragon thought with some guilt. But he's not me either...... Karek would never let his friends or his beloved take risks, never.
He has been on a route that he cannot know. It wasn't the one he had started at the direction of Dragonax. Instead, the blue dragon felt as if someone was calling him, and then suddenly stopped. But. Karek didn't think he would be able to ignore the clue.
He went deeper and deeper. He's close, very close to something.
He thought that the movement of something in the depths of the shadows caught his eye. The blue dragon cautiously turned around and faced in that direction. (To be continued.) )
