2023/11/16 People are virtuous

Being a man is not to see how high he stands, but to see how low he can squat when he squats.

Ordinary people are always accustomed to using morality to restrain themselves, and we, the bosses, are accustomed to using morality to manage our subordinates, why is this?

If you think about it, you will know that the common people will take their own behavior of picking up vegetables for you at the dinner table, thinking that I am lower than you, but more powerful people will regard this behavior of picking vegetables as if I am higher than you.

What is the rationale? The reason is that powerful people will feel that they are taking care of you.

People at the bottom will think, who are you, why should I serve you vegetables? How old are you? Why should I pour water for you, even if I pour this water on the ground, I will never pour it into a cup for you.

What would a powerful person do? He poured water for you, he was polite to you, what are you comparing to the two? It's not about whom's status, it's about being higher than whom's morality.

Powerful people will regard their subordinates as partners, their bosses as partners, their customers as partners, their suppliers as partners, their wives as partners, and their children as partners.

That's the difference, and that's why it's there.

If two people compare who is more powerful, then the best people will see each other as partners, and if two people compare who is more powerful, then the best people will see each other as competitors. Therefore, let's not put the common people against the bosses, and we don't put morality against interests.

If you want to be a great person, you must learn to manage your subordinates with morality, not with benefits. If you want to be a great person, you have to learn to restrain yourself with morality, not with interests.

Again, the person who can finally be the leader in the team must not be a person with good performance, must not be the person who likes to work hard very much, must not like to charge into battle, but the moral level is higher than that of ordinary people.

He can say something like a shot in the arm when everyone is in a downturn, and change the atmosphere of everyone's downturn. This kind of person, he should not be the leader, who should be?!

Let me tell you a little story, this happened in a large company. There was a young clerk who worked very hard and had a great track record. He felt that his superiors held him in high esteem, and that his status in the company was gradually rising. However, when there was a major crisis in the company, his superiors did not take his side and instead shifted the blame to him. The clerk felt aggrieved because he didn't think he had done anything wrong.

At this time, a friend of his told him that his superiors had done so because he felt that the clerk was morally questionable. The clerk was unconvinced, he felt that his moral level was very high, and he was very friendly and honest with his colleagues and customers. Later, he began to reflect on his actions. He found that while he did well at work, he often overlooked some ethics in order to complete tasks. For example, he will make some dishonest promises in order to meet sales goals, or ignore some necessary steps to save time.

When he realized this, he began to take action to change his behavior. He began to pay more attention to ethics and tried to improve his moral standards. He has become more honest and accountable at work, and he has also begun to pay more attention to the needs and feelings of his colleagues and customers. A few months later, his superiors' evaluation of him changed dramatically. He found that the clerk's moral performance had improved considerably. He began to trust the clerk more and assigned him more important tasks. Eventually, this employee became an important leader in the company.

This story tells us that the people who can eventually become leaders in the team must not be simply good performers, but those who have a high level of ethics and pay attention to ethics. Therefore, we should focus on improving our own moral level so that we can gain more trust and support in the team.

And recently, in real life, I promoted a small manager in the company.

That guy is very capable, he will find which customer he catches, and his performance can't be said to be too good, and he is also in the top five. However, after he was promoted, the whole person floated, and I was a little better for him. Why? I'm treating him as an elite cultivator, but he himself treats himself like a spicy chicken, exuding a lawless atmosphere, and he doesn't have much respect for the colleagues below. How can you be a good leader, a good elite, and a good manager with such a person?

Leaders must be loving, and they must have a pattern.

Everyone says how the pattern is, what is the pattern?

The pattern is how many things can you put in your stomach, and how many subordinates can your eyes tolerate to do wrong things?

If a person really wants to do great things, remember that he can always be humble, so that nothing cannot be done.
