Chapter 15 The Netherworld I
The scenery in the dense fog is not yet clear, only the dew drops on the branches and leaves in the near distance are dripping, and the only hazy silhouettes are left in the distance, and the chaos is intertwined.
The sky that you can see when you look up is also covered with a light veil, the morning light is faint, and everything is silent, as if time is still here. Suddenly there was a birdsong from nowhere, and this clear cry that broke through the sky woke up the world, and the forest suddenly became noisy, and the birds from all directions also joined in the song.
"Then tell me about the eighteenth layer of the Underworld Ghost Realm, Tassel asked like a curious baby. ”
Feng Junlin cleared his throat and said slowly: The underworld is called the Netherworld. The underworld is the place where the life of all living beings is in charge, and after death, the soul is brought to the underworld by black and white. The Yellow Spring is the earliest concept of the underworld in religious beliefs. Later, the underworld in Taoism appeared, and after the introduction of Buddhism, under its influence, a systematic hell system was developed on the basis of the original evil Cao hell in Taoism, that is, the eighteen layers of hell. The concept of hell is greater than hell, and the concept of hell is greater than hell. Hell refers to the place where the souls of the dead are imprisoned and punished, which can be said to be the prison and execution ground of the underworld; and ordinary people may still smile in the underworld after death, just like living in the world, the good people even become immortals and gods and enter the heavenly realm after death
The realm of heaven and earth among the three worlds (heaven, earth, and earth). The "Three Realms" here refers to the Three Realms of Taoism, although Buddhism has expanded the Three Realms into six realms, but it is still not comprehensive, because in our traditional culture there is still a saying that plants and trees become essences, "vine spirits and tree monsters", and this truth is also due to the Taoist yang god can "gather to form, scatter to zero". Even those that can be refined include stones, and anything with aura can be transformed into shape. It is not confined to the six paths. But it is always contained in the theory of yin and yang.
The concept of hell is greater than hell, and the concept of hell is greater than that of hell. Hell refers to the place where the souls of the dead are imprisoned and punished, which can be said to be the prison and execution ground of the underworld; and ordinary people may still smile in the underworld after death, just like living in the world, the good people even become immortals and gods and enter heaven after death. Emperor Xudu (酆都北寅皇) and the other four ghost emperors in the five ghost emperors, the king of Yama (Yama King) or the separate Ten Palaces Yama are the rulers of the underworld, and the gods of the earth (Hou Tu Huang Di Yi), the god of Taishan Tianqi (the Great Emperor of Dongyue), the king of Jizo, and the city god are also gods in charge of life and death.
The Netherworld is the place where all living beings are in charge of life. All things in heaven and earth, after death, their souls are bound to the netherworld by black and white, and all their good and evil in the yang world must be ended here. As the saying goes, the living are in the yang, the dead are in the underworld, the yang is a world, and the underworld is a world. The world says that the underworld is eerie and terrifying, and there are lonely souls and wild ghosts everywhere. In fact, who has seen it with their own eyes, it is called a world, there is beauty and ugliness, this is the case in the yang world, and the same is true in the underworld.
People divide the space of human existence into heaven (yang) and earth (yin); people are divided into men (yang) and women (yin); day (yang) and night (yin) at the hour and minute; day (yang) and moon (yin) are divided into days and moons (yin); there are three realms in China, that is, heaven, the earth, and the earth; people have souls, and everyone has three souls and seven spirits, at least before the Zhou Dynasty, people believed that people divided their souls, and the soul as yang and the spirit as yin formed a person, and after death, the spirit and spirit returned to the sky, and the spirit and spirit returned to the earth, and the soul and spirit were used to explain people's previous lives. The evolution of the present and future lives, and divides the elven world into three realms: the earthly earth, the heavenly court of the heavenly gods, and the underground spirits. Huangquan may be the earliest concept of the underworld in Chinese religious beliefs. Later, in the Han Dynasty, there was a Yin Cao Difu in Taoism, and after the introduction of Buddhism, under its influence, a systematic hell system was developed on the basis of the original evil Cao Hell of Taoism, that is, the eighteen layers of hell. The concept of hell is greater than hell, and the concept of hell is greater than that of hell. Hell refers to the place where the souls of the dead are imprisoned and punished for their sins in the past, which can be said to be the prison and execution ground of the underworld; and ordinary people may still smile in the underworld after death, just like living in the world, people with great merit may even become immortals and gods and enter the heavenly court after death. Emperor Xudu (酆都北寅大皇) and the other four ghost emperors of the Five Directions, the king of Yama (Yama King) or the separate Ten Palaces of Yama are the rulers of the underworld, and the gods of the Later Earth (Hou Tuhuang Di Ji)[4], the Taishan god Tianqi King (Dongyue the Great), the king of Jizo, and the city god are also gods in charge of human life and death. Therefore, there is a way: Mo Yan does not retribution, and the gods and ghosts have arrangements. The "Three Realms" here refers to the Three Realms of Taoism, although Buddhism has expanded the Three Realms into six realms, but it is still not comprehensive, because our traditional culture still has the saying that plants and trees become essences, "vine spirits and tree monsters", this truth is also due to the Taoist Yang God can be "gathered to form, scattered is zero". There are also hierarchies in the underworld, and various official positions are in charge of all kinds of life and death, in fact, life in the underworld is also very boring.
However, the most common ones are black and white impermanence, and they often go out to detain their souls. But it's just ordinary souls.
Ordinary soul cultivators are not restricted, because soul cultivation can also be cultivated into a god, you don't know if he can cultivate into a god in the future, now he is arrested, if he holds a grudge for a lifetime, when the time comes, he will cultivate into a god and reshape his body, who says that he will retaliate?
Of course, the general mixed cultivation strength is very strong, and they all have their own unique methods, which are difficult to catch.
And if you catch it, it's a waste of time, and if you don't meet the performance standards this month, you will have to be punished again.
It's hard to be a ghost.
