Chapter 61: The Secrets That Astronomy Lessons and Bathrooms Have to Say

On Thursday evening, Slytherin's young wizards make their way up the marble staircase to the castle's astronomical tower.

Although the process of climbing the stairs was not easy, almost everyone was excited.

Because it was their first and only astronomy lesson every week. On the other hand, since the Slytherin common room is in the underground area, this is also almost the first time that most students have come to Hogwarts above the eighth floor.

In fact, Slytherin was supposed to have had an astronomy lesson in the first week, but just like the flying lesson, the astronomy lesson was cancelled due to a sudden rainstorm.

So the second week of astronomy class was a back-to-back class that lasted a full hour and a half!

Although this would have completely missed the curfew time, the opportunity to be able to reasonably move outside of the curfew hours only made them more excited.

The astronomy classroom is located at the top of the Astronomy Tower, which is a circular room that is very different from the classrooms of other subjects.

The chandelier suspended in the center of the classroom simulates the orbits of the nine planets of the solar system, orbiting the 'sun' at different speeds counterclockwise.

The moonlight shines through the glass windows on the walls, reflecting the stars that dot the walls and ceiling.

Everything here was so new to Hallie, she had never seen such a wonderful classroom.

The only thing that disappointed her a little was that the astronomy class was going to be with Hufflepuffs, not Ravenclaw or Gryffindor.

Hallie was a little frustrated, she didn't know a single friend in Hufflepuff, and the only one who knew the name was Hannah Abbott - Hallie was impressed by the blonde red-faced, the first girl to be sorted!

She and Kassandra sat near the door of the classroom, and a dark-skinned lady walked into the room, looking rather young and wearing a peaked hat like the Sorting Hat on her head.

The dark-skinned lady smiled kindly and introduced herself:

"Good evening, my name is Aurora Sinista and I'm your astronomy teacher."

"Before you start today's lesson, I want you to remember one thing - astronomy is not divination!"

She said with a serious expression:

"The ignorant misconception that astronomy is often confused with 'astrology' is simply ridiculous."

"We focus on the mysteries behind the stars and the moon, not with the imagination! The mystery of the vast stars is not hidden in the veins of the palms or the crumbs of tea! ”

"Those who doubt astronomy often fail to comprehend how much wisdom lies within the stars!"

As she spoke, her expression changed with some regret:

"It's a pity that even if you yearn for it, the sky is still elusive."

"Only by relying on perseverance and meticulous observation that we have a chance to discover that shocking glimpse!"

"I hope you will remember what I said today, and then please bring your respective binoculars, the observatory is our classroom tonight."

Under Professor Sinista's impassioned speech, the students couldn't help but have more expectations and expectations for astronomy.

However, soon after they reached the lookout, most began to regret it.

There is no doubt that the mystery and charm of the starry sky fascinates almost all students – even if the wind is a little strong.

If they could have tuned in to the weather forecast, the average temperature in Scotland tonight would be just 7°C, accompanied by strong winds. Therefore, the students in astronomy class tonight will be able to fully appreciate the ruthlessness of the Scottish Highlands.

With a sad face, Harley pulled Lakassandra's robe with her little hand, which was almost frozen, and said pitifully:

"Kassandra, I feel like I'm freezing to death."

"I'm cold too!"

Kassandra was also shivering from the cold, and she murmured and regretted why she hadn't changed her winter cloak. Although Hermione had warned them that astronomy class might be a little cold, Hermione didn't say it would be that cold!

Hallie suddenly hugged Kassandra from behind, causing the latter's body temperature to rise instantly after a brief stiffening, and the flush crept up her cheeks:

"Hallie! What are you doing? ”

Hallie grinned, "I think two people are definitely warmer than one!" ”

Kassandra exclaimed:

"It's class!"

"It's okay." Hallie muttered in a low voice, "Look at your star, I'll hold mine, it's a big deal to change it later~"

In the face of Harley's coquettishness, Kassandra's little face turned red, and she couldn't bear to refuse her.

She could only maintain this position and continue to observe the stars in the sky, even though she had no intention of studying at all.

An hour and a half of lessons, almost freezing the Slytherin and Hufflepuff students.

The moment Professor Sinista announced the end of class, most of the students rushed to the marble staircase as soon as possible. It's so cold that the students who want to cry without tears now just want to go back to the lounge to warm up!

Kassandra frowned, she didn't want to huddle with the messy Hufflepuff students, and ......

The girl clamped her legs hard, put her little hands on her abdomen, grabbed Harley, who was about to leave, and whispered:

"Hallie, let's go to the bathroom first."

"Okay." Harley noticed that Kassandra's face was a little red and her walking posture was a little strange, hadn't she recovered yet?

They walked through the long hallway, past the walls with tapestries of "Trolls Beat Silly Barnabas," and finally arrived at the bathroom.

Kassandra blushed and pushed open the door to the bathroom and rushed to the nearest cubicle, where the sound of water rushing over was soon heard. Harley didn't rush into the bathroom, but looked around the corner of the hallway with some surprise, where she seemed to see a figure just now.

By the time Kassandra came out of the cubicle, Harley was already waiting for her outside.

They left the bathroom, and as they turned a hallway, Harley stopped talking:

"Kassandra, just ......"

Kassandra was embarrassed:

"Don't talk about it again!"

"Okay then." Hallie whispered.

She just wanted to say that she had just seen that figure resembled Ash.

But now that it's curfew, and Ash doesn't have to take astronomy classes, how can he be outside?

Maybe it's just some ghost?

Thinking so, Harley followed Kassandra out of the bathroom.

Kassandra walked quickly, not stopping to reach the marble staircase. Hallie trotted all the way to barely keep up with her, and together they made their way down the staircase with handrails on either side of the eighth floor.

It's just that when they reached the middle of the fifth and fourth floors, the stairs under their feet suddenly moved to the other side!

They reached the end of the staircase, and in front of them was a closed iron door, but there were no stairs on either side that connected downward.

Hallie said with some frustration:

"Looks like we'll have to wait a little longer."

There were a hundred and forty-two staircases in Hogwarts, some wide and large, some narrow and small, and wobbly, and most of them would suddenly move or even disappear outright, and this was not the first time they had encountered such a situation.

Kassandra was about to speak, when she suddenly saw a light appear in an area upstairs, accompanied by a hoarse, menacing voice:

"I see you two, don't even think about running! Damn, I'm going to lock you up today! ”

"It's Filch!" Harley and Kassandra looked panicked.

If the second worst thing to do at Hogwarts is to meet Peeves, the worst thing is to meet Filch!

"Go this way!"

Hearing Filch say that they would be kept in confinement, Kassandra hurriedly pushed open the door in front of her.
