Chapter 23: Fierce Battle
Metropolis, Center for Research on Reconnaissance Ships.
The entire city was frantically pumped with electricity, and countless lights flickered violently.
Thunder and lightning filled the building, and the blood cocoons inside the ship squirmed violently.
When the energy transfer reaches a certain tipping point, all the lights in the Metropolis suddenly go out.
The blood cocoon was suddenly torn apart.
A blood-red figure leaped up, breaking through the hull of the ship, shattering the research center, and leaping straight into the sky.
It landed on the roof of a building and roared like a beast at the city.
A helicopter light followed, illuminating its figure.
It is similar in size to the Day of Doom of a normal birth.
But at the moment, its appearance is not as strange and ugly as it used to be, and if you look closely, you can catch a glimpse of the shadow of General Four-Five-Zod.
The biggest changes, however, are two other points.
For one, its skin was completely blood-red at this time, and it looked very strange.
Second, in its mouth, two long, sharp canine teeth poked out from under the lips like daggers and extended to the chin.
Ryan stood in Gotham looking out at the Metropolis, frowning.
Although this guy doesn't look that ugly, it definitely has nothing to do with being good-looking.
Ryan's original plan was to see if his blood combined with Krypton's technology could finally resurrect Zod, who had been dead for more than two years.
By now the answer is clear: no.
In other words, the addition of his blood only reduced the degree of deformity of Doom Day to some extent.
This large-sized critic also seems to have no rational wisdom to speak of.
Ryan couldn't help but shake his head.
The experiment failed.
At this time, both the big bat and Superman discovered the anomaly.
The big bat pressed the shoulder of the young Bruce and said in a deep voice, "I'm going to be busy, let's have a good talk afterwards."
Young Bruce took a step back, his eyes and tone a little indifferent, "I'll talk about it when you come back."
Immediately, he turned to look at Superman, who had recovered a lot, and said in a gentle voice, "Your mother is safe, and I was rescued with her just now."
Superman didn't doubt it, smiled and nodded, "Thank you."
"You're welcome." Teenage Bruce smiled in return.
Looking at the cordial conversation between the two, the big bat felt inexplicably sour.
Louise tells the crowd about Lex Luthor's conspiracy in a short language, leaving the big bat speechless and losing his reason to continue targeting Superman.
"Something must have happened on the reconnaissance ship's side, I'll go over and take a look." Superman stepped forward.
The big bat didn't hesitate: "I'll go too!"
"I can help too." Barry spoke suddenly.
The crowd looked at him at the same time.
Barry flickered, and yellow lightning flew out of Gotham Harbor, crossed the river into the metropolis, and turned back in an instant.
In the eyes of everyone other than Superman, he seemed to just shake his body slightly, and then his face suddenly changed: "There is a big monster in the metropolis!"
Superman's body floated up, "I'll go first."
The big bat was puzzled, but still said, "You can bring it over and deal with it, this port has long been abandoned."
Superman nodded, and lifted off into the air.
Barry then looked at Bruce, "Do you need me to take you there?" I'm going to be soon!"
The big bat stared at him for two seconds before nodding slightly.
Suddenly, the two disappeared in place, and a kryptonite spear fell.
Louise finally breathed a sigh of relief, picked up the kryptonite spear, and then looked at the two remaining children.
"Bruce, and ......"
"My name is Serena."
"Okay, let's get out first......" Before she could finish speaking, she suddenly stopped, followed the sight of the two children, and saw that Ryan was descending from the sky with Martha.
Louise had seen Martha, so she immediately stepped forward to support her future mother-in-law.
Ryan let go, and Bruce and Selina approached him at the same time.
"Ryan, you saved me just now?" Bruce asked with a glare, he was tied to a chair just now, he only saw pure white holy light falling from the sky, and then he and Martha appeared in another place.
Ryan smiled and nodded.
Absorbing Zod's blood, he flew to the sun in space, opening his mind to the baptism of the stars at the most extreme distance he could bear.
For humans on Earth, the filtering effect of the atmosphere on sunlight is an absolute miracle that keeps life sustained.
But for Ryan, there is no other use than to reduce his strength and increase efficiency.
A day or so in space is more effective than a few months of sun on Earth.
Whether it is Kryptonian bloodline or light energy absorption, the improvement of Ryan is all-round.
Speed is only one aspect of the basics.
Selina also said, "You didn't tell me that otaku is actually a superpower!"
"Surprised?"
Selina gave him a hard look, "I almost threw up like Bruce just now."
Bruce blushed.
Turning his head, Ryan looked at the kryptonite spear in Louise's hand.
Seeing this, Louise immediately vigilantly retracted the spear behind her.
Ryan smiled lightly, "Get out of here, the farther away the better, they'll be coming." With that, Ryan flew up with Bruce and Selina.
Louise looked at his back and couldn't help but be surprised, she felt that Ryan and Clark seemed to be similar.
Metropolis.
Faced with the swaggering light of the helicopter, Doom Sun roared again, and with a single jump, it crashed straight into it like a flight.
The helicopter quickly adjusts its direction and altitude to try to dodge, but Doom Day is too fast!
Rumble!
There was a jolt in the sky, and Superman appeared on the scene.
He pushed Doom Sun backwards and knocked it down with a single punch.
The falling Doom Day pierced through two buildings, smashed dozens of cars, and destroyed an entire avenue before it finally stopped.
Barry arrived just in time with the big bat, and the two looked at Doom's huge size and hideous appearance, the former gasping and the latter frowning.
Superman quickly descended from the sky.
Doomsday gets up just in time and slams Superman into the building with a single punch, and then it leaps to its feet, shattering glass and walls and crashing into it.
The three of Ryan stood on the roof of the building to watch the battle, Bruce's small face wrinkled tightly, and Selina unconsciously grabbed Ryan's clothes.
The two fought for a moment, and the city was badly damaged.
"It's too rough." Ryan couldn't help but shake his head.
It's no wonder that the big bat doesn't like Superman, and this kind of destruction method and speed is much more serious than Doom Day's solo action.
However, Superman doesn't want to take the destroyer away, it's just that the two sides are evenly matched, and it won't be easy for him to forcefully drive the other party away from the city.
At this point, Clark's lack of scheming is exposed.
Probably because there were too many moments in the past, he was always able to solve the problem with his own strength and explosion, so he subconsciously ignored the role of strategy.
This is a common problem of many "strong".
"Ryan." Bruce whispered.
Ryan bowed his head.
He bit his lip with a pleading look in his eyes, "Can you help him?"
Ryan burst out laughing, rubbed his head and said, "Don't worry, everyone needs experience in war to grow, and so do humans."
