Chapter 6: A Stone and a Broken Bone

The stone, which was slowly turning into a boulder, fell into the dungeon with a clatter, and underneath it was a dead goblin. It has reached a new level, a new skill.

Stone thinks, these green things are very convenient things for leveling. Isn't there a proverb that says...... Kill two birds with one stone?

Now the estimate has been calculated.

But the dungeon now has an intruder. The dungeon reacted as well.

The rock sensed someone approaching, feet like stones tapping against the brick floor. Or more accurately, bony feet.

A large group of skeletons, like a large group of people, walked down a long, downward sloping corridor. The rock saw them and was not afraid. It is, after all, a rock.

But it does feel hot. It braked once during the fall and converted quite a bit of heat energy for itself in the process.

Storage temperature: 150K

Got enough energy to conquer dungeons? Maybe. But the rock noticed another strange thing. The corridor where the army of skeletons staggered along......

It is a downward sloping corridor.

Energy Conversion Started!

Convert [Heat] into [Kinetic Energy]!

Δ5K = Δ5 m/s

New speed [unnamed]: 5 m/s

Storage temperature: 145K

The rock gently pushed forward, climbed up the slope, and began to work. Become a part of the Rolling Stones. The ground is smooth and quite steep, making it easy to roll into. Much more comfortable than the rugged mountainside. In front of the rocks......

The skeletons all stopped, hesitated in the face of the approaching cannonballs. Rock though only see the harvest of experience and roll to the whetstone. The skeletons turned around and shuffled towards where they had come from, but they couldn't accelerate like rolling stones.

It approached the skeleton, then used a little new skill, tying an ethereal thread to the ceiling. And then it went up.

Pivot Point Activation!

Direction:

Rotation: 112°

The stone flew up, carefully using [Stee

], smashed into the ribs of the first skeleton, ground to pieces. It barely slowed down, only changing its speed by 5 m/s as it crossed.

Collision activated!

[Unnamed] deals 5 * 128.8 / 4 = 161 damage to [Normal Skeleton Todd].

New speed [unnamed]: 14m/s

It continued forward, hitting the hip of the next skeleton, as its speed barely slowed down, and the skeleton was a fairly light warrior.

Collision activated!

[Unnamed] deals 4 * 128.8 / 4 = 129 damage to [Normal Skeleton Tadd].

New speed [unnamed]: 7 m/s

Then it started to slow down, getting too close to the ground, and there were skeletons everywhere. It's time for a shift change. It uses a little bit of energy to point the new velocity to the right.

Energy Conversion Started!

Convert [Heat] into [Kinetic Energy]!

Δ10K = Δ10 m/s

New speed [unnamed]: 15 m/s

Storage temperature: 125K

It turned to the right, a [turn] and a new burst of energy drove it, and two more skeletons came together and slammed into the wall.

Collision activated!

[Unnamed] deals 6 * 128.8 / 4 = 193 damage to [Normal Skeleton Couple].

New speed [unnamed]: 8.3 m/s

Then the rock finally stopped for a moment, looking at the results. In an instant, the four skeletons were destroyed, and the rest fled down the hill as fast as they could. The rock stopped in place, accumulated a little heat and did not rush to catch up.

Because it noticed something.

The top of the ramp is quite wide, allowing the bones to clump together side by side. But there is a door and a narrow hallway in front. Just enough to move the skeletons in a column.

If the rock knew these things, it would take a cue from the fun of bowling.

So it waits, slowly rolling forward, slowly picking up speed. It waited for the skeletons to rush forward in a frenzy. Then, when the last skeleton entered this narrow place, the stone began to roll.

and acceleration.

brakes, heating.

And accelerate.

Flow rate: 25 m/s

It rolls forward like a stone, ready to crush all enemies into powder. Then walk down the hallway. The skeletons were just ahead, staggering in a frantic panic, moving faster when they heard the rumble of approaching.

The rocks lined up in a line, and then a pivot point was fixed on the ceiling, just in that brief moment.

It flew a little in the air, about as tall as the hips of a skeleton. Like a golfer hitting the perfect shot, this driver finally hit the home run.

Energy Conversion Started!

Convert [Heat] into [Kinetic Energy]!

Δ25K = Δ25 m/s

New speed [unnamed]: 50 m/s

Storage temperature: 90K

It jets forward with only a slight upward angle and uses the most heat at the current level. A giant shell that does not need gunpowder, only needs its own movement.

It crashed into the first skeleton. Next. Next. And all of them.

Collision activated!

[Unnamed] deals 8.9 * 128.8 / 4 = 286 damage to [Normal Skeleton].

New speed [unnamed]: 39.2 m/s

It lunged forward, the bones shattering into a heap behind it, the magic that held the bones together cracked on the surface of the stone. Its speed barely slowed down, as each impact was like braking on another thin wall of magical barriers.

Collision activated!

Deal 10.1 * 128.8 / 4 = 286 damage to [Normal Skeleton].

[unnamed] new speed: 26.7 m/s

It began to fall closer to the ground, so the stone spun a little and burrowed into the ribs of the next skeleton.

Pivot Point Activation!

Direction:

Rotation: 15°

The bones were shattered, and the last skeleton fell to the ground, piled up motionless. There are no skeletons ahead, only stairs. The stone fell down, crashed into one staircase, and then crashed into another, and then realized that it didn't really like the staircase.

Because... For the first time ever......

It was compromised.

Receive collision damage!

HP 8/8 -> 5/8

Stone felt that he really didn't like stairs. Rocks shouldn't hurt! They should have exploded straight away!

The ramp was invented for a reason!

So, it steered, braked, and spun, keeping itself in the air, just one step away from crashing into all the stairs.

It was almost to the ceiling, but suddenly a panel on the roof opened, and the wooden pegs were poked out, facing the flying stones.

They bumped into it, but smashed it down anyway. The stone slammed down on the stairs again.

Receive collision damage!

HP 5/8 -> 3/8

This is simply not true! Can dungeons deal damage to stones? This is not fair. The stone began to get angry. It walked to the bottom of the stairs and kept a good pace.

Then a trap was opened below.

It threw a [pivot point] onto the ceiling and gracefully jumped over the 4-meter-long pit. It landed on the other side and continued on, rapidly getting deeper and deeper into the dungeon.

Suddenly, the vents in the entire corridor opened, and gas began to pour into the tunnel, making a hissing sound. The stone was just confused by the gas trap and did not slow down.

Maybe the dungeon is no longer able to destroy it? As long as there are no more stairs...... What the hell is that green mist? It had never seen anything like it.

It remembers seeing clouds and fog before, but they really don't belong underground, do they? Something is wrong.

Then sparks flickered, and the entire hallway burst into flames.

The rock stopped, sat in place, amazed at the burning gas trap. Is this a place where you can collect energy for free?

After a while, the flames disappeared, engulfing the stone only for a moment, but still blackening its surface. The hissing began again, and soon more fires were ignited. The rocks allow themselves to heat up.

But it wasn't that effective, the flame was so short-lived, and it barely remained active in the energy sector for the time it had to wait.

It decided to move on. Another energy conversion, moving backwards at a speed of 15 m/s.

It went further in, had to turn a corner, and then suddenly stopped because a wall was blocking it. The vents open on top. Familiar hissing sound.

Then two ejectors fired at the rocks.

The stone decided to rest for a while - satisfied. In the end, it was properly treated. These flames did not stop, so it had to sit patiently and wait for its energy level to increase.

Residual storage temperature: 200K

Alert: The maximum permissible temperature has been reached! Take punitive measures!

Punitive damages have been received!

HP 3/8 -> 2/8

What is it? Angry at the rock's actions? punitive measures.

The rock blinds the air around it, or you can at least imagine it does it, and then it starts moving on. But... There is a wall in front...... Maybe it should go straight through? It converts 10K into its own energy and shoots it at the wall.

It exploded the magical illusion and reached the other side. A huge flesh monster stands in a huge room, looming over the stone. A black-robed goblin sits on its head, barking commands, but when it sees the intruder, it stops.

The rocks also stopped.

The elf [necromancer] narrowed his eyes. Could it be that someone threw a stone at his lair? Who would move a stone to such a deep place in a dungeon? Where are the intruders it has been warned about?

It instructed the meat golem to come closer and check things out. The hulking giant took two steps forward.

Then the goblin realizes that the stone is hot. It was almost 200 degrees warmer than normal.

It realized that something was wrong.

It's too late, it's close. The rocks swooped down and used up their maximum energy.

Collision activated!

Deal 9.5 * 128.8 / 4 = 305 damage to Dras

New speed [unnamed]: 14.5 m/s

It blew directly through the meat golem, which was too soft to resist the fiery red stone, destroying it in an instant. Then, it attaches a pivot point to one of the pillars of the room, slightly to the right, and then begins to rotate.

All the way.

Pivot Point Activation!

Direction: Right

Rotation: 360°

It circled, and the puppet fell to the ground and slowly fell, with a panicked goblin sitting on its back. The golem descended a perfect amount, bringing the goblin to the perfect position.

The stone smashed right on the goblin, slamming itself into the outer wall along with the goblin.

Collision activated!

[Unnamed] deals 6.2 * 128.8 / 4 = 200 damage to [Grand Necromancer Grog].

New speed [unnamed]: 5.5 m/s

The goblin was crushed between a rock and a hard place, and the golem dissolved completely.

The stone has fallen, and there is still some heat in it - ready to continue the dungeon. Upgrades have made it grow more than before, which makes it very satisfying.

These things are so handy! It only rolls forward a little bit, and already provides energy charging and experience for free.

It loves the stuff in these dungeons.

A door opened on the other side, and the Rolling Stones continued without hesitation.
