Chapter Seventy-Three: The European Expedition (Part II)

"You can't be so lucky forever, Potter! I'll tell my mom everything! โ€

Dudley ran towards his home while not forgetting to speak harshly of Harry Potter.

Harry was even more surprised, not that he was afraid that Dudley would make a small report in front of his aunt, but that Dudley had really opened his mind, and without Peel, Moken, Gordon and other followers behind him, this cousin with a pig's head and a pig's brain was suddenly much smarter.

Dudley could actually see that Luo Cheng would come to help him! If it had been before, Dudley wouldn't have beaten himself up regardless of the occasion, and he wouldn't have cared if anyone else was there - in fact, Dudley would have played harder with other people watching.

"Looks like you're in some trouble, Harry."

Luo Cheng walked up to Harry Potter with ease, "Need help?" โ€

"I'm used to it, Professor."

Harry shrugged his shoulders helplessly, "The Dursleys have always treated me so badly, I can't expect them to treat me better. โ€

Hedwig let out a disgruntled cry in the cage, which reminded Harry.

"Well, Professor, I really need your help with something, Hedwig......"

He told Luo Cheng the reason for the incident.

"I seeโ€”of course, I don't have any pets at home, so it's nice to have multiple owls with me. As for staying at my house a little longer, I don't mind, but I have a guest there today, and you may not really want to meet him. โ€

"Who's that?"

"It's Professor Snape."

Harry frowned, if he wanted to see Professor Snape, he would rather stay at the Dursleys.

"Hedwig, then, please, Professor."

"No problem, don't worry."

Luo Cheng took the cage where Hedwig was placed, because the cage was covered with a black cloth, Hedwig didn't know that the person carrying him had been replaced, and he was still chirping to himself.

Luo Cheng didn't lie to Harry Potter, he did make an appointment with Snape to meet today. And if he's not mistaken, Harry would come across a house-elf who did bad things out of good intentions.

Because of Dudley's complaint, Aunt Petunia realizes that Harry may not be able to perform magic outside of school, so she is relieved to hit him with a soapy frying pan, but luckily he is able to hide quickly. Vernon dissuaded Aunt Petunia from continuing her seizures, Vernon was a careful man who didn't want to risk growing a pig's tail until he found clear evidence.

So Aunt Petunia told Harry to go to work and not eat until he was done. Dudley ate ice cream and dangled as Harry cleaned the windows, washed the car, trimmed the lawn, tidied the flower beds, watered the rose prunings, and repainted the garden benches.

It wasn't until half past seven in the evening that he finally heard Aunt Petunia call out to him, and he was exhausted.

"Come in! Eat fast! Mr. and Mrs. Mason are coming!" Aunt Penny said sternly, pointing to two pieces of bread and a pile of cheese on the kitchen table.

Harry washed his hands and hurriedly swallowed his pitiful supper. As soon as he finished eating, Aunt Petunia took the plate away.

"Go upstairs! Hurry!"

Passing the door of the living room, Harry glanced at Uncle Vernon and Dudley in their gowns and bow ties.

No sooner had he reached the upper floors when the doorbell rang and Uncle Vernon's fierce face appeared at the bottom of the stairs.

"Remember, Potter! You have to make a little noise! You know the consequences! โ€

Vernon gestured his fist and went to the door to greet him.

Harry tiptoed to his bedroom door, slipped in, closed the door, and turned to fall headlong on his bed. But the problem is that there is already a person sitting on his bed.
