Chapter 23: A Stage for One

After lunch on Saturday, Calvin, Flitwick, and McGonagall arrived in the auditorium.

It was past dinner, but there were still quite a few students in the auditorium, and they were quickly attracted to Calvin's attention.

"Young wizards still in the Great Hall, please move a little, I'm going to cast a little magic on the whole Great Hall." Calvin spoke loudly as he stood in Dumbledore's seat in the teacher's seat, and Professor McGonagall's face tightened when she heard that she was going to do some magic on the Great Hall.

I hope this Capet kid is a little more reliable than Kettleburn.

The little wizards, though they didn't know what Calvin was going to do, obediently got up from their chairs and stepped aside.

"Thank you." Calvin said, waving his wand at the same time, the entire auditorium was controlled by him.

The floor of the auditorium flowed like quicksand, and the four long tables and the chairs around them sank into it like a shipwrecked traveler. When the tables and chairs were gone, the floor was as hard as marble again.

Then, in the middle of the clearing that had been laid out in the auditorium, the boulders that made up the ground rose and fell like ocean waves, and finally a half-person tall booth was raised. On top of the booth, four giant white curtains were raised, and portraits of various magical animals continued to emerge on the curtains.

"Professor Capet, is this where you're going to be in class for the afternoon?" Eddie Camirche of Ravenclaw asked.

In the past few days, Calvin has been looking for people to spread the word that he is going to establish a club and is ready to show the whole school the new teaching methods, and leaflets are plastered all over almost every lounge. And it was also written on the flyer that as long as you try to listen to the public class, there will be a mysterious little gift to receive, which makes the whole castle fall into anticipation.

Calvin smiled at Eddie and said, "Yes, that's right, but there's still about two hours until the showcase, so you can go and tell your friends to come over first, and remember to come and get the mysterious little gift."

Hearing this, the young wizards who remained in the auditorium returned to their own academy break rooms to inform their friends and classmates of the breaking news.

"The mysterious little gift you are talking about, it can't be this." Professor McGonagall pulled a cloth bag out of her pocket and opened it to reveal a thin crystal shard, a side of which could be faintly seen with intricate patterns through the light coming through the window.

Seeing this, Professor Flitwick also took out the crystal, but he didn't protect it as well as McGonagall.

"Calvin, honestly, this is not a small gift," Flitwick said, "I can't imagine that my years of unchanging wizarding life could be changed by this little crystal."

"I think so, too," McGonagall carefully put away the communication crystal, "it makes communication between me and my two brothers so much easier."

"It's just a makeshift work made up by two students, and it's still in the experimental stage," Calvin said humbly, "This large-scale distribution to the children is also to test where the upper limit of the communication crystal is."

"Professor Capet," Professor McGonagall's expression quickly changed from nostalgic to extremely serious, "I would like to ask if you have ever considered whether giving out communication crystals to children will hinder their learning, especially if they are overused in class, and may even be used by them...... cheating." ….

Calvin secretly sighed that Professor McGonagall was a brilliant vice-chancellor who had discovered the problem so quickly.

However, since Calvin has decided to give out communication crystals to young wizards for free, he must have thought it through.

"Professor McGonagall, you are a responsible headmaster, and in fact, I thought about it when you mentioned it. Therefore, the communication crystal issued to the students is the *** version and cannot be used in the classroom."

Professor McGonagall nodded, "In that case, I'll be relieved."

The two hours passed quickly, and more and more students arrived from the common room, the library, or the courtfield, huddled at the edge of the auditorium, waiting for Calvin's arrival.

After much deliberation, Harry couldn't resist the persuasion of his two friends and agreed to come to Professor Capet's demonstration class.

The reason why Harry didn't want to come was not because of Professor Capet, but because he had been hiding in his dorm room for the past few days

It's to hide from Lockhart and Colin.

Fortunately, Ron brought a pair of sunglasses from George, and it is said that after wearing them, others will subconsciously ignore the wearer. With these glasses, Harry dared to make it to the crowded auditorium with peace of mind.

In addition to the students, many professors also came to the auditorium. Professor Snape, for example, was standing in a dark corner, and he was eager to see what Capet's new teaching methods were up to.

In Snape's pocket, too, was a communication crystal. Unlike other professors, his social circle is not as wide, which has a lot to do with his withdrawn personality. Of course, the main reason is that most of his former friends are imprisoned in Azkaban.

Lockhart was also carried by the crowd to the auditorium, and when he saw the booth in the middle of the auditorium, his heart was so excited that he even wanted to get out of the crowd, stand on it, and start a much-anticipated speech, so that the whole school could see his fluffy hair, lilac-colored wizard robes, and white and flawless teeth.

It's a pity that today's protagonist is destined to be Calvin. As soon as the bell rang at three o'clock in the afternoon, Calvin did not know from which corner of the crowd he came from, parting the crowd of people, like Moses parting the Red Sea, and with a slight leap onto the stand, he reached out and brought up the dwarf Flitwick as well.

Calvin held his wand and looked around, pressing his hands down, and the noise of the crowd became quieter.

"It's great to have so many young wizards come to watch my acting class." Calvin's voice echoed throughout the auditorium. To Harry's surprise, the voice was not coming from Professor Capet in the center of the auditorium, but was sounding simultaneously in all directions, as if Professor Capet was speaking in his ear.

"First of all, this class is not a magical beast protection class, or a Charms class, but a class that will be taught in my club."

"If you are interested in the club I have established, you are welcome to sign up."

"Without further ado, let's start the official class."

Calvin looked at the young wizards around him, "Although most of the students should know me, I would like to introduce myself in order to take care of this year's first-year students."

"Calvin Capet, professor of the Magical Beasts Protection Class."

That's it? Lockhart in the audience was confused, he also knew Calvin well, and the other party's title was not shorter than his, but he only said that he was a professor in his self-introduction.

I don't know how to market myself.

"My first question is simple, has anyone ever found a similarity between the different magical disciplines?"
