Chapter 12: Percy Weasley

A white light shot out from the tip of Karl's wand, and in the blink of an eye, it made an arc that hit Percy as he fell. Percy fell abruptly slower, eventually falling to the ground like a feather.

Fred and George quickly rolled under their broomsticks and ran to Percy before they could speak, when Mr. Weasley heard the twins' screams and ran out of the house.

"Kids, what's wrong?"

"Nothing, Dad." Fred blinked, and he stabbed Percy, who was in shock.

George winked at Percy and muttered, "Just say something if it's okay." ”

"Fred! George! ”

The twins trembled at the same time.

Things after that turned out to be worse than Carl had expected.

Under Percy's "objective" narration, the Weasleys quickly understood the cause and effect.

"Fred! George! Mr. Weasley's gaze was unusually stern, "Remember, I said?" ”

He turned his head sideways to look at Carl with surprise in his eyes, "Did you figure it out yourself at home?" ”

Karl nodded, Polo's affairs obviously didn't need to be explained separately.

"Thank you, thank you, kid, you saved Percy." Mrs. Weasley stepped forward and hugged Carl and thanked him heartily.

"But, uh, kid, magic is a pretty dangerous thing, you shouldn't try it on your own without the supervision of an adult wizard, it's easy to put your life in danger."

Mr. Weasley is a good man, and even though Carl saved Percy, he advises Carl to be safe when casting spells.

The hostess of the nearby Lovegood house, a very good witch, died after a spell went wrong.

Karl humbly accepted Mr. Weasley's advice.

He didn't take it to heart, though.

He didn't have Polo's teaching before, and he was messing around there, didn't he also make a lot of "magic"?

None of it is for combat, though, it's all magic that "takes care of" people.

After convincing Carl and comforting Percy, Mrs. Weasley said that she would deal with the two "lawless" bastards who "almost hurt their family".

"You're already able to cast spells!" Walking into the living room, Percy, who had already calmed down, couldn't help but exclaim again.

To this, Carl could only respond modestly: "Actually, it's okay, magic is not as difficult as I imagined. ”

This is not simply because of any talent, but more from the perspective of the previous life, the spell is closer to the language of the previous life, English.

Their theories may be difficult, and it takes a lot of talent to learn the depths, but if you only look at the basics, you can always master them by memorizing, memorizing, and practicing more.

Of course, just like those students in previous lives, not all of them have the temperament to practice spells with the patience, especially at the beginning, when they can't see results after dozens or hundreds of exercises.

Percy, who was already in the third year, had a better understanding of this, and he glanced at Carl and did not continue.

Percy led the way, and the two walked up to the second floor, where a little girl who was supposed to sleep was standing in the doorway in her pajamas, her face was quite curious: "Percy, what happened?" Did Fred and George finally blow up the chicken pen? ”

"What you have to do now is sleep!" Percy grimaced, "You don't want to be nagged by your mother tomorrow morning, do you?" ”

Ginny grimaced at Percy: "Whistleblower Percy!" The door was slammed shut.

The two went up to the third floor, there were two rooms on this floor, and the two stood in one of them, and Percy was just about to open the door when a wet head popped out from between the stairs, and it was Charlie.

"What's going on, Percy? Fred and George just went out and flew a few laps, why were Mom and Dad so angry? ”

Percy sighed and opened the door, "It's nothing, they laughed at me in front of my window and were heard by Mom and Dad." ”

Charlie laughed when he heard Percy's explanation: "That's the time to beat them up." ”

"You shouldn't have lent them a broom." Percy couldn't help but say, "You know the personalities of the two of them, they're still so young, sooner or later they're going to be in danger!" ”

"Okay, okay, okay, Percy." Charlie said three "OK" in a row, but even Carl could see Charlie's perfunctory.

"I'm sure they'll all be good Quidditch players in the future, and maybe give Gryffindor a championship."

With the talent of a good Quidditch player, there are no surprises.

"What's going on, Charlie, Percy?" Still dazed, Ron poked his head out of the stairwell, apparently another hapless ghost who had been woken up by the twins.

"It's nothing to do with you!" For the youngest brother, Percy's tone, knowing that he was being perfunctory, became more and more serious.

"Now! Get back! Go to bed! ”

Ron's face turned into a persimmon in an instant, he opened his mouth, but didn't say anything, silently retracted his head.

Percy sighed and said to Charlie, "Goodnight, then." ”

Charlie patted Percy on the shoulder and turned to go upstairs as well.

Percy's room was neat and tidy, and could even be described as "not human".

There are no decorations, nothing personal, everything is stored where it should be.

If it weren't for the kerosene lamp on his desk and the books that had been opened, Carl even wondered if this was a guest room.

Percy had an old bed built next to his bed, the sheets were a little old, but they were very clean and tidy, and this was where Carl rested tonight.

Percy seemed a little embarrassed by all this, he coughed, and before he could open his mouth to find an excuse, Karl was the first to speak, "What a nice place, by the way, where is the place to wash?" ”

Percy blushed slightly, but he quickly adjusted and left the bedroom with Carl.

Late at night.

After washing, Carl lay on the bed, helplessly looked at Percy, who was still working hard at the table, and asked, "Aren't you sleeping yet?" ”

Percy looked at the sky and apologized to Carl, "I'm sorry, I usually sleep alone." ”

He turned the kerosene lamp down a bit, then took out a mouse with a broken finger from the drawer, carefully fed something, and then put the book in the suitcase beside him, then turned off the light, and groped his way to the edge of the bed and sat down by the moonlight.

"Are you usually so hard-working?" The room fell silent again, and listening to the sound of the people next to him, Carl thought it would be better to chat and make the room a little more popular.

"Fortunately, the main thing is that I have more classes, and it will be better to study some in advance." Percy replied as she lay down.

The two fell silent again, and an atmosphere called awkwardness seemed to permeate the small room.

"Thank you so much, Carl." Percy took the initiative to break the embarrassment, "If it weren't for you, I think I might have missed Fred and George's entrance ceremony tomorrow." ”

The warmth of the freshly sunbathed quilt made Carl's consciousness empty, and he casually asked, "So, you're looking forward to your brother's entrance ceremony?" ”

Silence fell again.

It wasn't until Carl was about to fall asleep that he heard a soft response from beside him.

β€œYES。”
