Chapter 8: The Unlucky Child

Harry woke up.

His room, or rather nest, was in a storage room under the stairs, and every time someone went upstairs, dust fell from the roof.

When his aunt started yelling at him, his day began.

"Get up!"

Dust was falling overhead, and someone was going downstairs in a rage.

"Are you awake?"

"Wake up."

"Then get up quickly, and show me the smoked meat, and you dare to fry it. I'm going to have everything going well on Dudley's birthday. ”

After the aunt finished speaking at the door, half threatening and half commanding, she turned and left.

Today is the birthday of her son, Dudley, who inherited Uncle Vernon's deep-water torpedo-like stature and low intelligence.

But so what, their little darda is ten thousand times cuter than their nephew Harry Potter.

Harry scrambled to his bed, tossing and turning at his aunt's behest, and by the time he was finally able to sit down at the table, the sausages on his plate had already landed in Dudley's mouth.

Dudley folded his hands and counted the gifts he had received this year, and Harry lowered his eyes with envy.

He had never celebrated his birthday, let alone a birthday present.

Harry Potter is continuing his miserable, servant-like, dog-like life for ten years. Kano finished his morning workout a street away.

Everything in the elf country cannot be brought into the mortal world, except for will and knowledge.

During his ten years of ignorance, Kano learned the druid language taught to him by Merlin, the secret knowledge of magic, and the methods of making various potions.

Gawain honed his will and led him to the path of a knight. Powerful knights can use their magic to form a constant layer of protection on the surface of their bodies, and even the death curse can be bounced off.

He lowered his sword and shield formed by the oak branches in his hand, and the full-body armor woven by vines was restored to its original form and burrowed into the earth.

Kano took the white towel from Kreacher, wiped the sweat from his body, and sat down at the table to start his breakfast.

Kreacher is no longer the dirty, crazy look he used to be. Now he wears a white towel, washes his body cleanly, and behaves elegantly and quickly, completely in the style of an old-fashioned housekeeper.

After Kano appeared, the old elf seemed to be rejuvenated.

Of course, he was really annoyed when he kept trying to tell Kano about the glorious history of the pure-blood family.

Kano sent Kletche to keep an eye on Harry, but not to interfere with anything.

Today was the first time Harry had spoken to the anaconda, and it made it clear to him that he was different.

After that, however, he was locked up in a storage room under the stairs until the start of the summer vacation.

It's the beginning of June, and Harry has been locked up for a whole month, without seeing the light of day.

Those who said Harry shouldn't hate Aunt Penny's family should really experience it.

Kano then began to review the druid knowledge he had memorized.

The druid's lineage is unwritten, and Kano had to chant it often so he wouldn't forget it. Since his rebirth, his memories have far exceeded those of ordinary people, but this is not an excuse for being lazy.

By the time Kano had done a quick review in his mind twice, the sun was about to set.

"Little master, the boy who didn't die is back."

Kreacher snapped in front of Kano, who nodded, got dressed with Kreacher's help, walked to No. 4 Privet Road, and knocked on the door.

There was a violent roar from inside, as if some kind of construction machinery was malfunctioning.

"You freak! You talked to the serpent and almost killed my son. You let us..."

Can't seem to breathe?

"You put us to shame in front of our friends! Get out of your room for me, don't come out! ”

Kano had to knock harder on the door again, and suddenly there was a sound of chickens flying and dogs jumping inside.

Then, the door opened. Vernon. Dursley's big pink face appeared in front of Kano.

"This little gentleman, may I ask you something?"

Vernon looked at the handsome, pale-skinned, richly dressed child in front of him, and couldn't help but compare himself to Dudley in his own family.

"Is it Mr. Dursley? I'm a friend of Harry's and have just moved to the neighborhood, is he home now? ”

What a polite child, just like Dudley in our family.

Wait, who did he say?

"Our family... There was no one named Harry. ”

"Is that so?" Kano looked up and smiled, "We met last month near his school. If Harry hadn't helped me, I would have been robbed by a bunch of bad boys. ”

"He didn't leave his name, but my mother worked with children, and I asked her to help me find Harry's address."

Kano asked again with some "embarrassment": "Does he really not live here?" ”

Vernon's face flushed, as if he was restraining himself from yelling.

"Oh, I remembered. The kid was a bad guy and was always roaming around the neighborhood on weekdays, but we let him stay at my house anyway. ”

His little eyes that were trapped in the fat rolled and added, "But now that he's out to play, I don't know where he is." ”

Kano replied with some regret: "Okay, I don't know if I can see him tomorrow morning at ten o'clock." ”

Vernon nodded with difficulty: "Of course, polite little gentleman, I'll keep him at home tomorrow." ”

Kano seemed encouraged, saluted Vernon, turned and hopped away.

Vernon turned back into the house and grabbed Harry out of the pantry.

The skinny Harry was picked up like a chicken by Vernon's big fan-like hands, his thin legs dangling in the air.

"Listen, you freak."

Vernon roared angrily, but glanced at the door as if he was afraid of something.

"You bad luck is good, but don't think you can take the opportunity to harm us."

"Give me a good performance tomorrow, and don't say a word that shouldn't be said."

Vernon clenched his hands, and Harry felt like his shoulders were about to crack.

"Don't say a word, or I'll want you to look good."

Harry was caught in confusion, and listened to the warning in confusion. He didn't understand what was going on until he returned to the pantry, where there were no clocks.

The next day, Harry was stuffed into Dudley's old clothes. Although he can only wear the tattes that Dudley eliminated in normal times, this outfit is obviously not so torn today.

Dudley was not pleased, and Aunt Petunia gagged him with more sausages, bacon and bread.

Harry's hair had suffered again, and Penny couldn't comb it even with all her might, and after ten minutes of tossing and turning, she had to throw in the towel again.

"Your hair is as stubborn as you are."

She threw down such a sentence and hurriedly went to dress up her husband and son.

It was close to ten o'clock in the morning, and everyone in the family was sitting in danger. Dudley is like a pig in red, his eyes constantly drifting to the candy on the table.

Aunt Petunia's long neck came into play again, looking out the window.

Aunt Vernon always raised his hand to look at the time, but he just wanted to touch the gold watch on his wrist.

At ten o'clock, the doorbell rang.

When Aunt Petunia opened the door, a handsome and elegant young man walked into the room.

"Good morning, Dear Mr. Dursley, Mrs. Dursley, and Dudley."

Vernon puffed out his chest proudly, and several buttons creaked dangerously.

"And, good morning, my friend." Kano blinked, "Harry. Porter. ”
