Chapter 4: One Night Later
"I heard that my favorite queen wants to see me......"
When Larard pushed the door in, I was standing at the window staring at the red roses in the garden.
I hadn't been out of the room for days since Vivien left.
Leillard holds a wine bottle in his right hand and two goblets in his left hand.
"After so many days of not eating or drinking, doesn't my queen know that I will be distressed?" Llillard handed me a cup, the liquid in which was red and thick, and it was blood.
I don't know if I need to drink blood, and I haven't eaten or drunk anything these days, but I still don't feel hungry or tired.
"I just wanted to see you......" I reached out and took the glass that Lirad had handed me, shaking it but not drinking it.
Lillard shrugged his shoulders and brought the cup to his lips and took a sip, then looked at me and pouted, "Is there anything my queen has to tell me?"
I walked over to the dresser and put my glass down, dodging Lillard's embrace.
"I want to leave. "Since I don't know why he brought me back, at least let me know if he wanted to imprison me.
"No way. Lirad's voice was cold, and he replied decisively.
So I knew that even if he kept saying that I was his favorite queen, it would not change his decision to imprison me.
So, what Vivien said about the fact that the woman that Lard loves the most now is the Countess of Sharman, is true.
Moreover, it is also true that Lillard is not ready to be the queen of Lishaman.
Originally, I had been asleep, and there were no other women around Riillard who could threaten Sharman's status, so Sharman didn't make any moves, and the relationship between her and Rirad was quite peaceful.
Now that I'm awake, Sharman is threatened, she's going to get rid of me, and Sharad wants to use me as an excuse to continue rejecting Sharman and can stay out of it as long as Sharman hasn't killed me.
At the same time, if I am accidentally killed by Shaman, Lard can take the opportunity to send troops against her and take the power from her.
"Then order that no one is allowed to come near here, and that the maids be taken away, I don't need anybody. Looking at Lillard, I think the smile on the corner of my mouth must be mocking, "Including you......"
Llard frowned, squinted at me, my red eyes met his green eyes, there was no trace of fear, no emotion, as if for a moment, I saw a trace of horror flash in his eyes, for some reason, suddenly felt that Llard with such emotions was distressing.
"Hetherine......" Lillard stood up, walked to my side, and slowly took me into his arms, a cold voice came from overhead, "Don't be cranky, I love you, I will always love you......"
I didn't ask him because I knew I couldn't get the answer I wanted.
At night, Lillard stayed, sleeping in his arms at night, very peaceful.
However, when I woke up early and found that there was no one around me, the feeling of loss was also painful.
Sitting on the bed, I tried to think about everything last night, trying to convince myself that last night was not a dream, that Rieard really stayed, but I forgot that we were vampires, no temperature, no heartbeat, only a long tiresome life, and that short night might not leave any traces in our long life at all.
