Chapter 371: Run, Gentlemen and Ladies
In the early morning, before the dawn rose, there was only a faint light green halo at the junction between the distant sky and the sky. The breeze wasn't fierce as it swirled across the Black Lake and the rolling meadows, but it was so gentle that it swept across Harry's neck and caused goosebumps to shiver and goosebumps on his arms.
Harry stomped on the soles of his feet a little numbly, turned his head to see that Hermione's eyelashes were covered with crystal dewdrops, he subconsciously touched the top of his head, and sure enough, his hair was also wet with dew.
The Quidditch pitch, towering into the darkness of the Quidditch club, is home to about a hundred or so little wizards shivering in the cold wind. This includes all third- and fourth-year students in the four colleges, as well as twenty or thirty seniors above the fifth grade and a handful of second-year students.
Harry looked at his classmates in different costumes with shrunken heads, and suddenly felt the urge to laugh.
After a few days and a list of all the students who had chosen the course, Professor Bryan had a Ravenclaw second-year witch post a new announcement yesterday asking all the little wizards to arrive at the playground by six o'clock on Monday morning and to wear clothes that would facilitate movement.
Generally speaking, except on Saturdays and Sundays, young wizards are required to wear a school uniform in the style of wizarding robes during normal school hours, and it is rare for more than 100 young wizards to wear casual daily clothes at Hogwarts.
The glimmers of light in the sky didn't provide much heat, the young wizards shivered in the cold wind, and not many people wanted to chat, including Harry.
Percy's girlfriend was falling asleep in Percy's arms, Ginny was leaning on Hermione's shoulder and snoring, and Ron was sitting cross-legged on the grass and snoring.
The little wizards around him were basically in this state, and Harry believed that if Professor Bryne's 'gym class' kept asking them to wake up like that, then the prank products that Fred and George were working on to skip class would be of great use.
After another ten minutes, about seventy or eighty percent of the little wizards were spread out on the ground, and most of the rest were also in a state of staggering, except for the little Ravenclaw wizard who had helped Professor Bryne put up the notice yesterday, still staring blankly at the mist-filled black lake.
Harry noticed that the little witch seemed to have something around her neck, what seemed to be a metal necklace, because it was glowing metallic in the faint morning light, and there was nothing to do, and Harry stared blankly at the little witch's neck, trying to figure out what the reflection was.
But the little girl of Ravenclaw suddenly turned around, and her silver eyes were the brightest thing under the gloomy sky.
"Oh, I'm sorry--"
Harry immediately realized his faux pas and quickly apologized to her, but then the voice behind him made Harry realize that he seemed to be mistaken, and that the little witch was not looking at him.
"I reminded you—"
A familiar, joking voice was delivered by the breeze, causing the sleepy little wizards to jump off the ground one by one,
"Rest early, I didn't have time for you to doze off in this class-"
It was Professor Bryan, who, like the young wizards, had stripped off his wizarding attire and put on a smart Muggle-style tracksuit, and he was as energetic as ever, and going to bed early didn't seem to affect him at all.
None of the wizards responded to Professor Blaine's jokes, their heads hung limply, and the only ones who were probably better were Fred and George, who were good at spending most of the night on night tours and then waking up early for class.
"What do we need to do, Professor?"
Fred stared with interest at Professor Bryan with his back straight,
"Throwing a metal ball into a Quidditch frame like Muggles? Do we need to use broomsticks? ”
"Muggles don't have this sport, Fred."
Amosta smiled, and then, he slapped his palm hard, raised his voice, and said loudly with full breath,
"Now, the first thing I need you to do is cheer up and gather around me!"
When Professor Blaine was teaching Defence Against the Dark Arts class, no young wizard dared to neglect Professor Blaine's instructions so much, but this will, after a long period of squirming, the little wizards slowly surrounded him.
Looking at the listless and immature faces, Amosta smiled secretly, but he didn't sink his face, these little ones still need some time to get used to.
When Professor Bryan began to speak, Hermione immediately cheered up, she was the only student of all the young wizards who still came out with a notebook, but Amosta stopped her this time,
"You don't need to write down what I said, just listen to it, Miss Granger."
Glancing at the morning light, which had leapt out of the horizon and was releasing a cross-shaped glow, Amosta raised his voice and said,
"Perhaps, you're wondering why I'm starting a new Muggle school physical education class at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and what I'm going to teach you in this class--"
This is indeed the thing that everyone has been most interested in since Professor Bryan released the news, and the little wizards who are gradually coming back to their senses have tried to hit their spirits and listened attentively to Professor Bryan's words.
"But let me say I'm sorry, but I'm not going to answer those two questions for you today."
Amosta's words caused a sigh of loss to immediately resound on the cold and windy Quidditch pitch, and Hermione immediately raised her hand, and with Professor Bryan's permission, she asked with a brow of puzzled questions,
"But we at least need to know what we're supposed to learn – I mean, otherwise how are we going to do our homework?"
"There won't be any homework yet, Miss Granger."
Amosta said with a smile.
With the exception of Quidditch, every Hogwarts professor leaves homework after class, and Professor Bryan said this, which not only did not make the young wizards happy, but only made them more confused.
"First of all, you need to know that
Waiting for the discussion to subside, Amosta continued,
"This 'physical education class' that suddenly appeared will not take up the time of the regular class for the time being, in fact, in the first stage, it will only require that it be here by 6 o'clock every morning."
"Every day?!" Ron cried out in despair, "Including Saturdays and Sundays?!" ”
"Six?" As Ron spoke, Hermione's roommate, Gryffindor's Lavender, broke down and cried out, "But only enough sleep can keep your skin glowing!" ”
"If you value the radiance of your skin more than your desire for self-improvement, Miss Lavender Brown,"
Professor Bryan restrained his smile, and in his calm expression, an indescribable majesty permeated the air, weighing heavily on the hearts of the young wizards,
"You can go back to the warm four-poster bed now and continue your dreams."
Looking at the group of silent little wizards, Amosta sighed, and his tone became gentle,
"What I just said is not to scare, in fact, this physical education course is indeed allowed for you to give up, but the period is only one month, within a month, if anyone feels that this course is meaningless, then, no need to say hello to me, you can quit at any time, but, after a month, you must stick to it until the end of the phased course."
Hermione frowned, guessing in his heart Professor Brian's intentions, Harry glanced at Malfoy on the other side, and found that Malfoy's face was firm, and there was no wavering in the eyes of many young wizards, so he also let go of the apprehension in his heart and quietly waited for Professor Brian's instructions.
Ron opened his mouth to speak, but he saw that neither Harry nor Hermione had said anything, and even his little sister Ginny was clenched into fists and looked like she was going to make a big deal, so he shrewdly closed his mouth.
None of the wizards chose to give up now, which was not unexpected by Amosta, but it was impossible to say how many people would be left here in a month's time.
"So now--"
Amosta pointed to the lawn at his feet,
"The first thing we have to do, and we need to do for a whole month, is to run twenty laps around the Quidditch pitch every morning--"
Looking at the group of stunned little wizards, Amosta smiled,
"What are you waiting for, run, gentlemen and ladies!"
