Chapter 122: He's Loyal to Lily

"It seems that I am inferior to you," Calvin said in a strange manner, "and the guarantee I made to Sirius was that some people would not believe me."

Snape was about to say a few words in return, when Bassida ran into the Headmaster's office.

"I, I've got it," Bassida clutched a note in her hand, "Nicol Lemay's prophecy."

Calvin perked up and hurriedly asked, "What did Mr. Nicol say?"

Dumbledore strode up to Bascida and took the parchment. Calvin followed, and Snape, though reluctantly, stuck his head out.

Dumbledore slowly read the prophecy on the parchment:

"The rat that lives in the shadows will eventually bring back the darkness that belongs to his master. The vessel of death has returned to the place where it was born."

"Oh, I think it's obvious that the answer," Snape said with a little pleasure, "isn't the rat living in the shadows talking about Blake, who is struggling to survive in Azkaban?"

Calvin said in an almost icy tone, "Snape, if you want to find someone to fight with, I don't mind being your sparring partner, you don't have to keep an eye on Sirius."

"Do you think I'm going to be afraid of you, Cape?" Snape was for tat and did not fall behind.

Bassida looked at the two in surprise, she didn't know why the two of them, who had a good relationship, were like enemies today.

Dumbledore separated the two again, "Gentlemen, watch the occasion."

Calvin and Snape looked at each other, then turned away from each other.

"What do you think of this prophecy?" Dumbledore raised the parchment in his hand and placed it on the table.

"I don't know, but my experience has taught me that it's best not to interpret prophecy randomly. But, Professor Capet," Basida looked at Calvin, whose face was cold, "this vessel of death has returned to the place where it was born, and the Silver Mirror is already with you."

"No way," Calvin said stiffly, "I have better security against theft than you both, there's no way someone would enter my office without me knowing and leave the silver mirror behind."

"You two?" Dumbledore looked at Snape, who was holding his hooked nose and refused to bow his head, "You lost something too?"

"Some of my private collections," Snape didn't want to say more, "African tree snake skin fragments and bicornus horn powder."

"Oh," Dumbledore looked down and thought for a moment, "there aren't many potions that can be made from these two materials, but there are quite a few, such as mana amplification potions, Carapock liquid, andβ€”"

The other three in the office said the answer together, "Polyjuice Potion."

Dumbledore's eyes were as sharp as a sword, and he stared at Calvin and said, "Calvin, are you sure that the one you took from the Ministry of Magic is really Sirius?"

As soon as he thought of the potion of compound decoction, Calvin also had a trace of doubt in his heart, he absolutely believed that Sirius would not do such a thing, but now he had to admit that at least the recent theft of eucalyptus in the castle had something to do with him.

Calvin frowned and said, "Tonight, I'll go talk to Sirius, and if I'm really wrong, I'll catch him with my own hands."

Calvin didn't lie in vain, if it was really discovered that someone had used Polyjuice Potion to impersonate Sirius, it would be absolutely intolerable for Calvin, and he would give that person a punishment a hundred times more terrifying than the Dementors in Azkaban.

Dumbledore nodded slowly, "I believe in you, Calvin."

Snape said disdainfully, "You asked Capet to investigate? He's so good that Blake can wear a pair of pants."

"Alright, Severus," Dumbledore waved his hand, "I'm sure Calvin wouldn't be favoritistic in such a thing."

Snape snorted coldly and walked up to Calvin, his big hooked nose almost touching the tip of Calvin's nose. The two looked at each other like this.

"You'd better not." Snape gritted his teeth, then turned to leave

to the principal's office.

Calvin and Bassida watched Snape leave, and then Calvin asked, "Headmaster Dumbledore, about Snape's Dark Mark of the Devil."

"Rest assured, Severus has no loyalty to Voldemort." Dumbledore winked at Calvin.

"No, I mean, why don't you remove the Dark Mark for him, I don't think it's too hard for you." Calvin asked, frowning.

Dumbledore glanced at Bascida next to him and said, "Professor Barbling, could you please leave first?"

"Yes," Bassida, still remorseful to herself, walked out of the office with a pair of long legs, and when she walked to the door, she suddenly turned to Calvin and said, "By the way, Calvin, Nicol Lemay wants to see you tonight, in the old place."

Calvin nodded his head in clear terms.

After seeing Bassida leave, Dumbledore said, "As for Professor Snape's Dark Mark of the Devil, keeping it will be of greater use."

"I see," Calvin nodded thoughtfully, "it turns out that there are some Death Eaters who are loyal to you."

"No, it's not," Dumbledore showed a rare fidget, "he's loyal to Lily."

"He? Lily?" Calvin wanted to taunt him, but in the end he couldn't say anything. Eventually, he left the principal's office without saying a word. Only Dumbledore's deep eyes watched him go.

Calvin hurried to Hagrid's cabin, but he ran into Sirius in a hurry on the way.

"Oh, Kaka, you're just in time, I have something very important to tell you." Sirius's face was flushed, and it looked like he was angry.

Calvin quietly took out Thestrals' glasses and put them on, and saw that Blake's inner soul did not have any compression and deformation, which perfectly matched his appearance, which at least showed that Sirius was not pretended by someone else with Polyjuice Potion.

"Why did you suddenly put on your glasses?" Sirius found Calvin's behavior a little odd.

"Oh, the sun is too big, I'm wearing sunglasses," Calvin lied without changing his face, "Is there anything important you want to tell me, Sirius?"

"Yes, it's important," Sirius whispered into Calvin's ear after seeing no one else around, "I suspect Peter is still alive."

This is the second time Calvin has been shocked today. His body involuntarily leaned back and asked solemnly, "Sirius, are you talking about Peter?" Peter Peddiru? According to you, he caused an explosion eleven years ago and blew himself up, leaving only one finger left, and then today you tell me that he is still alive?"
