Chapter 555: Strange Juice
When I tried to communicate with my family, the initial form of communication was really simple screaming and yelling. But over time, I've come to discover that whenever we interact with each other, we produce a specific kind of pronunciation frequency. This frequency seems to contain the meaning we want to express, every roar, every roar, there is a deep emotion and intention behind it.
I started trying to control and adjust this frequency, trying to use it to convey more specific and complex information. To my surprise, not only me, but other animals also seemed to have mastered this method. After a period of learning and experimentation, we animals have developed a complete communication system - our language.
With this language, communication between us becomes much smoother. I was finally able to explain to my family why I was here, tell them what I had been through in the world of supernatural beings, and why I wanted to come back here. When they heard about my experience, they all felt sorry for me and sympathized with the difficulties and pains I had experienced.
When I finished my story, the Lion King came up and made eye contact with me. There was understanding and forgiveness in his eyes, and he admitted that they had misunderstood me and hoped that I would forgive. Under his leadership, the lions welcomed me back to them and as one of them again.
At that moment, I felt extremely happy and warm. Standing under that towering tree again, feeling the care and companionship of my family, I am deeply grateful for the mysterious frequency, because it allowed me to find my home again.
But all joy and tranquility were shattered at that moment. The day after I returned to the lions, a sudden disaster plunged us into deep despair. It was a golden-winged roc whose figure almost covered the entire sky, and he waved his huge wings, and endless wind abilities were released from him.
This golden-winged roc seems to have been born to destroy everything, and every flap of his wings brings a gust of wind that rolls us up like fallen leaves and throws us into the distance. Our home was instantly reduced to ruins by his destruction, and our lions were extremely vulnerable to his mighty power.
We tried to join forces to resist, but our strength was simply not able to stop his attack. He slaughtered without mercy, lions fell before his powers, and I could only watch them leave me, but nothing could be done.
I knew I couldn't just sit still, I couldn't let my family die like that. I quickly ran to the towering tree and hid under its roots. I tried to control my breathing, so nervous that I could barely think. I just hope that the Goldenwinged Roc can't see me and give me a chance to escape this hell.
However, escaping will not solve the problem, I need to find out the source of this disaster, I need to find out why this golden-winged roc suddenly appeared. I knew that the answer might be hidden in that tree, and the only thing I needed to do was dig it up.
That night, I hid in the deep shade of a tree, secretly observing the Golden-winged Roc. The Roc flapped its huge wings, rising a little bit, and finally stopped on the treetops, enjoying the baptism of moonlight alone. I took advantage of this opportunity to carefully walk through the lions and go around to the other side of the tree.
There is a thick tree root, and under the root of the tree is a pool of clear water that our lions fetch water all year round. In the past, the water in that pool was like nectar, which was an essential daily necessity for our daily life. But that day, I noticed that the roots of the tree were cracking, and a strange sap was slowly flowing into the pool.
When I looked closely, the color of the juice was inconspicuous, and it was so well integrated into the pool that I would have missed if I hadn't sensed it keenly. I dipped my fingers in the pool, tasted it, and found that it was almost the same as usual. However, there was only "seemingly", because I still tasted some unknown taste.
I frowned in confusion, thinking in my heart. I began to reminisce, recalling the day I first came back, the roots of the tree were still intact, which means that this towering tree has only changed after I came back. After that, the supernatural animals flocked to the area, as if for some purpose, they gathered here.
This discovery made me even more curious, could I really find the source of the power and the reason for the appearance of the Golden-Winged Roc from the cracked roots and the sap mixed with the water?
while
I decided to give it a go, and a desperate emotion came over me. I stared at the roots, at the sap that was oozing from them, and then decisively licked it all into my mouth. The juice was slightly sweet and mixed with an unknown bitterness, but I didn't care, just let the liquid run in my mouth and swallow it slowly.
To prevent more sap from seeping out, I walked nearby, picked up some wet mud, and carefully plugged the cracks in the roots of the tree. I didn't know what the point of doing that was, but my gut told me I couldn't get more juice into the pool.
After that, I began to drink the pool of water. The liquid in my mouth washed away the juice I had eaten before, taking away the bitterness and leaving a coolness. But I was so engrossed that I forgot about my situation and didn't realize the conduction of the sound of drinking water.
The Golden-Winged Roc was awakened by my inadvertent movement. It opened its eyes, a cold glint in its gaze. Soon, it sensed something strange on the ground, and its piercing eyes locked on me. I understand that this moment is a turning point between life and death.
The golden-winged roc flapped its wings down, the wind whistled, and the earth and rocks flew. My heart beat faster because I knew that this time, I might really be facing an inescapable danger. However, I also firmly believe that as long as there is a glimmer of life, I will not give up.
Under the attack of the Golden-Winged Roc, I quickly turned around, forcibly suppressed the fear in my heart, and fled into the distance as fast as I could. I felt the muscles all over my body giving me strength, and I was faster and stronger than before. I was both surprised and delighted that I had escaped under the nose of the Golden-winged Roc.
I sprinted through the deep forest, the breeze stirring the grass behind me, as if I had escaped. I let out a sigh of relief. My body became more and more accustomed to this kind of high-speed running, and every time I landed, I had a faint bouncing force, as if I was stepping on a drum. It's a feeling I've never felt before, and it makes me a little excited.
I found myself growing in strength so quickly that it was unbelievable. It seems that yesterday I could only compete with ordinary beasts, but today, I can compete with the Golden-winged Roc. I can't imagine what this greater power will bring me, but I know I have to keep a clear head.
Just as I was basking in the joy of the new ability, a wilderness suddenly appeared in front of me. I was a little nervous about this unfamiliar territory, but I knew that no matter what came my way, I couldn't stop moving forward. Because, I need more experience, more strength. I started looking for food, to survive, to be stronger.
My abilities, as if they had cultivated their instincts, began to help me find suitable prey. I slaughter cattle and sheep, devour lions and leopards, and even deal with the attacks of sinuous dragons. Every time I fight, I feel stronger, as if there is an energy flowing through me, which is the power given to me by the sap of that tree.
I've come to love the feeling and enjoy the thrill of fighting. I observe, analyze, learn the weaknesses of each opponent and solve the battle as quickly as possible. I've also come to understand that this is the real rule of survival. The survival of the fittest, I want to become stronger in order to face the stronger enemies I may encounter in the future.
I trekked through the wilderness, stayed up all night, and used all my energy to find a stronger opponent. My eyes wandered in the never-ending wilderness, and I knew that I could only grow stronger by constantly fighting. I imagined what the future would bring, and I never stopped searching for strength, because I knew that only by becoming stronger could I have a chance to fight against the Golden Winged Roc and survive. Looking back, I've come so far, I tell myself, I can't give up, I must not give up.
During my wandering days, I faced different opponents every day, accumulating a wealth of combat experience and strategy. Even though my abilities made me strong, I knew that everything was inseparable from that tree. It's not only where I grew up, it's what empowers me. I know that if the Golden-Winged Roc discovers the secret of this tree, the consequences will be unimaginable.
In that long year or so, I have traveled countless mountains and rivers and encountered various crises, but I have also accumulated a wealth of experience and stronger abilities. I became more and more proficient in my body, and the energy that flowed through my body made my movements faster and more powerful. Every time I think about that
The secret of the towering tree, my heart is full of worries about my hometown. I know that as long as the branches and leaves of that tree are discovered by the Golden-winged Roc, then the entire ecological balance will be completely broken.
When I returned to my hometown, the first thing that caught my eye was the wilderness that had once been familiar. Although everything seems to be the same as usual, the presence of the Golden-winged Roc fills this land with an atmosphere of tension and fear. I hid in the grass, carefully observing my surroundings to make sure I wasn't spotted by the Roc.
Filled with apprehension and nervousness, I walked into the forest I once called home again. When I came to the special tree, I looked around cautiously. None of the soil that I used to seal the roots of the tree has been destroyed. This means that the Golden-winged Roc has not discovered the secret of the tree.
And that's the perfect time for me to do it!
