Chapter 14: Justice League Youth Edition

"Didn't you say you wanted to take him with you?" Selina was puzzled.

Before Ryan could speak, Bruce replied, "I guess we shouldn't just go play?"

Ryan nodded, still looking away from the Spider-Man figure.

Seeing this, Bruce said, "You also like Marvel Comics?"

Ryan: "Also?"

Bruce smiled and shrugged, "Because I like it too."

Serena followed, "I've seen it, and I haven't seen much, but it's really interesting."

Bruce: "I've got a lot of it in my house, I can give you a copy if you want to see it."

"Well, I don't usually have much to do."

Ryan: "Blame me."

"Huh?"

"I should have sent you to school."

Selina shook her head frantically.

Ryan took the figure and asked, "Who do you like?"

Bruce didn't hesitate: "Iron Man!"

"Why?"

"I feel...... He's similar to me."

In the past, they were all rich second generations.

Now, they don't have parents.

Poor hero attributes.

"What about you?" Ryan looked at Selena.

"Me? I want to think about it...... Thor God!"

Ryan nodded lightly and made a note that it would be interesting to see each other when there was a chance for them to meet each other in the future.

"Bruce is right, we're not going out this time. Of course, it's not for you to go to the battlefield to shed blood and die, and neither of you is a good person, so I want to take you to see something exciting."

"Excitement?" Selina blinked.

"It's very exciting." Ryan bowed, "Originally, I wanted to take Clark with me, but as you can see just now, my thinking is too idealistic, ignoring the fact that he is still in the childlike stage, and at this age, he should live his childhood."

Hearing this, the two nodded in unison.

After a pause, Ryan added, "Actually...... So are you."

Selina gave him a disdainful look.

Bruce laughed, "I think I've grown up."

Putting away the figure, Ryan stopped at the intersection and said, "There should have been one more person besides Clark, but I guess he should be looking for his mother by now, so it's just the three of us at the moment."

Selina snapped her fingers and said, "Ivy, Clark, looking for Mom, so there are six of us in this way, do you want to form the Avengers?" At the end, she couldn't help but laugh.

Obviously, this is just a joke.

Ryan shook his head, "It's not the Avengers, it's the Justice League...... Well, the youth version!"

The two of them had a slight light in their eyes, obviously interested in what Ryan had to say.

Ryan: "Reach out, overlap."

The two hands were superimposed, and Ryan put his hand up, his eyes looking left and right.

"Are you ready?"

The two nodded.

The next moment, Ryan activated the stardust, and the light shone brightly, engulfing the three of them in an instant, and after a strong burst, the three figures disappeared in place.

Jonathan staggered up from his chair again.

"Martha! Light! Light...... Holy Light! I see it again!!"

-----------------

Rooftop.

The space suddenly distorted, and the light violently contracted and converged inward, like a black hole.

A few seconds later, an intense burst of light erupted.

Three figures appeared suddenly.

Once again, Ryan caught the two who were about to fall in time.

Selina grabbed Ryan's arm tightly, "Again...... I, I can't take it anymore......

Bruce: "Gross!"

"You are too weak, your stamina and adaptability are not strong enough, exercise more in the future." Ryan shook his head slowly.

After a moment of adjustment, the three of them were attracted by the sound downstairs.

When I came to the edge of the rooftop and looked down, I saw that the street outside the opposite building was full of crowded people, and people were still gathering in the distance.

"This is the Capitol?" Bruce was confused, then shocked, "Wait, so we're just ...... Space Jump?!"

Serena's expression was similar to his, but because she knew more about Ryan, she didn't ask directly.

Ryan: "You're half right."

Bruce was dumbfounded, and his impression and perception of Ryan was refreshed again.

It's just that Ryan didn't say it, and he could only temporarily suppress his doubts in his heart.

The crowd below was noisy, the shouts were extremely noisy, various signs in their hands were held high, and reporters stood at all angles to launch the live broadcast.

Bruce squinted his eyes for a long moment, and finally frowned and shook his head, "What does their sign say?"

Selina leaned on the edge of the rooftop and leaned out boldly.

"This is our ...... The world, not ...... Yours. Earth...... Belong...... Mankind. Tell us...... Concerning...... What's the truth? Also, Superman...... is not legal...... Foreigner? What country would call a man Superman?"

"What?" Bruce's brow furrowed even deeper.

Ryan stood aside and thought about it, and finally remembered the scene.

He said, "Not a foreigner."

Selina looked back, "What's that, it can't be an alien, right?"

Ryan nodded, "You're right."

Bruce looked at him in amazement, and for the rest of the day, he felt like he was about to lose his knowledge of the world.

At this moment, the sky rumbled and trembled.

Ryan looked up, and a black dot in the distance was rapidly approaching.

"He's coming."

Serena: "Who? Superman?"

As if to answer her question, the crowd below suddenly erupted into loud shouts, but their words and tones were clearly divided into two camps.

Some of them shouted Superman excitedly, smiling brightly.

The other part, equally excited, but with a face full of resentment.

A red cape flutters, a blue lining, and a huge "S" logo on the chest.

They slowed down in the air, then landed lightly.

Selina was shocked: "He, he, he...... He can fly too, and he doesn't need wings yet?!"

Bruce stared at Superman with blazing eyes.

Reporter: "He's coming! Audience friends, Superman is here, he's really coming to the Capitol, it's really a historic moment, and now, we expect Superman to make some kind of statement to the lawmakers, to the American people, and, of course, to the whole world......

"Huh."

Ryan scoffed disdainfully.

Selina looked at him with wide eyes, "Do you know what's going on?"

Bruce watched intently as Superman walked into the Capitol and muttered, "I don't remember this Superman in the world......

Ryan thought for a moment and said softly, "When you are the only exception in the world, they will feel fear like never before, and then they will stop at nothing to get rid of you."

Bruce understood, and he frowned, "Is he really an alien?"

Ryan didn't answer, but continued, "When there are two or three exceptions, they will find a way to study you in fear, try to destroy you, or become you."

Selina and Bruce looked at him at the same time.

Ryan: "But when you have a large enough group of companions, and a strong enough force, they will suppress all fear and desire for destruction, and will instead find ways to get close to you, please you, and even obey you. Obviously, he's now in between stage one and phase two."
