Chapter 30: Enlightenment

Although Bian Xi followed Jiugong, he learned all the movements in one go, and at the same time memorized all the essentials of the exercises...... However, he didn't understand the deep meaning of it, so he asked Jiugong in confusion: "What is the function and efficacy of this set of exercises?" For initiation, enlightenment...... How does it help? ”

Jiu Gong also seemed to have expected that Bian Xi would ask this question, only to see that he first stabilized his figure, then stroked his goatee, smiled, and then said slowly......

This exercise is mainly used to promote the integration of the dragon and the tiger, that is, the intersection of the heart and the kidney. Traditional Chinese medicine theory believes that the heart belongs to fire and the kidneys belong to water. Under normal circumstances, the heart fire and kidney water are mutually elevated and communicate with each other, and the yang in the heart descends to the kidney, warms and nourishes the kidney yin, and the yin in the kidney rises to the heart, nourishing the heart yang, which is the intersection of the heart and kidney. According to the eight trigrams, Kan belongs to water, belongs to the north, and is the main kidney; Separation belongs to fire, belongs to the south, and the main heart, so the heart and kidney are separated from the road, and it is both water and fire. ”

"Cui Gong Enters the Medicine Mirror" said: "Water is real water, fire is real fire, water and fire are intertwined, and water is not old." "In Taoist qigong, water and fire go further than traditional Chinese medicine, in addition to representing the heart and kidneys, but also representing the essence and spirit, essence is water, god is fire, and the intersection of water and fire is and qi, that is, one qi!

Chen Jun, the patriarch of the Huashan faction, said: "There is no trace of Xuanwu, and there is a hidden mechanism to form a holy fetus." That is to say, after the water and fire are both satisfied, the qi of one yang is combined in the Yellow Court into the realm of Jindan.

What does it feel like to have a heart-kidney intersect? Thoughts turn around between the heart and kidneys, slowly, the thoughts become trance-like, can't tell which is the heart and which is the kidney, sometimes the heart is below, sometimes the kidney is above, and slowly feel that the distance between the heart and kidney becomes shorter, and finally together!

During this period, there will be a variety of phenomena, such as the roar of a dragon and the roar of a tiger. That is, two kinds of sounds can be heard in the body, one is the high-pitched dragon roar, and the other is the low tiger roar......

Sometimes there are various bright spots in front of you, some bright and some dark, or there is a sudden bright light between the chest and abdomen, which is bright and transparent. Or in the lower abdomen, or in the chest petals (heart blooming), or the appearance of internal vision, perspective and other functions, these are normal reactions in the state of work, to deal with it calmly, not to pursue, let it be natural.

The Taoist mantra, formerly known as mantras, is a way to refine mantras with the help of external natural forces, which has the miraculous effect of promoting the rendezvous of dragons and tigers......

There are two situations of dragon and tiger rendezvous, one is in the Jianggong (Zhongdantian) handover, also called Shangjiao, called "Tiger into the Dragon Palace", and the other is in the lower dantianjiao, also called Xiajiao, called "Dragon into the Tiger's Den". Surrender the dragon, surrender the tiger, surrender the dragon and the tiger is to draw the hurdle and fill in, you can get a big medicine, knot Jindan, this is a further realm!

This exercise, when applied internally, can enhance the inner dan, strengthen the body, cure diseases and detoxify, and prolong life...... Applied externally, it is what Taoism calls "thunder law".

The so-called "thunder law" is not as some people imagine, as long as you get the true transmission of the talisman, as long as you draw the talisman and recite the mantra, you can drive thunder and lightning, and call the wind and rain.

In fact, talismans and spells are external things, auxiliary. The most important thing is that the internal qi should be cultivated, first from the body to stimulate the heart and kidney two qi, the anger of the water falls, the true fire rises, to the yin touches the yang, then the first thunder in the abdomen, with the idea to the sky and clouds, then the natural thunder and even the lightning across the sky, the wind howling, the rain falls, all of them are moved from the inside, sensing the changes in the outside weather.

However, this method is detrimental to the internal qi, so in the past, in Taoism, it was rare to use individual strength to call the wind and rain, but mostly used the collective prayer method, so the practitioner of qigong should understand that internal refining is the most important thing, and whether the charms and mantras are effective or not also depends on the level of personal skill.

"In Taoist Qigong, the Heavenly Master School attaches great importance to talismans, but the head of the Heavenly Master in the past dynasties are all great achievers in Neidan cultivation. If you only think about seeking spiritual talismans and secret spells, and ignore the cultivation of internal strength, you will not succeed in the end. ”

Bian Xi, with a confused face, seemed to understand after listening to Jiugong's introduction, and immediately felt that the method was really unfathomable! He would even have a kind of longing, just think about himself, if he cultivated like this for a long time, would he probably be able to ascend sooner or later?

Enlightenment...... In a trance, he had fallen into a dream, and there seemed to be a deep voice in the dark of Jiugong in his ears!
