Chapter 241: A Belated Warning

"Over there, ships. Saberian circled in the air before gracefully landing to the ground.

Guan Legnok had already explained the entire plan to Taga, but Taga still couldn't help but ask, "Ships?" At this moment, everyone was clinging to the neck of the huge black dragon, flying in the night sky. "I thought the black dragons were going to take us straight to that island. โ€

But the Death Knight shook his head in the turban. "If they were to fly there directly, it would be too long. She explained. "They will take us to the port of Minehir, where we will get ships to help us in our mission. โ€

Fenreth frowned and whispered, "Minerhil...... That's the surname of a royal family in this world. โ€

"That's right...... There was an Alliance outpost. Regnock admitted. "But it's also the closest port to the island. โ€

Fenreth didn't like the idea, but he couldn't help it. The dragons landed in a mountainous area near the harbor, just a shoe of water from the port of Minehir. Fenreth slipped off the dragon's back and stared out into the harbor in the darkness. It looks calm, but there are lights everywhere. The port of Minechel should be a well-defended port. He pointed to the harbor and put a finger to his lips to gesture to his warriors. Fenreth dived as silently as he could and began to swim towards the harbor, while the black dragons, having fulfilled their duty, flew into the air. They flew as low as they could. Although most of the people were asleep, the sound of several black dragons landing next to them was enough to wake them up.

โ–ฒ Most orcs are not wearing armor, so they can swim faster, but those who wear a few pieces of plate armor, chain mail, or leather armor are not so comfortable. The orcs came ashore in a cold war, still dripping with water. Fenreth looked at the crowd, their green faces looking pale in the dim light. He frowned. Scoop up a handful of dirt and wipe it off your face.

"Paint yourself with mud. He whispered to the Taga and the other orcs. "We need to move quickly and be quiet without being noticed. The others followed his orders. Fenreth watched as his companions' faces turned earthy brown. A trace of sorrow flashed through his heart. Once, his skin was also this color; Once. All orcs have an earthy brown skin color, or the brown of a tree trunk. How much has things really changed since then? What have they gotten after that to make up for Draenor's loss? Sometimes, he thinks so.

He left his head behind, driving away the sorrow in his heart and focusing his attention on his companions. When everyone was done disguised, Fenreth nodded. "We just need a few boats. We will take three ships close to the port boundary. Act fast and kill everyone who stands in your way. He looked at Taga. "Only those who stand in the way. Taga. Keep your fighters on the front line. Remember, you can only kill silently - we don't want anyone to sound the alarm. โ€

"Let them go!" Taga said menacingly. "We'll sprinkle their bones all over the sea!"

"No!" Fenreth loudly rejected him. "Remember what the demon said! Let's go in, grab the boat, that's all!"

Taga grumbled, but Fenreth glared at him until Chief Chew Bone nodded.

"Good. Fenreth grabbed his battle axe, its long, malevolent blade and short handle. "Let's go. โ€

โ‰ฎ People tiptoe forward, silently crossing the damp land, holding their weapons in hand. When the first orcs arrived at the wooden dock, a patrolling dwarf passed by. He hadn't found these orcs yet. But he could see them at any time. Fenreth nodded to the two orcs in front of him. One of them lunged forward, grabbed the dwarf's head, and slashed his tomahawk through the dwarf's neck. Completely cut off his head. The body fell to the ground with a soft thud, and the head rolled to the side for some distance, still with a look of surprise on his face. ...

The group continued on their way to the boats that Fenreth had chosen. Another guard walked over, and it was a human. One of the Taga's warriors simply threw his weapon on his head and knocked him to the ground. Fenreth nodded in praise to him. He had worried about these bone-chewing orcs, but perhaps they weren't as savage and undisciplined as he had always thought.

He continued to move, only to hear a strange crunch, and a short, wheezing wail. Fenreth spun around. An orc was still crouching beside his new victim, the crunch he utteredโ€”but not the wail. Just as Fenreth realized what the orc was doing. The wailing was lengthened and then became a word.

"Ahh The guard shouted. Screaming in pain. "My legs! It's eating my legs!"

Shouts rang out, and lights lit up in the surrounding buildings. Hordes of humans and dwarves rushed out. Not sure where they came from. Fenreth realizes that if everyone doesn't fight, they can't escape. He attacked ferociously, hoping to end the fight as soon as possible. His orcs gathered around him, clearing out some of the surrounding humans. But Fenreth knew it wouldn't be long before it would be full of guards.

"Board the ship!" He shouted as he raised his tomahawk. The crowd struggled to climb aboard the three boats, and a bone-chewing orc threw his victim ashore, cut the anchor wire, and let it go. Despite the clumsy method, the orcs managed to get all three boats out of the dock and towards the bay ahead. Just as they were leaving the port of Minehir, a flare was set off.

"This is Baladine Bay. Kurtilas' ships patrol here. They'll see the signal and be here within minutes. โ€

"We should be able to leave before they come. Fenreth replied gloomily. He took a pair of oars from the box in the middle of the seat board and threw them to the nearest orc. "Scratch me!" Fenreth shouted, pulling out more oars and handing them to the orcs. "Paddle me with all the strength you can eat!" The other ships followed them. In a few moments, all the orcs began to row with their strong arms, crossing the water at great speed.

Even so, Fenreth saw some other, larger ships coming towards them. He realized that his speed was not enough. "Kurtilas Naval Fleet!" Regnock studied the outline of the ship and confirmed. "Admiral Prodmore hates orcs - he will ruin us at any cost!"

"Can we fight them?" Fenreth asked, but before the Death Knight shook his head, he knew the answer.

"They're good at sea, and they're a lot faster than we are. We don't have a chance to win at all!"

Fenreth looked at the starry sky and nodded. "Maybe so. But then again, we may still have a chance. Keep paddling me!"

Their ships moved fast. But as Regnock had expected, the naval fleet pursued faster. The human ship was getting closer and closer, and Fenreth could see the humans in green standing on the handrails of the boat. Many had already drawn their bows, while others had short swords, axes, or spears in their hands. Fenreth knew that his warriors could defeat the humans if they were on land, but at sea, they were at a disadvantage.

Luckily, they didn't come alone.

As the first human ship approached Fenris's ship, a black figure emerged from the night sky and descended between the two ships. Its huge wings flapped so hard that the ship was blown to the back, and the people on board were blown down. After that, the dragon's jaw flared wide, and flames erupted from its mouth, engulfing the bow of the ship. The asphalted surface of the ship was ignited in an instant, and soon the whole ship began to catch fire. The screams and crackling of the flames made Fenreth happy. ...

But the humans didn't run away. Their ship approached again, and this time the Black Dragon intercepted it, so it and its crew were soon overwhelmed by the fire. The human ships advanced for the third time, and they attacked the dragon's hard skin with their weapons. Soon, the third ship was also burned to ashes. After that, the humans began to retreat, allowing the three small boats captured by the orcs to escape. There was a cheer from among the orcs.

"They're starting to give up!" Taga shouted as he stood on the bow of the boat next to him.

"They don't have to fight the dragons, and they know it. Fenreth corrected. "But I don't think they're going to just give up. โ€

"Are there any signs of a smaller flame on the other ships? Regnock asked.

Fenreth studied the retreating ships. "Yes, I can see a signal flame, as well as smoke. โ€

"They were warning the rest of the fleet. "They'll be waiting for us." โ€

Taga on the bow of the boat next to him laughed, "That warning is too late." He declared, licking the blood from his tomahawk. "By the time the humans regained their courage and came back to us, we would have returned with the spoils of war. โ€

Fenreth nodded. For him, for the first time, he hoped he was wrong, and the Bone Chewing Chief was right. (To be continued)
