Chapter 21: Cultivating the Blue Lotus Zen (Ask for Collection!)

Spells, like the Mind Method, also separate the six levels of mortal, condensation, subtlety, mystery, near-path, and sanctification. Pen ~ fun ~ pavilion www.biquge.info

The near-path level spell ranks second among these six levels, and it is only the saint-level spell that is naturally a well-deserved super strong spell. In fact, for the monks, the Near-Dao level strong spell was actually the most powerful spell they could master. Because not to mention that there are only a few saint-level spells in the entire cultivation world, take 10,000 steps back and say, even if you get a saint-level spell, with the difficulty of practicing a saint-level spell, most of them will not be able to practice. You must know that in the cultivation world, it is not uncommon for an entire generation of people to have not practiced a saint-level spell.

Thinking about his previous life, his cultivation reached the peak of my Dao period, and his combat strength was close to that of the masters of the early and middle Yuan Ming Dynasty, but he had only practiced a few short-level strong methods, and in this way, it was enough for him to persist for more than ten years under the encirclement and suppression of the two realms of righteousness and demons. And among the few near-path level strong methods he mastered in his previous life, Qinglian Zen was undoubtedly the most important. Because it is purely a spell that helps people improve their qualifications, it is self-evident how strong Qinglian Zen will be if it has neither offensive nor defensive capabilities, but it is ranked as a strong method at the near path level.

This type of near-path level strong method is far more valuable than the same near-level offensive spell and defense spell, and if it is exchanged, any major sect is willing to exchange two or even three near-path level strong methods. In his previous life, he was able to become a generation of masters, which gave both the righteous and the demon a headache, and a big reason was because he practiced Qinglian Zen, no, it should be said that the biggest reason why he was able to live so long and gain such strong strength in his previous life was because he practiced Qinglian Zen.

Because if he hadn't practiced Qinglian Zen, with his original qualifications, it would have been impossible to cultivate to such a high level. And if you don't have a high enough realm, what's the use of having a strong spell or a strong magic weapon?

Therefore, Qinglian Chan is definitely one of the biggest contributors to his previous life that he can survive for so long under the pursuit of the two realms of righteousness and demons. However, in his previous life, he got Qinglian Zen is a later matter, and he wasted fifty or sixty years before, so although Qinglian Zen has helped him a lot in the growth of strength, it has not fully brought its role into play. If he can make up for these fifty or sixty years, his strength will grow faster in his previous life, and naturally, he can become stronger.

Now that he has obtained the opportunity of "rebirth", which is of the anti-heaven level, the sooner he cultivates Qinglian Zen, the better. What he did just now was the first step in cultivating Qinglian Zen.

To practice Qinglian Zen, you first need to visualize the stone statue of Qinglian in the sea of consciousness, and then maintain the existence of the Buddha statue in the sea of consciousness for twelve hours a day, and then close the six senses of eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, and mind in turn, and at the same time close the six senses of eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, and mind, and understand the six dusts of color, sound, fragrance, taste, touch, and dharma.

In this way, after three years, Qinglian Zen can be regarded as practiced.

After practicing Qinglian Zen, the whole person will be reborn. This kind of change is like a phoenix nirvana, no matter how inferior the previous qualifications were, after practicing Qinglian Zen, they can improve their qualifications to the top genius ranks, and the worse the qualifications, the higher the improvement.

In his previous life, his cultivation before his death was the peak of my Dao period, and before that, he had survived the Tribulation of Pure Yang and the difficulty of my Dao, and the reason why he was able to survive the Tribulation of Pure Yang and the difficulty of my Dao was because he had practiced Qinglian Zen. Otherwise, with his qualifications, even with the help of many adventures, it would be impossible to reach the peak of my Dao Stage.

With his original qualifications, he would be able to cultivate to the peak of the Rongyue Period even if he reached the top of the sky, and it was impossible to reach the Sun Induction Period, and as for my Dao Period, it would be even more needless to think about it.

All of this is the work of Qinglian Zen. Not only that, Qinglian Zen can not only make people reborn, but also make people's spiritual platforms clear and pure. Because in the process of cultivating Qinglian Zen, cultivation is actually also cultivating the mind, and after cultivating the mind, the six roots are pure, and it is difficult for the six dusts of color, sound, fragrance, taste, touch, and law to have an effect on it.

Of course, making the Lingtai clear and the six roots pure is only an additional effect of cultivating Qinglian Zen, but even if it is used as an addition, it is enough to enable those who practice Qinglian Zen to resist the vast majority of the world's confusion techniques.

However, Qinglian Zen is not easy to practice, not only is it not easy to practice, but it is even very dangerous. The reason why he visualized the Buddha statue so lightly and successfully closed his nose consciousness was because he had practiced it once, he had already practiced it once, and if he practiced it a second time, of course, it would be much easier. And what he did just now was just visualizing the Buddha statue and closing the nose, which was only the first step in cultivating Qinglian Zen. If even this step is very difficult for him, then he doesn't even need to practice at all, and it is impossible for him to succeed.

So don't look at what he did so lightly, if you change someone, I'm afraid it won't be like this.

First of all, the mere act of visualizing and maintaining the Blue Lotus Stone Buddha can stump the vast majority of monks. It's not difficult to visualize this step, many people can do it, but the real rarity is the next step - maintaining the existence of the Qinglian Stone Buddha!

Because it requires an extremely pure thought, which is difficult for most monks to do. Because people's hearts are filled with all kinds of complicated thoughts all the time, this is the natural state of man, it is instinct, and it is difficult to control. The so-called "heart ape horse" is talking about this. In the process of cultivating Qinglian Zen, it is necessary to subdue this mental ape and remove the complicated thoughts bit by bit, and finally leave only an extremely pure thought to visualize and maintain the Qinglian Stone Buddha.

This is very difficult, and only those who have been cultivating the mind all year round and who have a high and profound mind can do it.

Therefore, unless it is those old monks who hide in the ancient temples in the deep mountains and meditate all the year round, it is impossible for ordinary monks to visualize the Qinglian Stone Buddha and maintain it like him. Moreover, even those old monks whose mental cultivation is unfathomable, not everyone can do it. And this is only the first difficulty in cultivating Qinglian Zen, and there is also a second difficulty.

This second difficulty is the difficulty of closing the six consciousnesses, and this is where the cultivation of Qinglian Zen is really difficult and dangerous. Because this step requires you to close the six senses, and to do this, you have to have great wisdom, great perseverance, and great courage. Among the six consciousnesses, it is the most difficult to close the mind, followed by the body, the eyes and mouth again, and the nose and ears are the easiest.

Closed-nose and closed-ear meditation are nothing, they just can't smell or hear sounds, and they don't require much self-control. These two steps can be said to be the easiest, and the difficulty is not even as difficult as maintaining the existence of the Qinglian Stone Buddha.

But closing your eyes is different from closing your mouth, not speaking or opening your eyes for at least half a year, which requires strong self-control, and the slightest carelessness may break the vows. Don't you see that those eminent monks and great masters also often practice closed-mouth meditation? It can be seen that practicing closed-mouth meditation is also a challenge for these eminent monks, otherwise there is no need to deliberately practice.
