Chapter Seventy-Four: I'm All for Your Good!

Harry barely screamed.

The little monster on the bed had two big bat-like ears and a pair of protruding green eyes the size of a tennis ball.

Harry immediately thought that this was the big eyes that looked at him outside the garden hedge in the morning.

They stared at each other, and Harry heard Dudley's voice coming from the foyer.

"Shall I carry the clothes for you, Mr. and Mrs. Mason?"

The monster slipped off the bed and bowed deeply, its slender nose touching the carpet.

Harry noticed that he was wearing what looked like an old pillowcase, with several holes in his arms and legs, but patches were sewn on.

"Oh—hello." Harry said unnaturally.

"Harry Potter!" The monster screamed.

"Dobby has always wanted to see you, sir! What an honor! ”

"Thanks—thank you."

Harry moved against the wall and sat down in the chair in front of his desk.

"Who are you?"

"Dobby, sir. It's called Dobby, the house-elf Dobby. The monster said.

"Is there any particular reason you're here?"

Harry always felt that it was not a good thing for the little monster to come to him, he didn't know what a house-elf was, and the little monster spoke in a high-pitched and high-pitched voice, and Harry was worried that the Dursleys would hear it.

"Oh, yes, sir,"

Dobby said eagerly, "Dobby is here to tell you that Harry Potter can't go back to Hogwarts." ”

"Tithe?" Harry was taken aback, "But I have to go back - school starts on the first of September, it's my hope for life." You don't know what kind of life I'm having here. I don't belong here. I belong to your world—to Hogwarts. ”

"No, no, no!"

Dobby screamed, shaking his head vigorously and flicking his ears with a clatter.

"Harry Potter must stay in a safe place. If Harry Potter were to return to Hogwarts, his life would be in danger. ”

"Why?" Harry asked, surprised.

"There's a conspiracy, Harry Potter. The scariest thing is going to happen at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry this year. ”

Dobby lowered his voice and suddenly shuddered, "Dobby has known about this for months, sir. Harry Potter can't go on adventures. He's so important, sir!"

"What horrible thing?" Harry immediately asked, "Who's planning?" ”

"I can't say, Harry Potter, Dobby was allowed to remind Harry Potter, but the little master told Dobby not to say it."

"Little master? Who is your little master? Is it Ron? ”

Harry Potter thought about it for a long time, and felt that he was just such a friend from the wizarding family in the true sense of the word.

"No, Harry Potter, the little master won't allow Dobby to reveal his identity."

Harry Potter was a little annoyed, what does this little monster mean?

"That's it!"

Harry cried out, "I don't know who sent you, but no one can stop me from returning to Hogwarts when school starts!" ”

"Dobby doesn't think there's a need for Harry Potter to return to Hogwarts, and no friends at Hogwarts will write to Harry Potter."

Dobby said slyly.

"I guess it's—"

Harry was about to defend his friend habitually, but he quickly reacted.

"You intercepted my letter?"

Dobby obviously didn't expect Harry to be so quick, so he paused for a moment and pulled out a thick stack of envelopes from the pillowcase he was wearing. Harry recognized Ron's handwriting, even a scribbled handwriting, as if it had been written by Hagrid, the Hogwarts hunting groundsman. Dobby blinked anxiously and looked up at Harry.

"Don't be angry Harry Potter, Dobby originally hoped that if Harry Potter thought his friends had forgotten him, Harry Potter might not want to go back to school, sir!"

Harry didn't have the heart to do so, and reached out to grab the letter, but Dobby jumped and dodged away.

"Harry Potter had to promise Dobby that he wouldn't return to Hogwarts. Oh, sir, you must not take such a risk! Say you won't go back, sir! ”

"No," said Harry angrily, "give me my friend's letter!"

"Sobby has no other choice." The elf said sadly. "Dobby is all for Harry Potter!"

Before Harry could react, Dobby had already rushed to the door, pulled it open, and ran down to hug him quickly.

"Not good! This little monster is trying to mess up the Dursleys' welcome dinner and blame me! ”
