Chapter 4. Outdoor version of the game
At the beginning of this chapter, I introduced the many games I played in my childhood, whether single or multiplayer, boys or girls, except for the chua galaha, which can be played indoors (and outdoors, of course), the rest are basically outdoor games.
For so many years, except for the statutory holidays and the birthdays of relatives and friends, I will have feelings, and the rest are only moved by one day, that is, March 3rd, because I heard a song sung by Su Hong when I was a child: "It's March 3rd of another year, and the kite flies all over the sky...... "Now it's like a chicken or an egg that comes first, and I don't know if it's because I fell in love with the kite or because I liked the song because I liked it."
In short, every March 3rd, I always think of kites, always look at the blue sky, and imagine the scene of flying kites back then. So over the years, I have written a lot of articles about kites, essays, essays, and poems!
The earliest article in my memory was when I wrote an essay "The Kite in the Heart" more than 20 years ago, which was published in the first issue of "Oily Youth" in 1998 under the pseudonym of Tong Feng. The article recalls the game scene when flying kites at that time.
At that time, of course, there were not such good conditions for children now, and we could buy a beautiful kite and send it to the blue sky, so we had to do it ourselves.
Take a piece of paper, preferably harder, fold it evenly into three folds, tie it to the left and right sides with a thread, and tie the two lines of equal length, and connect them to the line used for kite flying. These threads are usually wrapped around the crutches (I don't know what they are called now), and the practice of the crutches is relatively simple, using a small rectangular plank, nailing thin round wooden sticks to the two short sides, so that the crutches are ready. Then tie a thick rope with a thread on the lower part of the folded paper, and the length of the thick rope is very particular. Too heavy for the kite to fly; If it is too light, the kite will somersault on its feet and head on the ground when it reaches the sky, and then go straight to the ground. After a few tosses, I gradually found the trick, and the kite I flew could fly into the sky.
This is called "lantern hanging".
Of course, this is the lowest class of kites.
A little more elaborate kite is made of sorghum stalks that divide it in half and hold the rectangular cardboard in place in an oblique cross shape. Then lead out a line in the upper left corner, upper right corner and middle corner of the kite, connect the three lines of equal length, connect them to the line crutch, and finally install a thick rope on the bottom of it, and take it to the outside to show off for a while.
We call it "tofu nuggets".
At that time, most of our children played with these kites.
At that time, the "most upscale" kite we had ever touched was "Bagua", which only a few dexterous children had owned. It is to tie two squares of equal size with thin bamboo, and then tie the two squares together at a 45-degree angle, paste the hard paper on them, find the middle line and side line, and finally connect the thick rope. The most difficult thing about this kite is that the balance is very difficult to find, and if you don't have a certain level of technology, you don't want to let the kite fly into the blue sky, even if you find it right this time, it will be difficult to guarantee that it will fly again next time. It is precisely because of the difficulty that among the kites that can fly to the sky every spring, the "gossip" is the least. I remember one year, a child next door succeeded in making one, and I don't know where he found a lantern spike (one long in the middle and two short on the side), which was received at the bottom of the "gossip" and shook the people of several streets. So much so that to this day, I have forgotten the name of that little friend (and even who it was), but I still remember that little fluttering black dot in the sky......
The second most impressive outdoor game is that there are two of the three words that can't be written, and Cao Chunlong used his Northeast dialect dictionary to tell me that it was the word "揙設", but I couldn't find the pronunciation of this word, the key is not the word in my mind. In order not to affect the reading,Or use pinyin instead.,Anyway, if you really know, you know how to read.。
Today's children may not even have heard of it, let alone playing.
The piaji played in different places is different, this does not refer to the way of playing, the way of playing is basically the same, the difference is the material and shape.
Some places are folded into triangles, and some places are folded into squares (for example, the friends of the two elder brothers of the Guo family are square), and a kind of round various characters printed on cardboard also came out in the later period (I also drew them); There are also a variety of materials, such as those stacked with paper, pictorials, and newspapers...... But the most advanced ones are the stacked cigarette cases, which are all piaji.
In general, prepare first, and stack a lot of each time.
What we play with is basically a cigarette box folded into a triangle, and we don't recognize those that are folded on white paper.
The way to play is very simple, with a jingle hammer (we always say that it is a nail hammer, the second word is also read as a sound) method to decide who is first, the losing side will throw their piaji upwards, after landing to determine which side is on the top, and then the winning side will take their own piaji to the ground on the side of the opponent's piaji, and the wind generated will turn the opponent's piaji over even if it wins, if there is no flip over their own piaji can not move, replace it with the opponent to pick up his own piaji to shake. Both sides take turns until one side's piaji is overturned, which then goes to the winner. The losing side has to come up with a new piaji and continue to compete until one side loses or the time ends too late, and more than two people can play.
At that time, the children wanted their father to be a big smoker, so that he could have many cigarette cases to stack piaji.
My father never smoked, which was admired by many people around me, and I was often asked how to do it, and my father always told them that it was very simple, as long as you didn't smoke the first puff, you would never smoke. Sometimes he also specially told the people who came to ask that there are three kinds of cigarettes that are easy to break the abstinence, and they should be absolutely prevented, one is to worship cigarettes, the second is to like cigarettes, and the third is to be particularly high-grade and valuable cigarettes.
Listening to him tell others this sentence has naturally become my conscious rule. I never smoke either, yes, it's really easy, just don't take the first puff.
Similarly, there is gambling, as long as you don't start the first time, even if it's just a penny.
There are often persuaders who say that if you play small, you just have fun.
No gambler starts by gambling on his entire possessions.
That's why I'm determined not to play, anytime or anywhere.
Anyone who knows me knows that I never play mahjong (to be precise, I never play mahjong with money, but I have never seen one without money in my daily life except for mahjong on the computer), and no one has ever looked for me even if my family is together.
So it's not that I don't play, I just don't play with money.
As for losing, it's okay to drill the table or something.
My father, who never smoked, knew about the game we were playing, and began to try his best to find a cigarette case, and then he found a cigarette box in Shanghai (I bought many things from my father in Shanghai, and the reason for this is because my younger brother was sick when he was a child, and he was treated in Shanghai for a period of time) found a kind of cigarette box, which was cut or cut small when the printing house was printed, and there was a deviation from the normal size ratio, which naturally could not be used for packaging, so it was sold, and it was sold in a bunch.
My father bought a lot of them, but I remember four main ones: the golden monkey, the Chinese man, the peony, and the green pine, each of which was a big pile, adding up to at least a few hundred.
This brand new cigarette case not only has a very beautiful gold dust sprinkled on some patterns or fonts, but also because it has not been packaged, it is particularly stiff, and it is much heavier than the cigarette box that has been smoked after being folded into piaji, and the direct consequence is that it becomes much more difficult for others to win me, plus my cigarette case is too much, so it was really chic when I played back then, and basically never went out because I lost everything.
It's also a feeling of a big buck.
But back then, I didn't even have a big amount of money, so I didn't feel it.
I still have a lot of these cigarette packs, enough for my kids to keep playing, but unfortunately they don't play with this anymore!
What a pity!
There will be many such pity.
Back then, I studied hard to fold piaji.
Suddenly, I realized that in addition to studying, I had studied and practiced all kinds of things I used to like.
At that time, I used all kinds of similar paper to practice folding, and my father said that I took out all the money he had stored in the book to practice folding piaji, and he said that I thought it was hard enough and better than white paper.
The banknotes left by my father back then, I once folded them into piaji, to be honest, this one is indeed harder and looks good when folded, and now there are traces of folding on this banknote, and my parents really keep too many memories of me. Another: If I hadn't folded it back then, this banknote would be worth at least a few thousand dollars now.
At this point, for the sake of Baidu's pictures of piaji, it turned out that some childhood games that were not recalled for the first time were discovered.
There are those who can play by themselves, playing slingshots, playing water rafting, paper airplanes, building snowmen, sliding and climbing plows, skipping ropes, playing yoyo (that is, swinging), drawing Ding Laosan on paper, drawing watches on hands, hand shadows (that is, using different gestures to use lights to display various animal shadows on the wall)......
There were a handful of two or three people playing. Fall into the mud (ask if there are holes or eyes before falling), touch the blind, southeast, northwest, the world is peaceful, turn over the flower rope, pour (on the sound) pocket (that is, two or more pockets keep turning upwards and throwing, can not land), one-legged jump (until the other party is knocked down, we were really leather at that time, which is like today's children), pick up the urine pit (bury a small stick with a small pile of soil, and then the children take turns to pull the surrounding soil with their own small sticks, who finally knocks down the stick Everyone laughs at his urine pit) ......
There are those who sing and play at the same time. The small leather ball kicked Ma Lan with his feet, you shoot one, I shoot one, throw the handkerchief (at this point, the familiar melody involuntarily sounded in my head: throw, throw, throw the handkerchief, gently put it behind the child, don't tell him...... ), weaving flower baskets (I still remember the words, weaving, weaving, weaving flower baskets, there are children in the flower baskets, what is the name of the children, called capsizing, shouting here, everyone immediately loosens the legs that are braided together, and the two of them hug each other, the single one is considered to lose, out, and then the next child continues, until the last two children win......
At that time, we were not environmentally conscious, and we played with insects, and there were all kinds of insects for us to catch at that time. Grasshopper - is dragonfly, butterfly fall (read lao - to sound) - is butterfly I don't know why I add the word "luo'er", toad - specifically refers to frogs, grasshoppers, ants, snakes - is earthworms, etc......
As for hoop rolling, wrestling, wrist wrestling, etc., I know about them, but I haven't played them or don't like them.
I didn't expect that there were so many playable projects in my childhood, so it seems that basically playing for a month without repeating the same, compared to today's children who only know a limited number of games such as mobile phones, we are really happy, really happy!
But kids nowadays don't think so!
They think they're happy!
Well, all happy!
May we all remain childlike forever!
When I was about to put away the pen, I suddenly remembered the game that my grandmother played, called to look at the cards, there seemed to be 108 cards, I remember that it was a Water Margin character, the cards were slender and long, sometimes she was more seriously ill and couldn't get off the ground, she could only sit on the kang and play by herself, it seemed to be a pair of pairs to take away, I fiddled, and I also asked how to play at that time, and now I completely forgot!
When I was about to upload it, my father gave me this set of cards that my grandmother played with back then. Tell my grandmother that he came to Daqing in 1985 - he has such a good memory, and he doesn't look like a person who is almost 90 at all. At that time, she drew a deck of cards in a paper shell, and then met a card seller in Saltu, bought a copy, and threw away the painting - what a pity. Grandma returned to Helen in 1986, and her parents have kept this deck of cards. There are 1~9 cards with merger, strip, 10,000 each, 4 of each, 108 cards, plus 4 cards of red flower, white flower, and old thousand, a total of 120 cards (this number of pairs). Each type has a Water Margin figure, and a total of 30 people are drawn. I really didn't expect him to collect it all, and seeing this set of cards that have been preserved for many years is still very good, especially the handkerchief that is still familiar with the cards back then, it is a memory imprinted in the depths of his heart. These things that were used in the year, the photos provided by those families that still retain clear and our eternal thoughts make grandma more vivid and vivid!
Don't easily throw away the things that carry our memories until no one remembers them......
Throw it away then!
At least these have brought us joy in those unforgettable times!
Even if it's just the happiness of the past, that's enough!
