Xu Guixiang is a native of western Anhui. Born in December 1959, he is an Air Force writer and a member of the National Committee of the Chinese Writers Association.

He is the author of novellas "Ballistic Without a Trace" and "Decisive Battle", and novels "Elevation Angle", "The Sky of History", "War of Tomorrow", "Highland", "Spy Company", "August Osmanthus Blooms Everywhere", "All Directions", etc.
