Chapter 121: Tense atmosphere

"What?" Calvin stood up and asked incredulously, "Basida, it's still half a month before April Fool's Day, and you wouldn't be referring to the mirror that holds Voldemort's soul."

Basida didn't seem to believe this fact, but she nodded with difficulty, "Yes... I put it on my desk, just went to a class, and when I came back, it was gone."

"Oh my God," Calvin felt a chill run down his spine to his brain, "don't you have any burglar protection?" You just have this dangerous thing on the table?"

Basida had nothing to say, and finally gritted her teeth and said, "I thought Hogwarts was safe, but who knew that a thief could sneak in."

"Forget it, there's no point in arguing about this now. You immediately go to Mr. Nicol and see if he can tell who stole the mirror and where it is now? I'll have to go and talk to Headmaster Dumbledore that there's probably a Death Eater in the castle." Calvin said with a pinching of his eyebrows. He had to make arrangements as soon as possible, and it was dangerous for Voldemort to get out of control.

"Okay, I'll go." Knowing that she was wrong, Bascida did not dare to delay for a minute, and hurriedly left the office to find Nicol Lemay.

Calvin sat down at his desk and pulled out a note that read, "Dumbledore, Voldemort has been stolen." He then summoned his White Tiger Patronus and asked him to carry the note to the principal's office.

This time Dumbledore was very fast, and in no more than five minutes, Fawkes brought Dumbledore's reply, and the note only wrote two words: "Chocolate Frog."

Calvin put on his trench coat and immediately went to the headmaster's office, but as soon as Calvin sat down, Snape followed him in.

"Cape?" Snape squinted at him, "Why are you here?"

"Severus!" Before Calvin could speak, Dumbledore spoke first, "Has your Dark Mark reacted lately?"

Snape hesitated, and instead of answering Dumbledore's question, he hid his left hand behind him and looked at Calvin hesitantly.

"Don't worry, Calvin won't say it." Dumbledore vouched for Calvin.

Snape walked over to Dumbledore's desk, stretched out his left arm, glanced at Calvin, and finally lifted the sleeve of his left arm.

A tattoo of a skull spitting out a python is identical to the one on Lucius' left arm.

"Do you have one too?" Calvin asked himself in his mind. He knew that Snape was obsessed with dark arts during his year at Hogwarts, but he didn't expect Snape to actually join the Death Eaters.

"It's been a long time since he's reacted," Snape said in his usual emotionless voice, "he should have been half-dead all the time."

Calvin could tell Dumbledore was relieved.

"It doesn't look like it's getting to the worst yet." Dumbledore said.

"So what's going on?" Snape didn't understand what the two of them were talking about, "I remember you told me that the mystery man possessed Quirrell and had been solved by Capet."

"Let me explain," Calvin said helplessly, "After I killed Quirrell, I used alchemy to make a mirror and capture Voldemort's soul in order to continue my research on the soul."

"Then I lent this mirror to Professor Barblin, and just a quarter of an hour ago she told me that the mirror had been stolen."

Snape was dumbfounded when he heard this, whether it was the capture of Voldemort's soul or the theft of the mirror that imprisoned the soul, it made Snape unbelievable for a while.

It took a moment for Snape to tremble his lips and say, "Stupid and greedy. Capet, why don't you destroy the mysterious man as soon as you capture him? And you still think about the study of the soul, don't you know that it's taboo?"

"I don't think it's useful to argue here, Severus," Dumbledore quickly stopped Snape's anger, "now we should first find out where that mirror is."

"Is that still a guess?" Snape sneered, "It's not the last time in school

A Death Eater from prison?"

Calvin frowned and retorted coldly, "Severus Snape, you should have thought before you spoke. We're talking about something very dangerous, don't let personal emotions cloud your judgment."

Snape snorted disdainfully and looked directly at Dumbledore, "And what do you think, Albus?"

Dumbledore was also in trouble at this time, and he had always been the most cautious of Sirius's attitude.

On the day of the Ministry of Magic's trial, Dumbledore didn't really want to vote not guilty, but he eventually raised his hand to show his determination against the Death Eaters.

Later, Dumbledore invited Blake to be the Defence Against the Dark Arts professor, more for the purpose of spying on him and making sure he was not really a Death Eater.

It wasn't until Dumbledore witnessed Sirius' reunion with Harry's father and son in Hagrid's cottage that his concerns about Sirius were dispelled.

But now, the mirror containing Voldemort's soul has been stolen, and Dumbledore is not sure if it has anything to do with Sirius.

"I don't think Sirius would have done that," Dumbledore said softly, "He's been on Harry lately, and his feelings for Harry don't seem to be fake."

"No one thought he was leaking secrets before he was arrested," Snape said with a mocking expression, "Potter and his relationship don't seem to be fake, and he didn't betray him in the end."

"That's enough, Snape," Calvin said aloud, standing up, "you're in no position to blame Blake after ten years of teaching at Hogwarts.

If you really cared about Lily, you should have stayed away from the dark magic in the first place, instead of blaming someone who almost gave her life for it after she died."

Snape listened to Calvin's words, his expression was dull, he subconsciously took out his wand and aimed it at Calvin, and muttered to himself, "You shut up for me!"

"Now you have the courage to pull out your wand?" Calvin continued to fire, "Why didn't you aim your wand at Voldemort in the first place?"

"All right, gentlemen," Dumbledore hadn't expected the two to fight in his office, "now is not the time for you to quarrel."

Snape let out a "grunt" and put his wand away. Calvin twisted his face to the side, not wanting to speak to Snape.

Dumbledore looked at Calvin and said helplessly, "Calvin, in the battle with Voldemort, Severus experienced no less danger and sacrifice than Blake, I can guarantee that."
