Chapter 25: Club Recruitment
"Want to try flying away from the broomstick?" Calvin asked in the air.
The little wizards all raised their hands excitedly, especially the Quidditch-loving children.
"You, you, and you." Calvin casually pointed to a few little wizards who raised their hands, and the next moment they rose from the crowd, this scene completely pushed the atmosphere of the scene to a climax.
"Uh, Harry, look!" Ron waved his hands excitedly in mid-air in what he thought was handsome, "I don't need a broom to fly!"
Calvin returned to the booth and slowly lowered the little wizards back to the ground, until the entire auditorium was calm again, and he continued, "But Airship Lee and the Levitation Charm are not unconnected."
He used the spell as a pen and wrote four spells in the air, which were the Levitation Charm and its counterspell, and the Airship Lee Levitation Charm and its counter-spell.
"There's a lot of similarity."
Hermione narrowed her eyes and calmly analyzed the four spells that glowed in the air. Instead of being as excited as her friend, she kept her cool.
Snape noticed the same and drew his wand and practiced secretly.
"There should be a lot of people who can see that there is some similarity between these spells." Calvin waved his wand, and the close spots in the spell became highlighted.
"I speculate that it may have been ancient magicians who could only use simple spells at first, and then gradually learned these magic from plants or animals that possessed magical abilities."
"These spells are often so powerful that they are difficult to learn, and the wise ancient wizards have simplified and transformed them step by step, and finally we have seen modern spells."
Under Calvin's command, Airship Lee's levitation spell changed shape, eventually becoming exactly like the modern levitation spell.
"The connection between different types of magic is not only in spells and magic plants, but also in spells and ancient scriptures."
Calvin's wand lit up with a point of light, and his left hand drew a magic symbol in the air, which erupted in a brilliant light.
"Transfiguration and Potions."
On four screens, the transformation of the disguised magus and the polyjuice decoction begins.
"The connection between enchantments and magical beasts, ancient magic and magical beasts, and even alchemy, magical beasts and enchantments."
Every time Calvin spoke, a video played on the curtain to corroborate what he had said.
"Of course, my club is currently studying the relationship between spells and magical beasts. There are a lot of interesting magic that can be regenerated from magical beasts."
Snape's face was as calm as ever, but there was already a huge wave in his heart.
He was first shocked that Calvin had taken out such a secret discovery to teach, wasn't this his magical path?
Second, he began to recall the scene of Dumbledore and the Dark Lord battling each other, and he began to wonder how far Calvin was from the two of them.
Snape was well aware that both Dumbledore and the Dark Lord had gone out of their own magical paths, and that the two had surpassed anyone else in their respective fields. ….
There's going to be a fight with Cape, and anyway, I wonder what level this young man is.
At this time, at the outermost part of the Great Hall crowd, Dumbledore was wearing an invisibility cloak, smiling at Calvin who was standing in the center of the booth, shining brightly, with a badge floating on the palm of his left hand. Yes, in such a short period of time, he had mastered the original levitation charm that had been imitated from the airship Lim.
"Calvin, is this your magical path?" Dumbledore asked to himself.
Calvin didn't answer Dumbledore, he put away a gentle smile on the booth at this time, and said very seriously, "I must warn everyone that the magic that ancient wizards learned from magical plants and magical beasts is the first magic."
"The characteristics of the first generation of magic were powerful and difficult to learn. And there is no shortage of wizards who have been hurt by the original magic they unleashed."
"That's why joining my club requires a rigorous assessment."
"Is it an exam? Or write a dissertation?" One student asked with some humility. Most of the students, like him, are afraid of the so-called assessments.
"No, no, no, of course not." Calvin's face softened a little, "What I need to examine is your comprehensive ability. Neither the exams nor the essays could achieve the results I wanted."
Calvin pulled a roll of drawing paper out of his sleeve and unfolded it stood there like a door.
Everyone stared at the painting, and the students standing in front of it quickly saw that it was painted by Professor Flitwick and Professor Capet, who were working together to perform a large magic.
"It's a 'door,' and inside it's a game, and I'm sure Muggle-born and mixed-race kids might know a little bit about it." Calvin said, "yes, it's a game, don't take it too scary."
"That's it for today's demonstration class. This painting will remain in the auditorium for a month, and anyone who passes the game within a month will be able to join my club." Calvin said lightly.
Calvin waved his wand, and the floor of the entire auditorium swelled like quicksand again, and long tables and chairs emerged from the ground and returned to their original places.
"By the way," said Calvin, who had already walked down the booth, "please leave through the exit on the right, where you can pick up the mysterious little gift I said."
Upon hearing this, the students became excited again and walked towards the exit on the right side of the auditorium, where they saw the weasley-faced twins standing there with two large boxes.
"Professor Capet's mysterious little gift, receive it from us." George's voice sounded completely devoid of spirit.
Ron, who rarely saw his two older brothers with sad faces, squeezed to the front and asked, "George, Fred, what's wrong with you two?"
"Take the gift from me, go to the other side and get the manual." George said, "Ron, take it and leave, don't get stuck here."
"Wait, I'll get one for Harry and Hermione," Ron walked up to George expectantly, "What's wrong, George?"
George shoved the three crystals into his brother's hand, "Professor Capet, he's not allowed to join his club directly."
Ron only then remembered this, and couldn't help but froze for a moment, and was squeezed in front of Fred by the crowd.
Fred put the three manuals in his pocket and said, "I guess you'll have to pass Professor Capet's test too."
Ron had been pushed out of the auditorium by this time, and he struggled against the crowd to get to Fred, "Do you know what's in that painting?"
George and Fred spread their hands at the same time: "I don't know, only Charlie passed a similar test."
