Chapter 35: Black Snake, Surrender to Me!

The students in the audience, especially those of the same level as Harry and Draco, were stunned by the grand spectacle created by the two.

Whether it's a thick fog or a scorching blue fireball, it's hard to reach for sophomores.

Snape's eyes also showed doubt and shock: could this be the students taught by Capet's new age of magical education? That traditional magic can really be thrown in the trash.

He looked at Calvin with a shocked gaze, only to find Calvin's face slightly angry, and he jumped onto the platform with a brisk step, standing between Harry and Draco.

Calvin flicked his wand and dispelled the fog and fireballs. Then Draco took the drawing paper in his hand and the small black ball that was thrown out in front of Harry.

"Peruvian Invisible Smoke Grenades, Exploding Spell Magic Painting." Calvin gently weighed the two items in his hand, and his eyes searched the audience for the culprit.

Cedric and the twins were filled with pride when they saw the smoke and blue fireballs rising from the stage. George and Fred also took the opportunity to pitch their own prank products to the students around them.

But when Calvin came to power to dispel the smoke, the three of them felt a little bad in their hearts. They wanted to sneak away, but Calvin's eyes quickly found the three of them.

Calvin's torch-like eyes glanced at them, and Cedric only felt like a heretic being burned at the stake, his mouth dry and his forehead sweating from fear and oppression.

Fortunately, Calvin only warned them with his eyes, and did not directly name them, but the three of them knew that they were afraid that the next time they gave private guidance, it would not be so easy to get by.

"Two rich young masters," Calvin sneered, returning the magic painting and smoke bomb to the two who were still dueling, "All the next duels are not to use any weapons other than wands, especially the Wesley brothers' mischief products and Diggory's magic paintings."

Almost all of the students' eyes were on the Cedric and Wesley twins, who had retreated to the edge of the auditorium, and it was hard to say whether Calvin's maneuver would help or destroy the business of the three of them.

"Now, the duel resumes."

Harry and Draco had to salute each other again according to the rules of the duel ceremony, and began a proper magic duel.

It's decent, but it's extremely unusual for a second-year student. The two cast spells of various colors on the long platform: Stun Spell, Petrification Spell, Imprisonment Spell, Disarming Spell......

Harry even used a very unskilled Iron Armor Charm to block Draco's Imprisonment Charm, much to the shock of the students in the audience - many of the older students were unable to cast the spell.

But Snape soon made some discoveries—neither of them knew the new magic that Calvin had used, none of them.

Snape quietly walked up to Calvin and whispered, "This is the result of your private guidance? I thought the so-called new magic education would teach something different."

"Snape, they're only in their second year." ….

At this moment, Draco on the long platform had just flashed one of Harry's disarming charms, and he gasped for a few seconds.

The gap between him and Harry was getting smaller and smaller, and Harry might even have surpassed him.

In the beginning, when he was teaching with Professor Capet, Draco was able to easily suppress Harry with a few tricks passed down from home. But now dodging Harry's spell would consume most of his stamina.

Then try this, Harry!

"Oolong out of the hole!"

Draco shouted, and the tip of his wand exploded violently, and a cloud of black smoke quickly condensed into a long black snake.

The black snake landed on the long platform and made a dull sound. It swam as it moved closer to Harry, spitting letters and hissing hoarsely.

The little wizard near the long platform screamed and scattered backwards in horror, and soon cleared a clearing, like a drop of dish soap falling into the oil soup on a plate

So so.

Even Draco was frightened by the serpent he had summoned, swallowing his saliva and taking a step back.

Calvin glanced at Snape beside him, crossed his arms and asked, "You taught him?"

"Seems more effective than you taught him, doesn't it?" Snape smiled evilly again, and he looked at Harry's expression as he clenched his wand in bewilderment.

"You both go down," Snape said lazily, "don't act rashly, Potter!"

Harry didn't listen to him, he shrugged and half-raised his wand and took two steps closer to the black snake.

The Black Snake clearly saw Harry's actions as a danger to it, and defiantly lifted the front half of its body, spreading its torso to make itself look big, with a long mouth, fangs, and an attacking stance.

Snape raised his wand and prepared to dispose of the snake, but at that moment he heard the snake hiss, as terrifying as fingernails scratching across a blackboard.

This sound was not made by the Black Snake, but by the young wizard in front of it, Harry Potter.

Harry's mouth opened and closed as if he were talking to a snake. The strange language that emanated from Harry's mouth was terrifying and hair-piercing.

The black snake shook its head as if it were battling Harry's voice. It shook more and more, and even fell off the long platform, which frightened Justin, who was closest to the Black Snake, to move.

Eventually, the Black Serpent stopped shaking and crouched on the ground, as if surrendering to Harry.

Harry flashed a big smile at Justin, after all, he had stopped the Black Snake attacking.

But the smile wasn't so friendly to Justin, and he shuddered and shouted, "Harry, you...... What do you want to do?"

He then ran out of the auditorium with a look of horror on his face.

Snape finally recovered from his shock and walked into the clearing, turning the black snake back into a puff of black smoke, and then he glanced at Harry and announced that class was over.

Harry saw Snape's eyes, which were different from his usual malicious looks, but extremely deep.

Harry couldn't fully comprehend what that look meant. He could only sense shock, horror, and vigilance.

Why did Snape look at me like that?

It was then that Harry noticed that the entire auditorium had long since fallen silent, and almost all eyes were on him. Even if some of them had left the place, they would turn around from time to time, glance at Harry, and whisper to the people around them.

Harry was a little dazed, and he saw shock, fear, and vigilance in the eyes of those people as well.

What do they mean by that?

Why be afraid of me? Why should you be wary of me?.
