What you did in the past life is the mark of this life

Since beginninglessness, we have been adrift in samsara for a long time, and we have all experienced the suffering of each sentient being at different times, but forgetfulness is the biggest problem of human beings, so we have forgotten what we have experienced and felt.

Some people will say, "If reincarnation exists, then how can I not know it?" "It's normal to not know, how many things have you thought about in the past ten minutes, do you remember now?

If you don't even remember what you thought in the last ten minutes, do you still think you can recall your past life?

If there is reincarnation, then what is the driving force that causes us to reincarnation? It's the law of cause and effect, and it's whirling from time to time.

All the good and evil deeds in the past life are the vague marks of our present life. Cause and effect are like a mirror to us, and all the causes that we have planted in previous lives will be clearly visible in this life, and it is also the bargaining chip that determines whether we will attain pain or happiness.

So how does cause and effect come about? It is created by our karmic habits and disturbing minds of the five poisons (greed, anger, ignorance, slowness, and doubt).

We often say that there are 84,000 methods in the Dharma, and so many convenient methods are created for the purpose of helping us to find the right treatment for our own habits and to subdue our own troubles, and we also hope that we can better understand what we need to reflect on and what is worth really pursuing in this reincarnation of one life after another.

When it comes to the practice of Buddhism, it is important to emphasize vipassana, introspection, and introspection. Because there is no Dharma that teaches you how to look at others or find fault with their shortcomings, it is used to make us look at ourselves, to know what we are doing, what we are thinking, whether everything that comes to mind is good or evil.

This is what all Buddhism emphasizes. The spirit of the Dharma is to teach us to follow all the thoughts and actions of the Mahasiddhas of compassion, joy, renunciation, and the practice of doing good.

Slowly realize and practice slowly, so that wisdom and compassion can grow slowly. It's the same with using the Dharma to contemplate and treat our habits, and it doesn't happen in a moment.

Learning by heart and treating it slowly can be done after all. At first, we can practice reminding ourselves that this thing can be done and that thing cannot be done, and gradually we will discipline ourselves; If our good thoughts can grow with bodhichitta, we will have the ability to cure the five poisons of greed, hatred, and naivety.

All of this is done by bodhichitta. When it comes to developing bodhichitta and compassion for all beings, we all have one mouth to talk about, but it's very difficult to really do it.

Learning to remind ourselves from time to time, to observe our thoughts, words, and deeds from time to time, and to accumulate little bits and pieces of meditation can gradually get rid of the troubles caused to us by habits such as greed, hatred, and ignorance, so that one day we can eliminate our troubles from the root like Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.

If there are pure causes in this life, then it is easy for us to approach the minds of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, because the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas have compassionate thoughts and love for sentient beings, so they will always be the spokesmen of happiness.

You know, as mortals, the reason why we suffer is because we are troubled by too many disturbing habits and have no concentration in our minds.

Therefore, in real life, they are often dissatisfied and resentful. For example, people are often jealous of others, and if someone is very knowledgeable, we will be jealous; If someone is good-looking, we will also be jealous that we are not as good as him; Seeing that other people have a lot of property and don't have it yourself, you will be envious, and then you will be jealous.

We will compare from any point of view, as long as we are a little inferior to others, we will have jealousy, we will feel very uncomfortable, and this envy, jealousy and hatred will cause us a lot of pain.

That's why people often feel annoyed in their hearts! Many people have this feeling: "Why are you so annoyed lately? ”

"What's going on so badly?" In fact, the root cause is very simple, it is your jealousy that is at work. This is the reason why we don't understand cause and effect, what everyone has in this life is not balanced by comparison, everything is just the cause and effect that each of us has planted in the past.

If we know these truths and then deal with our disturbing habits, then we will have a lot less troubles in our lives, and we will also prevent more evil thoughts from growing.

This is not easy to do, because our hearts are often shrouded in these net-like disturbing habits, and we have to find a way to free ourselves from them.

What is the way to get out of it? Heart disease also needs heart medicine. It is up to us to rely on our own strength to find the source of happiness from suffering in the Dharma.

Whether everything in our life in this life is a manifestation of good fortune or a manifestation of lack of merit, it is important that we do not dwell on right and wrong, less and more.

The road has to move forward, the cause of the past life is the result of this life, and the fruit of the next life is the cause of this life. When fate is sufficient, cut off evil and cultivate good in time, warn yourself, walk in the present, and live every day with positive thinking, mindfulness, and positive ability, because time will not go backwards, but will only pass.

We have missed in the past, so we should not be busy regretting it now, but we need to correct our minds and move forward.
