Chapter 41: Turning the Tiger Away from the Mountain
"Remus! Hey, wake up, Remus!" Sirius shook Lupin, who had fainted.
"Calvin, he'...... He's all right?" When he found that Lupin couldn't wake up for the time being, he quickly asked Calvin.
"Calm down, Siri, don't shake him yet, I'm here," Calvin brushed away the thick hair on Lupin's body and examined the wounds on his body, "He's fine, his werewolf status makes him a lot stronger than those three, you feed this to his mouth."
Calvin handed Sirius a small crystal bottle, the liquid inside glowing softly.
"What is this?"
"Phoenix's tears."
When Sirius heard this, he quickly poured the liquid into Lupin's mouth, completely ignoring Calvin's "save some use", and directly poured half of the bottle into it.
Calvin continued to examine Lupin's wounds and said to the two Aurors, "The wounds are still fresh, the murderer didn't go far, send a signal for the others to come back."
The two Aurors nodded, sending out a purple firework into the sky. However, almost at the same time, a cloud of green smoke appeared in the sky, forming a huge skeleton, and a large python emerged from the skeleton's mouth like a tongue.
The skull glows a dazzling green light, and against the dark night sky, it resembles a new constellation, illuminating the northwest corner of the night sky.
"Holy!" Calvin and Sirius rose from the ground at the same time and ran towards the place marked by the Dark Devil.
When they arrived, only two bodies were found on the hill below the Dark Mark.
Sirius turned into a black dog, sniffed at the two corpses, and then crawled on the ground, looking for clues left by Peter.
"Woohoo!" Sirius barked twice at a bush.
"Boom!" Without hesitation, Calvin exploded the bush with a spell, burning it to the ground. And in the scorched earth, a huge rat hole was clearly visible.
"Can you keep looking?" Calvin asked.
Sirius turned back into his human form and shook his head at Calvin, "It's hard, the rat hole is too deep, but he's in the hole."
"Humph!" Calvin pointed his wand at the entrance of the cave with his wand, "Waves!"
A powerful stream of water erupted from the tip of Calvin's wand, and its volume and speed were not comparable to that of a clear spring.
But Calvin still felt that it was too slow, and two doppelgangers came out of his back, and the three Calvin poured seawater into the rat hole together.
Soon, several small springs appeared on the ground nearby, and gradually spread into the distance. Eventually, a fat rat crawled out of a hole far away.
Sirius' nose twitched, and he gestured to the other side of the hill, "I smell it, he's there!"
The three Calvin became one, chasing after Sirius.
Soon, however, Sirius lost track of Peter, and the two stopped at the last place where Peter appeared.
"Hell, it's still a step too slow, he's phantasmaged." Sirius scolded, "Calvin, can you keep catching up?"
Calvin nodded silently, of course he could find the other party's foothold from the clues of the apparition, but it would take time. ….
Six others arrived with one wounded and two corpses, awaiting Calvin's instructions.
However, just as Calvin was about to find Peter's whereabouts, the communication crystal in his pocket became piping hot. He didn't dare to delay, so he hurriedly took it out and took a look.
The letter was from Professor McGonagall, but Calvin's crystal showed Snape's scribbled handwriting:
"You and Dumbledore are not here, Hogwarts has been attacked!"
Calvin's color changed instantly, and he realized that he had been tricked.
Peter released the Dark Mark and removed me, and Dumbledore went to meet with the American visitors, who informed him of this:
Pierce Hinkness!
"Hurry up, you guys
Go back to the Ministry of Magic and grab Pierce Sinkenis immediately!" Calvin forced himself to remain calm in his anger.
"This ......," the remaining six were a little embarrassed, "Capturing the Aurors would require Minister Fudge's own orders."
"Let you go, go quickly!" Calvin said, "We'll talk about the formalities later."
"Yes!" Intimidated by Calvin's strength, the six Aurors accepted the order and the apparitions returned to the Ministry of Magic.
"Sirius, you take Remus back to your house, and come with me to Hogwarts." Calvin said.
Sirius wondered why Calvin didn't continue to look for Peter, and had the Aurors go to capture Pierce Hinkenes.
"Kaka, what's wrong? Ignore Peter?"
"Hogwarts has been attacked! I thought that Voldemort's brain had been destroyed by the dark magic and only immortality, but I didn't expect it...... I underestimated him."
"Hogwarts has been attacked?" Sirius asked incredulously, "What about Dumbledore?" Isn't he there?"
Calvin shook his head, "He's not here, he's got something to do tonight. Don't talk about it, send Remus back first."
Sirius nodded, and was about to take Lupin with him, but there was a fluctuation of magic around him. Six Aurors who had gone back to capture Pierce Hinkenes returned, and one of them was wounded in the arm.
"Mr. Capet!" The wounded Auror shouted, "The Ministry of Magic is under attack! It's all corpses, and we can't get in."
"What nonsense are you talking about?" Calvin grabbed the man by the collar, "Isn't Dumbledore at the Ministry of Magic?"
"No! He went to Azkaban with Secretary Fudge and the U.S. delegation."
Calvin put the man down and rearranged his thoughts. Soon, he came up with a new plan.
He took out a magic painting from his sleeve and handed it to Sirius, "Sirius, you take Remus back to your house first, and then go to the Ministry of Magic with these six people, and clean up those Yin Corpses first, use this."
"What about you, Kaka?" Sirius weighed the magic painting in his hand, and before he could open it, he could feel the magic and heat in it.
"I'm going back to Hogwarts, I can't figure out how the Death Eaters quietly attacked the castle."
"Okay, then you be careful, and use the crystal to contact when the time comes." After Sirius finished speaking, he left the hill with the unconscious Lupin on his shoulder.
Calvin's blood-red eyes glanced at the six bewildered Aurors, and they shuddered in unison, before the apparition shifted back to the Ministry of Magic.
After everyone had left, Calvin touched the place where Peter had last stood. He then cast a random spell into the sky, dispersing the nebula-like black marker and taking the last of the light with him.
The whole world was plunged into darkness, except for Calvin's two eyes, like a burning torch, revealing a glimmer of fire.
