Open your heart and live happily

From the ten negative deeds taught by the Buddha, we know that killing, stealing, fornication, drinking, and even bad talk, sowing discord, gossip, and so on, these actions do us no good, and people will cause these negative actions because of habits, karma, or desires, but the results of these actions usually make us very miserable.

From the perspective of the essence of reincarnation, the development process of the living body goes through birth, old age, sickness, and death, and in the end there is only one word of suffering that can be summed up.

But why don't ordinary people understand and don't know where the root of suffering is? Because of ignorance. It is precisely because of ignorance that we do not know what people are suffering for.

Many people are worried every day, worrying about not going well at work, worrying about not having enough money, worrying about family discord, worrying about children not being obedient, worrying about children not being filial, etc., as if they are living in troubles and complaints all day long...... We often complain about society, about the school, about the people around us, about everything, but few of us complain about ourselves!

We are accustomed to thinking that mistakes are caused by others, and that whenever mistakes occur, it is someone else's fault, but if someone points out our fault, we are very unhappy. When others don't do it right, we are not happy; We are even more unhappy if we do the right thing, but others don't agree.

Sometimes you know that other people's compliments are not necessarily true, but you just sound comfortable. We want to get what we want, and if we don't get it, we are very unhappy; Once you get it, you're afraid of losing it.

This is how people are afraid of change, but they are fickle. If you don't have property, you feel how good it is to have one; If you don't have shelter from the wind and rain, you think about how nice it would be to own a house...... As it continues, I will gradually think like this: these are the necessities of life, and with these, I feel safe.

The problem is that once you have it, the hope begins to increase, become

"How nice it would be to have two houses", extends to:

"It's better to have one in the United States, one in Canada, and one around the world." The truth is, this is a kind of human greed!

There are so many houses, I really want to live in them, and I don't have that time. People want so much, but they really need very little.

In fact, the problem is not that our efforts must catch up with the quantity of matter, but that the expansion of desire is immeasurable at all.

So is it a mistake to have material things and possessions? No. It is a blessing for a person to be able to have it, but it is important to know how much you have now, how much you can still have, and how much you can use.

If you think about it in this way, you will find that there are not many things you really need in life. You have a shelter from the wind and rain, a car to get around, and you have enough to eat three meals a day, and the rest is not a big problem.

However, because our greed is always at work, we always feel unhappy. Once the world is sluggish and the economic ability declines, compared with the past, I feel

"Why is it so miserable now". In the past, when we were in a good time, we ate enough three meals a day, but now that we are in a recession, we will still be full.

People must have the most basic economic ability, and if they are overly greedy and persistent, they will suffer because they can't get it, and the final result of such development is not worth it.

So, sometimes take it easy, we work hard, it doesn't matter how much we have, it's best to be content!

No matter what your current situation is, whether the degree of improvement you have made through hard work is greater or less, the key is to cherish what we have now.

Because these are none of the business, they are the fulfillment of our own cause and effect. In a big living environment, there is no value in complaining if we want to get a better life.

The right thing to do is that we have to rely on our common desire to learn to elevate this broken mind and let ourselves have a happy heart, then our perspective and concept of the problem will change.

All the good and bad are just our thoughts. It is this way and method of mind transformation that is given to us through the study of the Dharma.

Ordinary people seem to think that after learning Buddhism, they should be as serious as a mummy, and they look at many things negatively, but they don't need to be like this!

To learn Buddhism, you should learn happily and happily, and don't learn with a sad face. The Buddha told us that reincarnation is suffering, that is, he wants us to be free from suffering, free from troubles!

And to get rid of troubles, we must first open our hearts happily and learn to let go of our narrow hearts! If the mind is not broad-minded, then happiness can only be expressed literally, and it cannot be truly experienced from the perspective of personal perception.

It's like sunlight can't get into a room with closed windows and doors. Our heart is the bridge between ourselves and the outside world, and the real happiness is never outside the heart, but in the heart, the key is to see whether our heart is narrow or broad.
