Nothing is true,

Not to see the truth.

If it is seen in the truth,

It's not true.

If you can have your own truth,

Leaving the false is the truth.

Self-conscious and undetachable,

Where is there no truth?

Affection is liberation,

To be ruthless is not to move.

If you can't do it,

The same is ruthless and immovable.

If you don't move,

There is no movement on the move.

Immobility is immobility,

Ruthless and no Buddha species.

The first is not moving.

But when I see this,

It's true.

Reported to the learners,

Effort must be intentional.

Mo Mahayana Gate,

If the words are corresponding.

That is, to discuss the Buddha's teachings,

There is no quiet in this place.

If it is not corresponding,

Gassho makes rejoice.

There is nothing wrong with this sect,

Criticism is a loss of morality.

Correct the Pure Method,

Self-natured people live and die.

After the Sixth Patriarch Hui Neng finished telling his disciples about "True and False Movements", he said to Zhicheng: "Zhicheng, why did you want to fight the Divine Society just now? Although the Divine Society is young, it has already attained the true meaning of Buddhism, which is neither good nor bad, indifferent in the face of life and death, neither sad nor happy, and none of you have reached this state. I don't know what you have cultivated for many years in the mountains? For whom are you weeping now? I ask you, did you cry when the Buddha died? When I died again a hundred years later, did you cry? ”

The monks were stunned, and Fahai said, "Master, when the Buddha died more than a thousand years ago, there was no us; And a hundred years from now, there will be no more of you! ”

The Sixth Ancestor said, "Isn't that right! Without you in the past, there will be no me in the future. The world is impermanent, there is life and death, even if it is as expensive as Shakyamuni Buddha, isn't it also perishable? ”

When the monks heard the six ancestors say this, they stopped sobbing.

The Sixth Patriarch breathed a sigh of relief and said softly, "Now I will tell you again that the Buddha nature has no birth and no death; Didn't come and didn't go. My physical body has changed, but my Buddha-nature body is still the same, essentially lifeless, deadless, non-coming and going. ”

I was originally soiled,

Teach the Dharma to save the fascination.

One flower passes five leaves,

The result is natural.

Sixth Ancestor Huineng put Xi Qian down, held his little face with both hands and said, "Xi Qian, Xi Qian, isn't your name 'Xi Qian'?" ”

Although Xi Qian heard the meaning of Master's words, he was too young to know the meaning, so he said in confusion: "Master, this Dharma name of mine was given to me by you yourself when you shaved me a few years ago!" ”

Xiao Xiqian reluctantly tugged at the placket of the Sixth Ancestor Huineng's clothes and said, "Master, after you pass away, who should I rely on and who should I follow to practice meditation?" ”
