Chapter 3: Diary

Looking at Lily with a determined expression in front of him, Xiu felt as if he had seen these eyes somewhere.

Xiu suddenly remembered one thing, at that time she and Lily were only 7 years old, and there was a boy in the orphanage who was older than both of them, probably because he looked at his appearance very well, so he was afraid of evil, and he actually wanted to rape himself like that.

The boy used some coaxing words to take her away, where did she understand this at the time, and she was stupid and thought that this brother was a good person, but she was stopped in front of her by Lily, and no matter how good the brother was, he would not give way.

In the end, the boy who was furious gave Lily a slap directly, with great strength, and slapped Lily out directly, but he didn't expect Lily to get up again soon, shouting and beating someone, while once again stopping between the boy and Xiu, and looked at the boy without fear.

At that time, Lily's eyes seemed to be exactly the same as they are now.

Sighing, Xiu continued to lean down and rummage for useful things, while asking Lily:

"Have the team members decided?"

"It's decided, Stephenson, Dunn, Sandro, Camille, Aiden, I told them all about the dangers of this operation, and none of them chose to quit." Lily replied with some mixed feelings.

After a two-second pause, Lily continued:

"Actually, I don't have a choice, do I, we have all analyzed, and it is clear that John was also passively 'wiped' away like that, and he couldn't even reveal a word more than a word to us."

"So if it's true, as we guessed, every child up to the age of 15 will be 'wiped' once, then I can't run away even if I want to.

"And, at best, if I can get John's ability and physical strength, I think it will be a good help for us to find John in the future."

"We ...... Deter...... No...... Lily's. Aiden calmly settled on the coffin.

Irritably, he grabbed a handful of brown-red hair, Xiu didn't say anything more, and left the basement silently.

"Repair...... Lose sleep over something...... You. Aiden said in the same tone.

"I know...... But we don't have a choice. I'll go to John's room later, and he might have something left. ”

"Okay." Aiden raised a quaint lamp in his hand and looked at it, shook his head again, and turned to look elsewhere, only giving Lily a back.

After taking two glances at the "garbage" in the room, Lily took the elevator on the first floor of the orphanage hall to the attic, and then went down the spiral staircase to the fourth floor, and came to the third room on the west side of the corridor, where she was about to raise her hand and knock on the door.

But then Lily laughed to herself and pushed the door in, after all, the owner of the room was missing......

The desk at the innermost point of the room and the two-tiered single bed next to the desk were the same as Lily's last visit, the only difference was that when Lily first came to John's room, she found that John's room was decorated in a very childish way.

Building block toys, game posters, etc. can be seen everywhere, and there is even a small wooden horse that can be ridden and swayed back and forth from somewhere.

But now that John has put away all these very childlike things, it seems that he couldn't help but laugh when he saw this scene that caused him a certain amount of mental damage?

Taking a deep breath and whispering an interruption, Lily went to John's desk and began to try to find any notes or something John might have left behind.

The desktop was a little messy, the drawers were messy with everything, and Lily looked a little big, but she finally focused on a slightly thick notebook with a teacup illustration.

Picking up the notebook, Lily found a brown line in a folder in the middle of the notebook, knowing that it was John who had made a page mark, but the specific reason needed to be found out after looking at it.

Pulling over John's stool and lighting the lamp on the edge of John's desk, Lily flipped to the page that John had marked and read:

August 17 fog

But every day it's fog, and only a little bit of a time it rains, damn fog......

If it weren't for that strange experience, I wouldn't have wanted to write a diary at all, it would have been a double torture, both physical and mental.

Since I went to "that world", many things have been different.

I've gotten some strength gains in my body, I've gotten faster, and that guy Aiden is never going to beat me again.

I could see some golden square-like words floating out of the floor and eventually disappearing into the roof, which I had gone to the basement and attic to see, and the golden words would go through all obstacles until they disappeared to the highest point I could see.

Those square words seem to be the characters of Xia Guo? In my impression, only the words over there are square, and there is a different kind of beauty.

I only need to sleep 2-3 hours at night to ensure that I am refreshed the next day, but my memory has deteriorated a bit...... That's why I need to keep a journal, yes, this damn journal.

I feel like I should have some other changes, but I can't figure it out right now, it's kind of like ...... You know what you want, but you don't know what you want, and it's maddening.

The next "screening tour" can try to go a little farther, for example, across the River Thames, to the Grand Theatre or Dun Lon Station, which is really exciting.

This needs to be kept secret from Lily and Aiden and Xiu, otherwise they will stop me and laugh at me.

When I come back with a tin sign from Dunlun Station, I'm sure I'll be shocking their jaws!

Reading this, Lily couldn't help frowning, August 17th, this is the third day after John experienced that incident, it was already more than a month ago, that is, John has secretly crossed the Thames River since that time and went to the area over there in Dunlun City?

What was that golden text he could see? Xia Guozi? And what does he mean by "that world"?

With a doubt, Lily immediately turned to the next page to see what else John had written:

August 24 foggy fog

God, Lily and Aiden won't believe what I found!

The diary came to an abrupt end here, just such a simple line, Lily couldn't help but pat the diary, what is this John doing? Did he know he was going to come to see the diary? String somebody along?

Lily struggled to recall John on the morning of August 25 when he returned from his "sieve tour."

It's normal, there's nothing she cares about, huh?

Is this John deliberately hiding? Or did John himself say it and forget it? But there are so many people in John's team, it can't be that everyone has forgotten, right?

Also, John is taking his diary with him?

For the first time, Lily hated anyone who spoke halfway.

Wow......

Wow......

The melodious sound of bells echoed throughout the orphanage from the huge classical bell tower on the top of the attic of the orphanage.

It's 6 o'clock.
