Chapter 1: Lunch at the Weasleys' House

July is the most visited time since the establishment of the Origin Fantastic Beasts Sanctuary, and many Hogwarts students choose to visit here after receiving their beautiful report cards, not to mention the foreign tourists who come to visit it.

All the staff in the reserve, because of the large number of tourists, have to devote themselves to their busy work. Calvin, the owner of the entire reserve, has been hiding in his farm cottage with Newt Scamander for a long time, compiling a new book.

At the beginning of the holidays, Calvin would wander around the gates of the reserve, and would shout hello to his students when he met them, and in the next few days, he would be completely out of sight.

Writing a new book about fantastic beasts wasn't too difficult for both Calvin and Newt. Both are some of the best experts in this field, and Calvin's magic paintings can reproduce every hair on the body of magical beasts.

It took only twenty days for Calvin and Newt to complete the first draft of the UK chapter of Fantastic Animals and Magic. In order to catch up with the students' purchases, Newt wrote to the publisher he had been working with for a long time, noting that this was the next Hogwarts textbook.

The publisher also moved quickly, and a week later, the first edition of Fantastic Animals and Magic – The UK was on the shelves of the Blotted bookstore, and according to the bookstore owner, it was a bestseller, even if it wasn't a textbook.

Of course, the sales of "Fantastic Animals and Magic" still can't compare to the current top bestseller, Gilderoy Lockhart's book.

On a Monday in late July, the reserve was closed for a day off, and it was much quieter outside Calvin's farm hut than usual.

In fact, Calvin Farm is also a tour, where visitors can feed the chickens, milk the cows, shave the sheep under the guidance of the staff (Cedric) and get a "Little Farmer" badge at the end. For Calvin, such a project would kill two birds with one stone, both in terms of prostituting the labor of tourists and making money for tickets.

On such a rare rest morning, Calvin sat on the floor reading a book, making annotations on the book from time to time, and a docile Norwegian ice wolf acted as a backrest behind him to cool down his master.

As a string of footsteps drew closer, there was a knock on the door of the hut.

"Come in, the door is unlocked." Calvin put the book aside and saw a burly young man with a wounded left arm walking into the cabin, and Uncle Newt was standing behind him.

Calvin took the ice wolf back into the painting, knowing that Newt was too old to be cold.

"Charlie, what magical beast did I want to learn about today?" Calvin served black tea to the two guests sitting at the wooden table.

"No, no, no, you're mistaken, Calvin," Charlie scratched his head, "I haven't finished reading the last time I took it from you." I'm here today to treat you to dinner. ”

"Eat?" Calvin was a little curious, "Where?" ”

"At his house," Newt said, "Molly invited a few of the reserve's administrators, and you, the boss, to eat at her place. ”

Charlie nodded innocently, "That's right. ”

Calvin raised his hand and looked at his watch, "Then let's go now, and I'll do a home visit too." ”

The reserve is a short distance from Wesley's Burrow. The three of them walked through a rolling hill and fertile meadow, and it took about a quarter of an hour to arrive, which still took care of Newt's speed.

To be honest, the Burrow is very different from when the sanctuary was first established, and although Calvin only glanced at it in Ron and Percy's memory, it still looked like a building that was constantly being built up, but it was not as crooked as he remembered.

"It doesn't feel like the Burrow Ron told me." Calvin said to Charlie, "In his description, I thought you were living in a dilapidated house. ”

Charlie shrugged, "Actually, when he came back from the summer, he almost didn't recognize it. But thank you for all of that, Calvin. Since the establishment of the reserve, my mother has been preparing food at home and selling it to tourists, earning more than my father every month. ”

Charlie opened the fence in front of the Burrow and walked into the Burrow with Calvin for the first time.

In fact, quite a few people had already gathered in the garden: Alexander, Li Lang and a somewhat depressed middle-aged man were talking, and the three seemed to be chatting about Muggles in their respective countries.

Four girls of different ages whispered at a round table in another garden. Calvin recognized three of them: Savannah, Hermione, and Lee Lang's niece, May. As for the other little girl he didn't know, Calvin guessed that she was the youngest daughter of the Wesley family, as she also had bright red hair.

There were four broomsticks flying in the sky, and it was Harry, Ron, and the Wesley twins playing two-on-two Quidditch.

As soon as Calvin walked into the garden, he caught everyone's attention. The twins swooped down from the air and greeted warmly, "Professor Capet, we said you would come?" ”

The rest of the acquaintances also gathered around to greet Calvin, who was surprised by Harry's presence here, and couldn't help but ask, "Harry, shouldn't you be staying at your aunt's house?" ”

Harry raised an eyebrow, "After I stayed at the Dursleys house for a week, Sirius picked me up, and then Ron wrote to Sirius to stay with them for a while, and I came over. ”

"Ron, why did you write to Sirius?" Calvin quickly spotted the suspicions

Ron had a puzzled look on his face, "I wrote several letters to Harry, but none of them reached him, and neither did Hermione, so I wrote to Sirius." ”

It was strange that someone had intercepted a letter addressed to Harry. Calvin thought to himself, is it Voldemort?

But without allowing Calvin to think too much, the middle-aged man who was a little depressed walked over and stretched out his right hand to Calvin, "Hello, I'm Arthur Weiss." ”

Calvin reached out and shook Arthur's hand, "Hello, I'm Calvin Capet. ”

Arthur ushered Calvin into the Burrow, and they came to the narrow exit room, where a long wooden table rubbed to reveal a human figure took up most of the space, surrounded by chests and cabinets, a fat, kind woman with an apron tinkling cooking by the pool, and the old radio with the tune of the Strange Sisters.

Mrs. Weasley heard the footsteps and asked without looking back, "Arthur, are you back to help me cook?" ”

Calvin clearly saw Arthur's blushing face, "Molly, are there guests?" ”

"Oh," Molly quickly turned, wiped her hands on her apron, and took Calvin's hands, "You must be Professor Capet." Have you eaten, do you want to eat some, there is thick soup and butter bread, and the roast chicken will be fine for a while. ”

"Let's have dinner with everyone later," Calvin smiled and withdrew his hand, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Mrs. Wesley." ”

"I'm glad to meet you, too, Professor Capet," Molly pulled Calvin to sit down at the wooden table, "Percy took twelve wizard-level certificates, and I saw that his class on protecting magical beasts was excellent. ”

"It's the result of his own efforts."

"And George and Fred, who are also excellent at protecting magical beasts."

"I think it's because they're interested enough in this class." Calvin still smiled.

Molly patted her chest, "And little Ronnie, I've always been afraid that his grades will be very poor, not even as good as George and Fred, but his final grades make me very satisfied, I heard that you made up lessons for him, is it true?" ”

Calvin couldn't hold back, who was visiting whom.

"I really like Ron, he's very much like a friend of mine."

"I didn't expect little Ronnie to be quite likable." Mrs. Wesley's tone was a little surprised.

Arthur finally found an opportunity to interject at this time, "Molly, you go to the kitchen to cook first, and I'll help you later." ”

Molly smiled at Calvin, "I'll remember to eat later." ”

Arthur led Calvin to the living room. Calvin was immediately attracted by the clock on the wall, unlike ordinary clocks, its purpose is not to represent time. The dial of the clock has nine gold hands, each of which is engraved with the name of each member of the Wesley family. There are no numbers on the clock face, but the place or state where each family member may be, such as "home", "school", "work", "road", "missing", "hospital", "prison", and "mortal danger" at twelve o'clock in a normal clock.

Interesting alchemical products. Calvin thought to himself.

Tracking Spell, Detection Spell, Name Spell...... Looks like a lot of magic is going to be used. Of course, there are ways to do without spells, and perhaps the clock itself is a form of magical contract.

Arthur pulled Calvin to sit down on the couch, and the balding man leaned out halfway out and asked, like a student, "Professor Capet, I read your book Dialogue with History: Starting with the Muggle Technological Explosion." I have to say that this is the most comprehensive book I've ever read about Muggle history and technology. ”

Calvin lowered his eyelids and took a sip of hot tea, "Mr. Wesley, I'm afraid you're mistaken, I'm not the author of that book, I'm just entrusted by a friend." ”

"Ah, shall I meet your friend? I have some work questions that I would like to consult with him. Arthur was still in high spirits.

Calvin knew that Arthur was the head of the Division for the Prohibition of the Misuse of Muggle Items, and replied with a wry smile, "Unfortunately, Arthur, this book is my friend's posthumous work, and she has passed away. ”

Arthur's expression instantly turned disappointed, "Oh, that's a shame. I mean, it's so sad, Professor Capet, please don't be upset. ”

Calvin shook his head, "It's gone, Arthur, and if you have any questions about Muggles, I can answer them too." ”

The two chatted about Muggles in the living room. Calvin discovered that Arthur was also a genius who was good at using alchemy to transform Muggle products, and the two became talkative after touring the modified Ford Anglia until Molly came in and took her husband.

Soon, a sumptuous lunch began in Wesley's garden.

Molly's craftsmanship is very good, although it is just some home-cooked food, but it also makes many wanderers present feel the taste of home.

Calvin also sighed in his heart, when was the last time he had such a big meal, it seemed that it was still at his aunt's house, and he was ashamed to say that after returning to England this time, he never went to Oxford to see the two of them.

Only Bill, the eldest son of the Wesley family, was absent, and Molly complained to everyone at the dinner table about Bill's long hair and earrings, fearing that he would not find a girlfriend because of this.

"I think that's pretty cool." Savannah muttered, and both Ginny and May nodded in agreement.

At that moment, an owl flew from the sky, with at least six or seven letters at its feet. The gray owl obediently rested on Arthur's shoulder and did not fly to the table.

Arthur retrieved the letter from the owl's talons, then pulled out five nats from his body and stuffed them into the bag of the owl's calf.

"It's a letter from Hogwarts," Arthur said, as he began handing out letters, "Percy, you're still a prefect this year. ”

Percy smiled as she took the letter from her father, and Molly excitedly kissed her third son.

"George, Fred, yours. Ron, Harry, Hermione, these three are yours. ”

"Professor, have you changed your textbooks this year?" After Fred opened the letter, the first person to discover was that the textbook for the Conservation of Magical Beasts class had changed, and then his gaze moved back and forth between Calvin and Newt.

"Yes, Fred. The new textbook was co-authored by me and Mr. Scamander. Calvin said this, and Newt smiled and nodded to Fred, "Thank you for enjoying my Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them so much." ”

"And this, Ginny, your notice."

The little red-haired girl screamed and took the acceptance letter from her father's hand. Ginny opened the notice and read it with May:

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Headmaster: Albus Dumbledore

(Sir Merlin, 1st Class, Chief Wizard of the Wizengamot, President of the International Confederation of Wizards)

Dear Miss Wesley,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been approved to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. A list of books and items is included in the letter.

The semester starts on September 1. We will be waiting for a reply from your owl by July 31.

Your loyalty

Minerva McGonagall

Vice-Principal (Female)

"It's great that Ginny is going to Hogwarts too." Molly wiped her tears.

Arthur noticed that May, the only child on the table who didn't get the letter, asked, "May, isn't she old enough?" I remember she was eleven years old too. ”

Li Lang hurriedly explained, "May is not a young wizard born in England or Ireland, so she can't enter Hogwarts. But my colleagues and I would teach her magic in the sanctuary. ”

Calvin noticed May's disillusioned expression and looked longingly at the notice in Ginny's hand, so he smiled slightly, "Since the reserve is a school, let's be complete." ”

After speaking, he took out parchment paper and a quill and wrote. He took out a blank envelope from his sleeve and snapped his fingers, and the parchment began to fold up automatically, and put it in the envelope. The seal of the envelope was sealed with a magic pattern, and a world tree with four branches stretched out to support the four elements of earth, wind, water, and fire emerged on the back.

When everything is done. Calvin picked up the notice that was suspended in the air, stood up and walked over to May, and handed it to her with his own hand.

"Miss Li, congratulations on your admission to our school."

This letter, handmade by Calvin, was later seen as a symbol of the establishment of the ORGLAND School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and was kept forever in the ORGLAND library.
