Have you followed the right person?
The impact of the environment on things and people should not be underestimated. If a person finds the wrong profession or follows the wrong person, he cannot fully display his talents, and he cannot but say that he is not a pity or a pity. However, as long as we can recognize this problem early, even if it is a little late, there is still hope.
"Good birds choose trees to perch" from "Zuo Chuan": At that time, Confucius decided to leave because of the political corruption of defending the country and his own lack of reuse. Confucius Wenzi, the ruler of the patriotic state, was preparing to go on an expedition and wanted to hear the opinion of Confucius, who said that he only knew etiquette, not war. And said: "The bird chooses the wood, and the wood can choose the bird." Then he returned to the country of Lu. Later, there is a saying that "good birds choose trees to perch, and virtuous ministers choose masters and things", which is a metaphor for outstanding talents should choose a good unit that can give full play to their talents and make good use of their own good leaders. Indeed, in the workplace, if we want to have a bright future, the most important thing is to find a good leader and follow a leader with great development prospects.
This is clearly reflected in "Romance of the Three Kingdoms": Cao Cao, Liu Bei and Sun Quan, although they were not strong when they first planned things, and the road to the founding of the country was full of hardships and bumps, but these three people are all emperors with great ambitions and good plans, and they can be called "Ming Lords". History has proved that most of the strategists and soldiers who unswervingly followed Cao Cao, Liu Bei and Sun Quan were very beautiful, and it can be said that they found a good home, but what about the strategists and soldiers who chose other princes? Either they are forced to change their ways, abandon the darkness and turn to the light, or they become the ghosts of the battlefield early. Having said that, however, not every professional can distinguish between a good unit and a good leader. In the eyes of ordinary people, a good unit often means a good treatment, some professionals think that they have got a bear's paw, but if you can meet some good Bole is naturally good, if you meet a jealous and even insidious and cunning leader, such as Yuan Shao, Yuan Shu, Liu Biao, Zhang Lu and the like, your future is difficult to say. Even if you are a genius like Tian Feng and Frustration, I am afraid that you can only have no scheming, and you will regret it for life.
So, how do we identify good leaders? Generally speaking, a promising leader will have the following characteristics:
1. Have a long-term vision and outstanding talents. Such a person can grasp the general trend of the world and accomplish great things that are impossible for ordinary people. Zeng, like many Qing Dynasty ministers, was only ordered to train the militia in order to deal with the Taiping army. However, the first thing he had to train was an army with "isms", and thus he ended up achieving what no one else had achieved.
2. Emphasize self-cultivation and morality. Crooked ways may succeed for a while, but in the end, it is inevitable that they will be unlucky. He Shen of the Qing Dynasty, in the era of Emperor Qianlong, was a good official and rich to rival the country, but he fell soon after Emperor Jiaqing came to power. And a person of high moral standing like Zhuge Liang has been famous for thousands of years and admired by thousands of people, not because of crooked ways, but by virtues that have remained unchanged through the ages.
3. Be good at employing people. As a leader, the success of his career is most directly related to whether he employs people appropriately. A capable subordinate must follow such a leader in order to show his talents as soon as possible. Fan Zeng took refuge under Xiang Yu's door, repeatedly admonished but could not be used, and finally ended up being suspicious and died. Chen Ping defected to Liu Bang, Liu Bang appointed Chen Ping as a lieutenant, and many generals had doubts, saying that he had fornicated with his sister-in-law when he was at home, and he had taken bribes during his time as an official, and he was a rebellious minister and villain. After careful investigation, Liu Bang learned that Chen Ping's small flaws were not enough to hide his great talent, so he did not abandon him, but promoted him as a lieutenant in the army. In the years that followed, Chen Ping made many meritorious deeds and assisted Liu Bang to win the Han dynasty. Chen Ping's stealing of his sister-in-law and accepting bribes are certainly flaws, but Liu Bang's ability to tolerate people's mistakes in employing people and talents can not but be said to be an important reason for his ultimate success.
Of course, the characteristics of a promising leader are not limited to these, and careful people can carefully ponder them in reality, because many details are difficult to elaborate, almost "only understandable, difficult to say". Moreover, discovering promising leadership is a meticulous job, "using the magic and keeping one mind".
We've seen examples in many places where people who are going to work at the same time start from the same starting point. However, after a few years, the gap between them widened. Some are promoted quickly, some are promoted slowly, and some are not promoted. When people who are promoted quickly talk about the reasons for their progress, they put the help and support of the leader in the first place.
If a person with certain abilities wants to develop as soon as possible, it is the best choice to follow a promising boss. There is no need to argue: a good leader can cultivate a large number of capable people, a good mentor can cultivate a group of good learners, and a good master can bring out a group of good apprentices.
Smart people will always put their own future and the leader's future together, follow a promising leader, and achieve further improvement of their own value through leadership.
