Chapter 347: It's Too Late
A blue light burst out from his nothing-owned hand. In this light, the young dragon saw only the rock wall.
After scolding himself for being overly nervous, Karek continued walking. He wanted to be able to find what he was looking for, any of them.
Then, a golden light radiated from some distant spot ahead. Karek gripped his magic sword tightly. As he got closer, he noticed that there were some small caves.
The golden glow reminded him of the past he had tried so hard to forget. Anvina's face appeared before his eyes, beautiful and innocent. She had touched his heart—no one but she had ever done it. However...... She's gone.
His old hatred of the red dragon has not been extinguished, and a new hatred has been added. It was Clay Ostraz - disguised as a mage named Borrell - that caused Anvina's pain. It was because of the Red Dragon's mistake that Karek lost her forever. It's because--
He walked into the small cavern and saw that Cleostraz's mage form, Crassus, was being guided by a High Elf to a strangely broken crystal.
Immediately filled with rage, Karek let out a roar and charged towards the red dragon.
Both Clyostraz and the High Elf were looking in his direction at the same time. The High Elf—a Ranger—let go of the Red Dragon Mage and moved, standing between Karek and him.
Blue Dragon didn't quarrel with her. It is clear that she was also deceived by Claist Ostraz into believing that his Crassus's humanoid disguise was a trustworthy friend rather than an insidious, aloof machine. Karek gestured, albeit suddenly, cursing at a hint of weakness as his spell bound the High Elves to the wall, locking her hands and feet with rocks. She could only stay there until he finished out his opponent.
"Karek!" Cleostraz began to say, "You're still alive! I thought—" The blue dragon suddenly began to get angry at him.
"Karek, listen to me! there's something wrong with you—"
But Karek was careful. He will not let the language of the cunning red dragon penetrate his heart. Grinding his teeth, he swung his weapon at the hooded wizard.
However, his sword was blocked by an orange-red sword that shone from his opponent's hand in the same shape as the one that Karek had.
The two weapons fought back and forth, and the blue dragon attacked more. Within a minute, Karek decided that Clyostraz's hesitation to attack was nothing more than a ploy. He had to knock out the old guy. Before he was able to exert any means of influencing the situation.
"Karek, this is not your own mind! Another person has taken control of you! Come here, let's stare at this ugly thing and think about it!"
Whether he couldn't help himself or not, the blue dragon did take a breath to look at the thing that Clyostraz had mentioned. In that moment, he saw the glowing orb with strange cracks. Fragments of it were scattered everywhere, but some unknown force held it together.
What's even more surprising is. This power seems to be the source of a strange beating rhythm. When the magic swords of Karek and Claostraz collided together, the tremendous energy released made the beating rhythm more pronounced.
Although he saw that there seemed to be a connection between the movements, Karek assumed that there was only one source for all of them...... It's the hooded guy in front of him.
"You're still the same master of trickery as always!" He growled, "But not a master magician......"
Karek's blade was about to hit the opponent again, but suddenly spun around like a tentacle. It wrapped its arms around Clyostraz and lit up.
With a shout, the red dragon summoned its own weapon, but it dissipated on its own.
The young blue dragon struggled to pull Clyostraz towards him. In his other hand, another weapon was ready.
But the stone at Karek's feet seemed to suddenly come to life, and huge vines grew out of the cracks in the stone and tangled around his feet. Although he cut some of them, he eventually lost his balance.
Both fell to the ground. Cleostraz grabbed the young blue dragon's arm, "Listen to me! We're being toyed with! It was Sinestella who got us to this place she designed to increase her strength! Don't you notice that you're weaker now? Have you forgotten the pain our people endured when they fought against Grimbaatar's guards? The source of that pain is right next to us. That reborn, redesigned evil item is undoubtedly the Demon Souls!"
The other of Karek remembered some of what the other dragons had said, but that wasn't enough to dispel the intense anger and distrust he had towards Clyostraz. "Put away your lies, what you're saying is just a trap like the other mages!"
With each minute passed, Karek grew weaker. But his unquenchable anger kept him fighting. He's not going to lose to Clais Ostraz!
This blue dragon has all its magic in one spell. It doesn't include any complicated magic, but it just so happens that when it crashes into Clyostraz, the end result won't be any surprises.
The masked mage had a pale and distorted face, and he knew very well what his young foes were doing. Clay Ostraz's frustration made Karek even happier. In the blue dragon's heart, Avena was smiling at his impending victory.
Karek responded to her smile, completely ignoring Clais Ostraz's plea.
"For you, Anvina......" he whispered.
The blue dragon released a qiē.
Grimbaator shook again. Dwarves, black-palate monsters. Dragon's Egg Caretaker...... It's thrown around like a doll. Great pain!Zzeraku suddenly roared in that draenei's brain. This pain almost tore me in half!
"What's going on?" Elidy shouted at the dragon.
"Go on!" Ronin yelled, thinking she was talking to him. "Continue—"
But his voice drowned back when the Void Dragon suddenly glowed. Zzerakul's body blurred for a moment. The agony beast let out a terrible groan.
This pain, I am being devoured!
Be brave!, the priestess sued Sùzzelaku. Be brave!, her words. Her power put an end to his suffering. Zzeraku stared at her. Why are you doing this to me? After all this has happened, this draenei still loves something like me.
Elidy was determined. I do this because you don't deserve it......
I- Isn't I?
Then, somewhere, another terrifying roar that made everyone tremble in their bones came from afar. Even the velociraptors were curled up by the force. "I had a bad feeling that we might be too late. Ronin said. (To be continued.) If you like this work, you are welcome to come to the Biquge www.biquge.info (qidian.com) to vote for recommendation, monthly pass, and your support.
