Chapter 133: Entering the Ministry of Magic (Part I)
"But ......" Harry still wanted to argue, it seemed that it was not long to remember without a lesson.
"Okay, I'm sure you'll protect yourself, right?" Lupin looked at Ron and Hermione.
"Of course!" Ron and Hermione said impatiently.
Lockhart objected dissatisfiedly: "How can we let these children take risks?
"Gildero, they are not too small to always stay under our protection," Lupin persuaded, "and I don't think there is any danger in this tonight, the mysterious man probably won't go to the Ministry of Magic himself, that would be too dangerous for him, he will definitely not take any risks." β
"Professor, we'll protect ourselves~" Hermione began to grab Lockhart's hand and coquettish him.
"Well, when something happens, you can just get out of the way!, understand?" Lockhart didn't like to take two little kids with him when he was doing something like this, but Lupin had already made a decision, and Lockhart couldn't say any convincing reason, "Who are we going to become?"
"I'll go back to the common room and get two random boys to get their hair!" Hermione excitedly offered, "And where are we going to meet?" and, how do we get there?"
Lu Ping also looked at Lockhart, who touched his chin and thought: "We will meet in the principal's office later, we will use the fireplace to London, and then enter the Ministry of Magic through the guest passage, and go directly to the fireplace for fear of causing unnecessary trouble." β
"Good!"
Moments later, the Salvation Trio appears in the principal's office with Ginny.
"Ginny, why are you here!" Lockhart was a little irritated, "if you go on like this, you might as well bring the whole H.A. over, and there is a lot of power." β
"I'm going to protect Harry, and I'm doing my spells so well that I'm not going to hold you back!" Ginny grabbed Harry's arm and said loudly, "Harry, tell Professor SΓΉ how my spells are doing." β
"Ginny is the best ...... among girls"
No matter how good he is, he is just a child, Lockhart waved his hand impatiently, "Okay, Hermione, what about the hair." β
"Here! it's Neville and Seamo's. Hermione pulled out a small bottle and lowered her hair into the two small cups that Lupin was holding.
"Pick first!" Lupin handed Lockhart two cups.
Lockhart looked at Lupin suspiciously, took a cup and drank it, "Is this any different?" β
"Of course it's different...... Two different people. Lupin shrugged, took a drink, shrunk his body, and turned into Seamus, his clothes were a little ill-fitting, but fortunately, the children were almost growing up, and they couldn't see anything unusual if they changed their clothes.
"Well, Lupin...... No, now you're going to call me Neville, I'll call you Seamus, OK?" Lockhart looked at himself and turned into a little fat man, but luckily Neville wasn't short and had the right clothes.
"Okay, Neville. Lupin smiled, "Let's go." β
Lockhart turned into Neville made Hermione a little unnatural, and the group all went into the fireplace and through the GuΓ² Floo network to Grimmore Square. Then he summoned the knight bus and went to the Ministry of Magic. Lockhart unleashed the Patronus in the car and went to inform Moody that they were ready to respond.
"When we get inside, protect Harry and leave with the prophecy orb, and if anyone gets in the way, you just get out of the way, understand?" Lockhart admonished.
"Why did Harry take it?" asked Hermione, "what the hell is that?" β
"It's Harry who was born," Lupin explained to her, "The Ministry of Magic has put a spell on the Prophecy Ball, and only the person concerned can take it. β
"Harry, if there's an emergency, smash the prophecy ball and don't let it fall into the hands of the Death Eaters, hear me? β
Harry nodded, "Okay, Professor. β
"Alright, let's get out of the car, remember to call me Neville. Lockhart led the way off the Rider bus.
"This way. Lockhart said, leading them quickly to the dilapidated phone booth and opening the door. "Come in!"
Lockhart dialed the number 62442 on the phone, and as the dial pad quickly turned back to its original position, a woman's cold voice came into the phone booth. "Welcome to the Ministry of Magic, please state your name and what to do. β
"Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger," Lockhart said quickly, "Ginny Weasley, Neville Longbottom, Seamusβ"
"Seamus Finigan!" Harry, apparently seeing that Lockhart had forgotten his student's name again, helped him continue, "We're here to do something." β
"Thank you," said the cold voice, "Guest, please take the badge and pin it in front of your clothes." β
Six badges slipped out of the metal diagonal slash that was supposed to be used to exit the coin. Hermione picked them up and handed them to Harry, Ron, Ginny, and Lupin, and finally helped Lockhart pin the badge to his chest.
Lockhart nodded at Hermione in thanks, then looked at his badge, "Seamus Finigan." errands. β
Others also hastened to pin their badges to their chests. "Guests of the Ministry of Magic, you will need to be screened at the security checkpoint and register your wand. The security desk is located at the end of the main hall. β
"Got it!" Harry exclaimed, "Now can we act?"
The floor of the phone booth shook suddenly, the sidewalk outside rose above the window, the light faded and the darkness closed over their heads, and with a dull grinding sound, they descended into the depths of the Ministry of Magic.
A thin golden ray shone on their feet, widening and moving towards them. By this time, the Ministry of Magic had closed work, and the main hall was empty. The light was dimmer than daylight, and there was no fire in the mantelpiece embedded in the wall, but when the elevator came to a steady stop, they saw a golden symbol still writhing irregularly on the dark blue canopy.
"The Ministry of Magic wishes you a nice night. The woman's voice said.
The door to the phone booth slammed open, and six people walked out. The only sound that could be heard in the main hall was the constant rush of water from the wands of witches and witches, the arrowheads of centaurs, the tips of fairy hats, and the ears of house-elves, falling into the circular pool.
"Which side?" asked Harry softly, his first time at the Ministry of Magic.
"This way. "Lockhart was familiar with this place, he had been working here for more than three years, and he was walking down the hall with five men, past the fountain and past the security checkpoint, where there was supposed to be a wizard who registered his wand, but it was empty now.
Scrimgeour had evacuated the men as planned, but it made Harry nervous, and they thought it was unusual for the place to be empty.
Lockhart led them through the golden gate to the elevator, which he pressed on the nearest "down" button, and the elevator clicked in front of him almost immediately, and the golden fence slid through it to both sides with a deafening, reverberating clang. Poked the number nine button, and the fence slammed shut. The elevator made a clicking sound, which was very harsh,
When the elevator stopped, the indifferent woman's voice sounded again: "Department of Mysteries." β
