Chapter IX: Prohibitions

In the pale of the flames, a cold blue burned again, surrounding the mutilated body of the bone bird.

The inhabitant of the underworld was much smaller than the last time she saw Esther, and the feathery patterns on the pure white skeleton had been converging, leaving only carved lines, and when it completely walked out of the spirit world to reveal its full form, it was just like a wild goose.

However, there are some changes, and its originally empty vertebrae are now hung with a layer of blue-purple tail feathers, which hang down like a broom under its wing bones, which looks very incongruous.

After Esther smiled and bowed, the spirit from the underworld similarly lowered its long, pointed beak and replied with the ritual she used to communicate among the living:

"Hello, Remnant, you can call me Radamanta."

"Hello, Radamanta." Esther straightened up and looked at the skeleton that showed itself in a more low-key manner, "Just like last time, I have something I want to ask you for."

Although there was no flesh or feathers, and only fire burned in the hollow eye sockets, the bone bird still held its head high with grace:

"It should be fair, what do you have to pay?"

"I can't give you much, but that should be enough for you?"

As she spoke, Esther tapped it in her palm, and a stream of blood with gray filaments gushed out from where her fingernails had scraped, but it swirled and closed like a snake, coiled up in a ball, and floated to the other side.

Unlike last time, instead of fusing the blood directly into the flames, Radamanta opened its mouth to take it in its mouth, and a thin gray thread emerged from the surface of the pure white bone and spread from side to side, spreading to its wings at both ends, forming soft short down feathers, which soon covered a thin circle along the outer edge of the bony bird's wings.

The bone bird shook off its light wings and floated in a circle, stretching its newborn feathers with satisfaction, and although the feathers still looked weak, they could slowly become plump with enough time and enough spirituality.

"Good, that's enough for trading. Now, I need to hear about the transaction......

However, before Esther could answer her request, her spiritual instincts warned.

As soon as Esther realized the danger, another voice suddenly sounded in the room, and uttered aloud an ancient Hermetian phrase:

"No entry here!"

Captivity!

Esther was no stranger to such abilities, and to her surprise, she was so slow to perceive the person, and she didn't even know when and where the other person approached.

Based on this, she immediately judged that the other party was at least a demigod of Sequence Three, and maybe even higher.

"Radamanta, our deal waits first."

"You don't need my help?" The Radamanta flicked its broom-like tail feathers, and by the standards of the underworld, even if most of its body was still *** skeleton, it could afford the adjective "beautiful".

Esther's expression was calm, and she looked at the figure suspended in the air, already staring at her, "I don't think so."

The Radamanta let out a birdsong of gentle laughter, and before the figure in the sky could speak again, the flames on its skeleton suddenly burst into flames, and as a starlight burst inside, the bone bird disappeared in place.

With such obvious movements, coupled with the traces of ritual magic, it is obvious that the people who are stranded here are not ordinary people, and to be on the safe side, there is no need to let the other party leave, a certain plan will be carried out soon, and there can be no more accidents.

The sudden appearance of several bishops of the three major churches near the underground mausoleum has already caused them a lot of trouble on the surface, and it took a lot of energy to reluctantly divert the attention of the Orthodox Church and perfunctory the suspicion here.

However, at this juncture, an extraordinary person was inexplicably approached nearby, and some kind of summoning ceremony was held here, although I didn't know what the other party was going to do, but after the initial confirmation that the other party was an extraordinary person, the person in the sky frowned.

That one

There is a sense of disobedience in the body of the nameless extraordinary, which is obvious to him, and it is also worth being wary of.

This middle-aged man has a very square-looking face, coupled with two long, upturned beards around his mouth, as if he is directly rubbed from a playing card, he wears a white hair cover on his head, thick eyebrows and sharp eyes, all with the natural sense of oppression of those who have been in the top position for a long time.

However, the gown and big hat he wore looked a little pompous and funny, including the clown-like long toe of his shoes, which looked like an illustration of a character in a history book, coming out of a hundred years ago, looking down with a serious face.

Esther didn't know him, but if she mentioned his name and studied history, she would have some impression - Grove Augustus, Prince Sunia of the Kingdom of Rune.

At the same time, he is also one of the most relied on supporters behind the Augustan royal family.

Prince Grove raised his left hand, clenched his fist at the figure in his field of vision, and issued a decree in the ancient Hermetic language:

"Imprisoned!"

However, his plan to capture the other party alive failed, and although the law was in effect, what was imprisoned was a phantom that was slowly disappearing.

Esther glanced at the "self" who was still in place, slowly showing a grasping motion, and she deceived the light and shadow around her, so that the momentary movement was preserved, and then fell into the eyes of the "judge" who was extraordinary.

Esther, who had hidden herself in the shadow of the tree trunk, had opened her right hand to the man who was floating in mid-air, dressed as an "outdated catwalk".

Prince Grove had already placed all of these valleys under his "jurisdiction", so the stranger was as conspicuous to him as a puff of smoke on the plains.

However, he was very cautious, and such caution was not in line with his strength in Sequence Three, but Prince Grove could not judge the other party's class "position", and there was no way to distinguish the level of the extraordinary.

If the other party is really an angel, then even Prince Grove has no way to deal with it and must ask for help, he senses that there is a situation in the "jurisdiction" and comes to investigate the situation alone.

He landed close to the ground, lest he be too conspicuous in the air, and said aloud in Ancient Hermes, "Teleportation is forbidden here!"

The ban takes effect.

But the moment Prince Grove stepped on the ground, before he could utter the next sentence of the law, "This place is mysteriously weakened, reality is enhanced", he felt a sense of emptiness grow, and his extraordinary power fell silent.

The other party can plunder or limit the extraordinary ability of others!

Prince Grove's face suddenly darkened, and he clenched his right hand into a fist and slammed it down on the edge of the woods where the man was hiding.

The whipping rained down like a swift sound.
