58---- new splendid city
The moment the sun shone out of the mountain's belly and shone on his face, Sev closed his eyes, turned his face toward warmth, and bathed in it. It's really glorious. I will see the light of day again.
A system prompt sounds, and a notification interrupts his time. Despite his eyes closed, he could still see it, which was disturbing and irritating. Why can't the game allow him to play his moments serenely?
Mission Complete: Find your way through the pass

Hearing the bell, Sef's eyes snapped open. The sunlight was too bright to burn his eyeballs, forcing him to squint to read the words on them.
"Wow," Kania said in awe.
"Amazing, isn't it?" That's Ding.
Immediately after, an exclamation from the big guy sounded. "Yes! Look at that, Sev! The shadow pointed to the large area in front of them. He turned his attention in the direction Awesome Dude was pointing. Instantly, his eyes widened.
"Oh." His mouth was wide open. "Oh wow."
"That's what I said," Kania snickered. "Pretty amazing, right?"
"That's what I'm talking about," Ding noted. He smiled at them. "Welcome to the Edge of Tomorrow, one of the few true cities."
On the edge of tomorrow, he looked at the majestic building and silently pronounced the name. Cities spread in front of them.
The name is apt, as it sits on the edge of a huge cliff with one side almost hanging in the air while the Rocky Mountains are safely enclosed on the other. A mile-wide river gushes from beneath the city, rushing over the cliffs in the form of a roaring waterfall. A white mist fell, rose up, and enveloped the entire city.
Rising from the mist are glittering dark blue crystal towers, these buildings are abstract and beautiful. They are not as tall as the two bridges, but they are grander, cleaner and elegant, with an ethereal quality that can be said to be enduring.
Eternity. Golden Sun: The light shines through the holes in the gray clouds, and wherever they fall, the buildings seem to glow and sparkle, as if they are ignited by the flames within.
In short, Edge of Tomorrow makes the two bridges look like a mud puddle.
"Now, then," Ding's voice pulled him out of his awe-struck daze, and he looked up to see the masked man approaching. "It's time to go back to the palace. I'm afraid the rest of you will have to go back to your own family. β
Instinctively took a step back, his gaze swept from Ding to the city. They just arrived! The Edge of Tomorrow is there, and they haven't even stepped into it yet. "But-"
"Now," Ding interrupted, his tone unyielding.
Sef frowned, a wave of indignation welling up in his heart. What's the hurry? Why don't they go to the city first? Moreover, this place was only added as a teleportation location after he entered. It's not enough.
He gave Awesome Dude an apologetic smile. "I'm sorry. I think I'll have to go now. β
"It's okay." The shadow waved. "Now I have to talk to my people. But thank you for saving me in the mine. If you haven't found me yet. β
Kania coughed. Loudly. "You're right! I don't know how you managed to get this far in such a short amount of time. Anyway, thanks, Sev! It's a lot of fun! β

For some reason, the hand reached him in the blink of an eye, firmly grasping Seif's arm. Without warning, the world flashed white, and he felt a palpable sense of displacement.
A moment later, he frowned when he found himself in the familiar family compound. He didn't even have time to say goodbye!
Ding didn't seem to notice his anger. "Come on. Others will wonder what happened. β
When he followed Dhi
Upon entering the house, he couldn't help but wonder if other players would have to deal with similar behavior from their clan as well. He wants them to do it, otherwise, it will be unfair.
Din led him to a side room near the back of the hall. He had never been here before, and the huge tapestry hanging on the wall immediately caught his eye. Each appears to be a map of a different location, detailing rivers, lakes, roads, and towns, all marked with fluid text. He revered each other from their awe and tried to see if he could recognize any of them, but failed.
Oren and Agadi stood at the end of the room, talking in whispers, but when Se and Din came in a second time, they were silent. The two older clansmen watched as they approached.
"I found him," Ding declared, as if it weren't obvious.
Agadi barely glanced at Seif, and when he spoke to Ding, his expression was completely neutral. "Where?"
"Ironback."
There was a suffocating silence between them, and he shifted awkwardly, glancing at Agadi's elusive face, then lowered his gaze to his boots. Agadi always scared him, like the pressure that somehow emanates from the masked tribal leader. He was nervous.
"I see." Agadi said.
"The foreman stopped the outsiders," Din continued. "When the boy tried to leave the town, he threw down half a mountain at Seif's."
"Really?" Interrogative sentence, the flat tone made the hair of the plug stand on end. "Yes," Ding said. "So I took care of it."
Taken care of-? Sai couldn't help but set his eyes on Ding. He was referring to the killing of Tafas!
"Okay." Agadi eventually turned his attention to the plug.
"You can't be reached, we don't know where you are, and we don't know that you've fallen into a trap. You're lucky that Ding is nearby. β
Sai fidgeted, unable to allow himself to look at Agadi or anyone else because of this. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean it β I didn't realize something like this was going to happen. "It's obvious," replied calmly. There wasn't any sarcasm, but it didn't make Sey feel any better.
"There are a lot of things you don't know. We all know this, and even expect you to be an outsider. It's not a game. There's so much more to the world than that. "It's more dangerous than you know, and it's important that you do what we ask for you and our survival.
The patriarch's expression was calm, even a little sensible, but there was a hint of loss underneath.
This is definitely the worst. This even makes Sey forget that he is only a game character in front of him, that he is in a game born of scripts, pixels, and clever technology, and that the game only presents a false reality.
"I see." He lowered his gaze and whispered. "I'm sorry, I'll definitely check in next time, it won't happen again."
"I know it won't," Agadi said mildly. Hearing this, Sey's body stiffened, and he blinked like an owl. Oron gently cleared his throat.
"If I couldβor if there was anything else you'd like to add, Agadi?"
"That's all," Agadi replied.
Oron smiled, his dark eyes seemed to glow with a cold light. "Then I'll take over here. Sev, we understand that you have your own difficulties, but as Agadi said, there are more at stake than you realize. Try to keep this in mind. β
Sai nodded wordlessly. Oren's eyes were almost as terrifying as Agady's speech.
"Okay." Oron continued: "Now, if you've crossed the Iron Back, your next destination will be the Edge of Tomorrow. β
Plug nodded again.
"Then we still have some work to do, you may not realize that the edge of tomorrow is quite important, you must have the strength to step into it, what level have you reached?"
Grade? Plug blinked. Oron also knows about the level, right?
"I'm level 26." "Well, you have to be thirty years old to continue. Ironback was originally a place where you could gain experience, but due to current developments, this has apparently been disrupted. β
"Ding." Oron glanced at the young people. "Maybe you can do Sef a hand."
Ding smiled. "I can do it."

After eternity, Seif found himself standing in the halls of the House of Representatives. He was wearing a new set of clothes because the last of his clothes were completely ruined by Ding.
The same black coat is worn over his shirt and pants, as well as the sleeveless gloves he received from Bruella as a reward for the mission. He got a nice pair of boots from Oren. Fitted, shiny sheet metal reinforces the toe and heel areas, and two buckles hold it securely around the calf. Despite the metal reinforcement, they are still soft and lightweight.
As good as they were, Severance wasn't quite sure if the rewards were worth the trauma he had just survived.
The "help" that Ding refers to is essentially beating Sev to the ground. Repeatedly. The techniques he uses are varied, they are all very creative, and they are also very terrifying, and because of this, his highest attribute is now life force. He also gained some agility points by dodging Ding, but all of this ultimately proved useless.
Ding spent an hour beating Saifu.
All the way up to level 30. Completely frightening, because only a psychopath can accomplish such a feat. Ha
"Oh, here you are, Sef."
The sudden sound in the hall startled him, and he jerked around. He moved so fast that he lost his balance and had to hold on to the nearest thing to keep steady, which turned out to be a pillar supporting the balcony above.
He didn't dare to blink, because if he did, he would miss the next attack.
However, the man in black who approached was not Ding. That's the father of a psychopath.
"Racine," he said in a steady voice. But he still couldn't let himself relax completely. "Ding wasn't with you, was he?"
Racine's eyebrows were raised. "No, he has something to deal with. That's why I'm here. Oron says you need someone to escort you to the Edge of Tomorrow. β
"Ah, that's good, really good." He slowly loosened his grip on the pillar. It was unnatural, but he didn't dare blink yet. "I heard he's helping you train," Racine said. Train-like progress.
"I gained 5 points of vitality in an hour," he told Racine in a nervous voice. "And 4 agility."
Racine's eyebrows furrowed together, and finally drooped. "I see, no wonder you're a little ...... Disturbed. My son is also very enthusiastic at times. β
"Well, I can assure you that you're safe with me." Racine smiled warmly. With a hint of exhaustion, like the masked man has just had a long, tired day, kind.
This scene devastated Sef, because his uncle Finn would give him the same smile. He remained motionless, staring at Racine, a sense of loss hanging over him.
The expression on his face must have been strange as the smile suddenly disappeared. Racine came closer, stretched out his hand, but hesitated at the last second, as if he remembered this, and Seif didn't like to be touched.
Even so, it's a Finn-like thing. This made Sef's heart ache, and suddenly he couldn't look at Racine anymore. He turned, frightened and confused by the sudden emotion.
"What's wrong?" Racine came to his senses and stood in front of him again. He looked at Sev carefully, trying to catch his gaze.
Sef shook his head, silently refusing.
"Is that your uncle?" Racine asked softly. "Mahon told me what had happened." He hesitated, a little surprised. Then he felt that he could accept it, because the Racine people were good. Trustworthy. Just like Finn. He nodded reluctantly.
"I'm sorry. It's really sad. β
Indeed, it was just words, but coming out of Racine's mouth, somehow made him feel a little better. Racine understood, he thought. He knew what it was like, and he didn't laugh at it, belittle it, or ignore it.
He understood.
"Thank you," he said, taking a deep breath, trying to calm himself down. "You...... You kind of remind me of him. A little. β
"Am I willing?" Racine sounded surprised.
Embarrassed. Why did he run to say this? It's stupid. He turned his head again, hoping he hadn't said anything in the first place.
But Racine walked up to him again. And this time, when he stretched out his hand, he didn't hesitate. He just put his hand on Sef's shoulder. Sef was taken aback, stretched his head to look, then looked up at Racine.
"I don't mind," Racine told him. He smiled again with warmth and kindness. Then he took his hand away. "Now, how about we go for a walk? I can take you to the Edge of Tomorrow. β
Sev smiled. "yes, that sounds good."

"We're here." Racine, who had teleported him here, pointed to the gate.
Well, technically, the city doesn't have gates, as the glittering crystal columns mark either side of the city's only entrance. Perfectly polished guards in elaborate armor and polished to a gleaming color blocked the way, making it clear that it was impossible to enter without permission.
"Will they let me in?" He asked. The guards looked very serious.
Racine's dark eyes furrowed, and a glow of humor illuminated the corners of his mouth with a hint of a smile. "Why wouldn't they? Anyone knows you fit the bill. β
Is it? Sev looked down at himself suspiciously. He didn't see any difference.
"Be confident,"
"You represent our family."
Not too confident, especially since he is about to set foot in this brand new city again. "I'll do my best."
A hand slapped heavily on his back, allowing him to be pushed forward by the force behind him. "That's the spirit!" Racine told him. "Now, go and register, the whole clan is waiting for good news."
A whole clan? This is not a cause for concern at all. Sev frowned and looked at Racine. "What do you mean by registration?"
In any case, he didn't think it was a real world.
"If Oren doesn't explain this, then he must want you to find out for yourself,"
Racine said. Then he blinked. "But I'll give you a hint. Go talk to Registrar Ash. He will explain it to you. β
Quest received: Talk to Ash the Registrar.
"Okay. I can do it. He smiled gratefully. Racine was so kind, "Thank you. β
When Sev walked up to the guard standing in the doorway, he waved his hand lightly and stayed behind.
