2.5---- Mina's Super Fun Day
Level 2 insight isn't much better than first, and it takes about an hour to upgrade it, which is fairly fair. I began to focus on the bottle of potion on top of the shelf. At level 1, I can only get their colors from the description, which would be great if I was colorblind. However, I am not colorblind, even though I am a cat and I am pretty sure that cats should be colorblind. Or maybe the dog is color blind. Is both possible? Maybe it's some fantasy reincarnation thing and I have to be not colorblind, or maybe cats aren't colorblind in this world?
The insight into potions is back to my mission.
Green Healing Potion.
Hey, it says he's healing now! It's very good to know what each potion does, and it can be useful if it doesn't clearly state the healing effect and has a red plus label on it. It doesn't matter what kind of potion is what, it's an improvement in my skills. If there is such a big improvement in each level, it doesn't hurt to continue using the skill.
I looked back at Mina and the group of adventurers. I didn't really pay attention to her, but she seemed to be talking to a guy who was wearing 4 separate leashes and looked annoyed. Mina looked annoyed, her smile was nervous, and her voice was almost dangerous.
"Sorry, as I have already told you, this was carried out recently, so due to its proximity to the border, no mission is allowed to involve traveling to the area." She explained slowly, apparently not for the first time. I think I missed a long argument.
"I'm always there to train! I know everything about it, so no problem! He complained.
"I'm sure you will, though, there's no quest for you in that area. However, you'll be interested in a similar quest where some unusually large spiders suddenly appear in the woods with the purpose ofโ" Mina was interrupted, and the guy walked away in a rage without listening, shouting that spiders wouldn't drop their belts. Her eyes twitched. I didn't hear the conversation clearly, but from what I saw, the guy seemed to be very qualified. I decided to get an eye on him when he left the building, and maybe it would.
Ahlers, "Skeleton Slayer", human thief, level 49.
Oh, it says hooligans, is that his class? I think I can see it now. Neat and tidy.
The next adventurer walked over to the counter. This time Mina took a deep breath.
"Hello! Welcome to the Adventurers' Guild! Mina said happily.
"I'm here to hand over the task of picking flowers for Vita." The adventurer said.
Mina was a little more energetic. "Well, great! Can I take a look at the flowers? โ
Without saying a word, the adventurer took out five green flowers that shimmered from his bag and placed them on the counter with an impatient expression. Mina began to look at them, her brow furrowed, and her smile faded.
"Sorry, these don't quite meet the criteria, so you're not eligible for mission rewards." She said, smiling apologetically, but a little distressed.
"The quest calls for 5 flowers. I have 5 flowers. How do you not meet the standards? The adventurer asked.
"Well, all three petals have been crushed, each stalk is bent to the point of nectar oozing, this one has been dead for a while, this petal has been eaten in half, and there is not a single one." Their root systems are connected, and you just need to cut them off half of the stem. Mina explained enthusiastically, listing the flowers and pointing to each of the destroyed parts.
The adventurer doesn't seem to care at all. "What does it matter? I received the flowers, give me the reward. โ
"Well, that's not enough." Mina pulled out a large notebook, flipped through it quickly, and flipped it over for the adventurer to see. "The mission description makes it clear that these flowers must be high-quality specimens. The flowers you get don't meet these qualities. So, I'm sorry. She spoke in a majestic tone, with an almost imperceptible smugness in her tone.
"How do I know that?" The adventurer protested, like a child who was surprised to fail an exam because he didn't study. "It took me a lot of effort to get the flowers, so I'm asking for compensation for the time I've spent."
"I'm sorry, I can't just give out rewards for the losing queuesโ" Mina was interrupted as soon as she spoke. I noticed her clenching her fists under the counter.
"I'd like to talk to your manager." The adventurer said.
Mina was stunned for a moment before she reacted. "Well, they're all busy right now, so-"
The customer interjected again. "I ask for it. I'm not going to let my efforts go to waste. โ
"It's a very low-level flower picking task. It's in the park five minutes away. I'm sure you can redo it, and then-" Mina's explanation was interrupted again as the nasty once again showed their lack of basic human dignity.
"I won't leave this place until your superiors rectify the situation." He said in a mature tone like a four-year-old child.
Mina took a deep breath, then smiled a little too broadly. "Then wait a minute." She turned to the crowded bar and waved in an attempt to get her father's attention. He looked up from the customer he was talking to, sighed, then apologized to them and walked over to us. He flashed a large, enthusiastic smile similar to Mina's. Maybe it's in families?
"Can I help?" He asked simply.
Before Mina could speak, she decided not to be disturbed. "This man wants to get the full reward of the Life Leaf Gathering Mission, but, as you can see." She gestured to the apparently useless garbage plants. "They are far from the required quality and are functionally useless. Despite this, he seems to believe that he should be compensated in some way for the effort they have put in, and refuses to take action until he is rewarded for his mission. Mina said professionally.
Father touched his chin and nodded slowly, considering the current situation. He glanced at the paper to see the mission details. After a few seconds, he sighed softly and spoke.
"Just give him a reward."
Mina's face sank instantly. "But Dad, the requirements of the mission are incomplete. It couldn't have been worse. She whispered to him.
"I know, you're right. But look at Mina's words. "By this time it had reached the doorway, and some adventurers were knocking their feet impatiently." Take a look at the bar. "Every seat was full, and there was no one behind." We don't have time for that, just mark the task as complete and send him away, and I'll take care of the rest. He said lightly, and walked briskly back to the bar.
The whole time, the bastard smirked and held out a hand to claim the reward. "Well, you heard your father! The task for which I have put in tremendous effort deserves to be compensated. Mina pulled out a bag, silently counted out a handful of metal coins, and stuffed them into the waiting hand. Thank you very much! I'm glad we were finally able to come to an agreement. The bastard said mockingly as he walked.
"Have a nice day!" Her tone hinted that maybe, just maybe, that she didn't actually want that absolute bastard to have a good day.
Ah, crazy. I forgot to use insight on him. Either way, it's too late now. The next customer walks up to the counter.
"Hello! Welcome to the Adventurers' Guild! How can I help you? Mina said happily.
