Chapter 21: Moody Ghosts
Back in the common room, Harry and Ron find the Weasley twins, who had been quiet for a few days, back alive.
"Ladies and gentlemen!"
"Welcome to the first product launch event at Weasley's Trick Workshop."
George and Fred stand on a platform made of four tables, loudly announcing the return of the prank duo.
"And what new stuff did you bring with you?" Ron saw a black wizard with dreadlocks in the audience asking serious questions.
Ron recognized it as George and Fred's roommate, Lee Jordan, who was pulled over by those two men.
"Good question!"
"It's a pity that I'm not a professor at school, so I can't give you extra points."
"Look at this."
George held up a crystal ball with his hand.
"This is no ordinary crystal ball, this is a recording ball."
"It can record the sound you want to leave behind."
"But there's a lot of this thing in Diagon Alley, so why buy yours?" Lee Jordan played a role that he should have played.
"Of course, there is a huge gap between the Weasley-produced recording ball and the recording ball in the world."
"We used the most powerful memory core we know, and this recording ball has a capacity of three hundred novels."
"In other words, this recording ball can record two hundred of Professor Binns's boring history of magic lessons."
"Think about it, you can go a semester without listening to lectures, just record with a recording ball, and listen to it with a recording ball before the final exam."
"Finally, we added a sleep function to the recorder......"
Students throughout the lounge crowded around George and Fred to listen to them show off their first formal alchemical work. Only Hermione was hiding in the corner, alone looking at a thick book. Even though her roommates, Patil and Lavender, walked past Hermione, she didn't say hello.
Ron said to Harry, a little uncomfortably, "Harry, you say, Hermione won't have no friends, right?" ”
Harry nodded, "With her character, I think so." Harry took out the two-way mirror that Calvin had given him from his pocket, "I think Hermione should look into this mirror too, so she can understand what is wrong with her." Ron nodded noncommittally.
Harry looked at the two-way mirror, but didn't dare to look at the back, and looked up at the Weasley twins in the distance. Percy emerges from the dormitory, takes the twins who caused the riot, and drives away the gathered crowd.
"Ron, I suddenly want to learn alchemy." Harry put the two-way mirror away.
"Then you go to Professor Capet, I think he's good." Ron said with a grin.
Harry hesitated for a moment, then voiced his concern: "But every time Professor Capet sees me, it's weird, he seems to be staring at me all the time...... Eye. ”
"What's this," Ron didn't care, "maybe your eyes resemble one of his friends." My family often said that my eyes were like those of Aunt Muriel. ”
Harry decided not to make any hasty contact with Professor Capet.
……
Calvin made his way to the tower alone, and soon he found his old friend.
"I'm still looking there after all these years." Calvin stood by the window, following the gaze of Barrow the Bloody into the distance. This is his old friend, who is more than a thousand years old.
In first year, Barrow was one of the few Slytherin creatures willing to talk to Calvin. He was a student of Salazar Slytherin, one of the Big Four, and knew a lot of magical knowledge and hidden histories that no one else could reach. From him, Calvin learned Occlumency, Celestial Telekinesis, and some techniques for brewing potions.
Barrow's godless eyes regained their brilliance, and the moonlight shone on his silvery-white bloodstains, making him look like a real person.
"Ah, Calvin." Barrow greeted in a hoarse voice, "We haven't seen each other in years. Sorry, I've been around for too long and am very insensitive to time. ”
"Thirteen years."
"Well, it's been thirteen years since you left. You know, I have to look there, and that's what I'm here for. Barrow replied to Calvin in a hollow voice.
"Slytherin people are really alike, you're not the first Slytherin I've met so infatuated."
Barrow didn't want to dwell on Calvin anymore: "What did you come to me for, I would have taught you everything thirteen years ago." ”
"I'm here to inquire about something, do you know that there is a room for requirement?" Calvin asked sincerely.
Who knew that Barrow was silent for a while, neither saying that he knew nor that he didn't know, but instead gave Calvin an unexpected answer: "Calvin, did you do it on purpose?" ”
"What?" Calvin was confused, he didn't know what Barrow meant, and just wanted to continue asking, but the bloody Barrow gradually disappeared and disappeared.
"Calvin, I thought we were friends, don't you think I'm guilty enough?"
Barrow's voice echoed through the empty tower.
Calvin sighed, he had thought that he could ask the Slytherin ghost about the location of the Requirement House, but he didn't expect the bloody Barrow to be angry. Do you really have to figure out the whole Hogwarts castle on your own?
Which of his words provoked Barrow.
Wait, calm down. Calvin thought back to the conversation he had just had, and although he didn't know the exact location of the Room of Requirement directly from Barrow, his words had already revealed a lot of clues.
Barrow's sins, Barrow's sins.
He killed his lover and ended his life with the same murder weapon.
Barrow has always remorseed his actions and is forever wearing a pair of shackles as a confession.
Barrow's sin is licking a dog.
Calvin suddenly thought of Snape. The expression of atonement and remorse for his beloved, Calvin also saw it in Snape, if one day, Professor Snape unfortunately died, would he not want to leave the world of the living, and choose to stay in the way of ghosts?
That's not the point of Calvin's consideration, he leaves the Astronomy Tower, and if he's lucky, he'll find Barrow's lover tonight, Lady Gray.
Luckily, before midnight, Calvin met the tall, good-looking, but unsightly Ravenclaw ghost, Ms. Gray.
"Ms. Gray," Calvin greeted her politely, showing the demeanor of a gentleman.
But Miss Gray merely lowered her head, glanced at him with vacant eyes, and hurried away.
Calvin smiled wryly, ghosts are such a difficult group of guys.
"Ms. Gray, I need your help." Calvin pleaded again.
The cold ghost ignored his plea and floated away.
