Chapter 243: Violet Castle
Sahira's pale face contorted, her head falling back, her black hair enveloping her like a shroud. The air in her fee was forcefully pushed out. Antonidas watched as the increasing force crushed her sternum, and there was a crackling sound.
"Sahira!
Antonidas turned to look at Prince Kael'thas as he watched his friend and colleague die, his handsome face contorted with anger. The elven prince raised and parted his hands, and one of the Death Knight in the room began to scream in pain, his limbs ripped off one by one, separated from his torso. The astonishing sight restored Antonidas' senses.
"Kael'thas!" He yelled at the commotion, struggling to his feet. "Kael'thas!" Just as Antonidas tried to stand up for the second time, the elven prince turned and looked at Antonidas with his stunning eyes.
"Don't let them teleport!" Antonidas shouted, unfurling his magic shield with one hand to block the \no\wrong\. An arrow of death came towards him. The elf shook his head to clear his head, then nodded. He looked at the intruders with those angry eyes, moving his hands to cast spells.
∏ leader yelled, "Death Knights, come to me!" He held aloft the Eye of Dalaran in his hand. The remaining few men complied with his instructions and formed a circle with their backs to the leader to protect him and their loot. Just as Kael'thas was nearing the end of his incantation, the shadow above the intruder rolled again, this time a slight purple hue from the glow of the Eye of Dalaran. The Death Knights' silhouettes began to blur. They escaped with this amount of time alone. Kael'thas cursed in Elven language.
The prey is gone - but they will be followed. And trapped in the second place where they appeared. Antonidas cast a teleportation spell. He changed it slightly. So that he can teleport to the same place as the Death Knights. For a moment, Antonidas found himself standing on a wide terrace. He remembered that it was one of the upper floors of Violet Castle. The Death Knights gathered aside, their leader standing proudly in the middle, chainmail clutching the Violet Eye in his hands. Crassus, Kael'thas, and a few others followed.
This time, Kael'thas and Antonidas were prepared. Spells were ready in their hearts and mouths, and they succeeded. The Death Knight turned to Antonidas and stared at him fiercely. And the ** teacher smiled softly.
"You're going to be fast in the treasure room. But here we are more rapid. This terrace shields you from teleportation spells, and you have nowhere to run. Antonidas shouted, looking at the leader of the Death Knights. Now they can capture the Death Knights, or kill them, leaving only one for questioning, so they can better understand the new clan leader and their new plans.
"Maybe yes. The leader said softly. "But if we can fly away, why run away?"
⊥ as he said this, a gust of wind blew behind him, across the entire terrace, making Antonidas unsteady on his feet. A rustling sound followed. The sound grew louder, and then darkness descended to the side of the terrace. The shadow then took on several long, soft shapes. They hovered over the balans of the terrace, their eyes staring ahead at their blackened faces. Antonidas could almost feel his heartbeat, and his clothes were quickly soaked with sweat.
"Ignorant human, do you really think we're coming alone?" The leader of the Death Knight laughed. The dragon that Antonidas had ever seen in his life was flying towards the terrace until its spiky face hit the handrail. ...
Antonidas saw that Crassus's face was gradually turning pale, and he whispered the name of the black dragon in his mouth: "Deathwing." ”
When he heard his name called, the mighty black dragon turned his head and finally stared at Crassus. The mage didn't flinch because the black dragon was watching him, but Antonidas shook and looked uneasy.
Deathwing?
The Death Knight stepped onto the armrest and sat on Deathwing's back. "I've got what I wanted. Let's go!"
Antonidas suddenly relented, and he hurled a lightning bolt at the Death Knights, but they protected him. Teleportation didn't solve the problem - they were moving too fast, and they were very close to each other. Kael'thas and the other mages shook their heads. There's no way they're going to be able to hit those Death Knights without hitting the dragons. If these black dragons are provoked, there is a good chance that they will set the entire Violet Castle on fire.
As if to put an end to the threat, two black dragons on Deathwing's flanks suddenly flew close and opened their mouths. The mages had no choice but to unfurl their flame shields. At that moment, red and gold lava erupted from their gaping mouths, igniting the curtains and scrolls on the terrace and in the rooms behind. Antonidas cursed as he watched as the other Death Knights climbed onto the dragon's back and took off into the air, out of sight. He knew that powerful creatures could directly break through the protective barriers he had set up—which he had never built to protect against dragons.
Antonidas's heart was filled with loss. He and the rest of Kenrito were tasked with protecting the city and the people who lived there, but he failed tonight. In the past, he always said that every mage should know his limits, and tonight, Antonidas finally knew his limits. He stared at the stars, searching for traces of intruders, but they were all long gone, taking with him the Eye of Dalaran, one of the most powerful artifacts in the City of Mages.
I got what I wanted. That's what the Death Knight said.
Antonidas knows. But the question is, why? (To be continued......)
